Went here to resurface my 5.7L hemi cylinder heads. They offered to chemical clean, pressure test for cracks, and to resurface the good heads for $300. They found that the driver side head had hairline cracks and they marked them so I could see where. Since they couldnt resurface the bad head since it was cracked, they took $50 off the price bringing the service down to $250. The service was professional and courteous. They even helped me carry them back to my vehicle. Took about a weeks turn around time to get my cylinder heads back. 4 months down the road (today), the resurfaced head they machined in their shop is still sealing up 100%, no leaks, meaning the resurfacing on their machine was good.

I came in for a quote for my block and was gonna have them source me new cast iron pistons and rods. It was agreed upon that it was $275. I forgot my girdle so I came the next day to drop it off and Carlos tells me I have to bring all my used internals(rods, pistons) in. I Was confused so I went inside asking for my block back. Dude literally told me that 99% of customers reuse their pistons ? I dont doubt the people in the back but the dishonesty up front pushed me away from this shop.

These inbred idiots will charge you top dollar for a rebuild and put the Same parts back into your engine. Including a bent pushrod and rocker arm nuts. Which should not be reused. Joe is an idiot. And the talent has retired.

A few people may say that this place may “feel like a scam” or “dishonest about pricing” but I completely disagree. I brought my 350 Chevy block to these guys to completely go through it and freshen it up a bit. They were very honest and did not overcharge whatsoever. They did everything I asked and then some. Manny has helped me out very much and he’s super honest and understanding, as well as a really cool guy.10/10 I 100% RECOMMEND YOU TAKE YOUR WORK TO THE GUYS AT AMS

If I could if I could give negative Stars this is the place to give it. Took over a month and a half to resurface a single cylinder head. They said it would be done in a week. The front desk Manning must have sold used cars before. Cylinder head failed less than 2 hours into it they What I paid them to surface it, I could have bought two new ones from Amazon. I've learned my lesson not to do business with shops like this again.

They have lost parts I have brought in. Example,They swear up and down that we never brought the piatons in. They than found the piston after a very long and drug out conversation. They bring them from the back and they were used pistons ..... problem with that is the set I brought in were brand new. We walked to the back and eventually found them. The amount of time and effort I spent down there you would assume I worked there. Ever since Steve retired this place is falling apart. DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT TAKE YOUR BUSINESS HERE.
