I was looking for a specific Floriani bundle. I used Messenger to contact the store. On Messenger, they suggested I contact Tony at the store. He was able to special order the item for me and have it shipped. I am a very satisfied customer and I highly recommend AVS.

My husband went in to purchase a machine, they were super helpful. We’ve gone in several times and lost as what to look for and they make you feel so welcome. I love the classes as well. My daughter and I can’t wait to sign up for the next one. Thank you ❤️

Re Wm. Bonney Same thing happened to me 10/23. I was invisible. Stood at desk, clerks coming and going and standing there. Finally just left. Nothing has changed.

I tried SO hard to fix my Dyson myself, did everything I could. But it wasn't running great.Took it to Vac n Sew, they had it fixed so fast, and for a steal. I was ready to buy a new one, but she's back to new! So happy.

Today at about 10am, I walked into this store and went to the front counter where there was a blonde lady talking on the phone. I was there to buy a part for a Bernina 930 Record.I stood there for 10 minutes waiting at the front counter for someone to help me before ultimately deciding to leave. The woman on the phone never even acknowledged me or told me to wait for her.Two other female employees and the owner, who saw me standing there, remained talking among each other near the displays on the front wall. They also never even came over to talk to me.Then I got my hopes up when I saw a man walk out onto the floor from the double doors in the back. He made eye contact with me, I thought to myself "THANK GOODNESS, FINALLY. Someone is here help me," but... he kept walking over to talk with the owner. He never bothered to come over to me either.In the end, not one person came over to talk to me-- Not even the white scruffy dog that was roaming the store came to say hello.This place is terrible.

I brought in a Sanitare Vacuum and after three months it was spewing dust. I called Sanitare and they referred me to Vac and Sew. They took the vac under warranty and completely overhauled it. I thought this was excessive as it was only 3 months old but the warranty covered it. Then to my surprise they charged me $70 to change the belt. I had just replaced the belt the day I brought the vac in as a part of the trouble shooting process over the phone with Sanitare. This place can repair Vacuums but I would steer clear. In my experience they trumped up the repairs.

AVS is an AWESOME place with AWESOME people!I originally bought a sewing machine that had some issues. After 3 times of trying to fix the issues, I was given a straight exchange. Then, that one also had issues. I determined it just wasn’t the brand for me and, asked if I could exchange it for a different brand. The sales lady helped me all thru my struggles. She is attentive and patient with great communication. She wanted to be sure I am getting a machine within my budget with (most) of the features I wanted. She showed me a few machines, and at no time did I feel any pressure to buy anything! She wanted to make sure I would be very happy and satisfied with my choice. I decided on the Janome S5. Hopefully, this one works out! And has no issues for me. Thank you AVS!!!

I have purchased a number of sewing machines over the past few years and miscellaneous attachments for them. Each time, I have received them in perfect condition. AVS also sells lovely quilt fabric of excellent quality at a reasonable price. It is easy to order items that aren’t in stock and store staff calls when orders are received. Classes for specific machine owners are regularly scheduled and staff are willing to help sewists with problems that arise.Lastly, everyone who works in the store is super friendly and, if you’re a regular customer, they learn your name and you get a friendly personal greeting when you come in.
