I really appreciate the doctors and staff here. Very kind, very patient, and always putting my cat's health as the priority, even calling me when an earlier time slot opens up and they know my cat is ill. I feel I get expert answers to my many questions. I'm very pleased with all of my experiences here.

Dr. Janzen is phenomenal...so kind and patient. Alex at the front desk is amazing as well...very helpful and accommodating. My pups are always treated great.

Unfortunately I use to be a climatic to this veterinary. No more they don't want any new pets 0r fur babies.. cats or dogs ., they don't have the manors to call customer back! And omg who takes A 2 hour lunch break!! Must be nice ... I guess I went in2 the wrong n profusion .. no communication.. don't use this vet . If you love your fur babies

After being turned away by 4 different vets we were finally able to get help here. The staff were all very kind and caring considering the situation. When the vet came in he gave us his honest opinion about our dog. We made the tough decision to put her down. The situation was just not ideal for a dog her age. The process of euthanizing her was one of the most difficult things I've ever done. The staff was so patient and had nothing but kind words to say during this tough time. I can't thank them enough. The tech who helped us got me a few paw and nose prints to keep. She also gave me a little box with some of my dog's hair. I appreciate everything they did for us.

Our original vet of 30 years passed away. We had been gone for 10 years and needed a new vet. I was a bit nervous because Dr Nicolayason had set a very high bar. He not only ran this clinic, with his wife, he taught at UC DAVIS on occasional weekends. We wanted the new vet to be as good as he had been. Dr Janzen and her staff have fulfilled our expectations. They all display such empathy. And I appreciate that they kept the separate entrances for dogs and cats. I have cats, some of whom have never seen a dog. They're already stressed out about the cage & the car ride. I'm so grateful that someone picked up the clinic and kept it open.

Small office with the kindest staff! By the second visit, they knew my name! I am brand new to the area, so I picked a veterinary office based on reviews, not knowing it was a good 25 minute drive for me from my house. I almost considered changing clinics because I felt like it was a little far. However, This office is just way too special to consider switching. There is only one veterinarian, and she is quite young, but so knowledgeable. They are a little bit old-fashioned, both in office decor, and modern policies. For instance, they don't utilize an online pharmacy. They do have a great app they use, though, called PetDesk, where you can send messages and submit prescription refills. I came from a very large veterinary clinic, with eight doctors, and you don't always see the same veterinarian when you bring your pet in. The experience just wasn't as personal as this place. It's literally a joy to go in and pick up prescriptions, I have three dogs, two with medical issues, so I'm in and out of this office a lot, and I am always greeted with a warm smile and a "hello Michelle". Don't hesitate to choose this clinic for your pet, especially If you are looking for a small office with a down-home feel!!

I've had nothing but positive experiences here, even in the worst of times. The staff are amazing and so understanding, every time I'm here it feels like I'm visiting old friends. Dr. Janzen is personable, kind, and so warm to all the furry friends she comes in contact with. All the staff are inviting and genuinely fun to be around. Beyond thankful for Animal Medical Clinic.
P.s. the 70s aesthetic in the office is SUCH a vibe.

I've been coming here a little more than a year now and i am so happy with my choice to change to this veterinarian facility!!! Amazing staff amazing service an outstanding love for all animals and it's seen and noticed. Staff is all great!!! Love love love this place!!!

For 4 years now my family has visited animal medical clinic and we are so pleased with the level of care we get, from the vet level and also throughout their team of dedicated vet techs and staff. All of the staff at this clinic have gone the extra mile to help our senior Chihuahua (16!) with various health issues. We have tried other vets in the valley (including from big name chain brands) that were less than gentle with our dog, which left her nervous for vet visits for several years. Animal Medical Clinic is the one place she's felt at ease- the service is really incomparable. From small things like nails and grooming, to speaking frankly about how to maintain our dog's quality of life as she continues to age and face new challenges, we have complete trust in clinic staff and our vet Dr. Janzen. Dr Janzen is also very clear about procedure costs and various pathways for treatment, including referrals to other clinics with more technology and/or specialists as needed. The nurses are so lovely and gentle in addition to being very skilled, and and kindly welcome our dog in every visit (which is probably why she's so relaxed when we bring her to check ups). Last fun detail about the clinic: they have separate entrances to the building for dogs and cats, to keep animals from stressing each other out. The only downsides are that 1) animal medical clinic primarily sees dogs and cats, if you have another kind of animal they may not be able to help you 2) no walk ins, you have to call and make an appointment.

I love this vet! The front staff is very welcoming and knowledgeable. Dr. Janzen is very nice and informative. I love how thorough she is, and she took her time to examine my cat. She explained everything in terms I understand and was very patient with all of my questions. She was gentle with my cat, and she actually seemed to care what was going on with her. What I love most about her is that she gave me more than enough options of treatment for my sick cat. She explained the benefits of every treatment option from the minimum form of treatment to the most beneficial, and I didn't feel obligated to make a quick decision. She didn't try to sell me anything extra, and she wasn't pushy at all. I appreciate that about her. Thank you Dr. Janzen and staff!
