I book an appointment for rotation and alignment but they only did the rotation. I had to go back for alignment. They didn’t even fix my tire pressure! And said it’s done with rotation.

I was in Fremont wheel works for my car’s inspection. They didn’t accepted my car for service on 29th August and provided me the next day 30th August, 7 AM appointment.
The supervisor told me to come back after 2 hours - I responded that I don’t have a car, plus this inspection which is required by Uber only requires inspection of lights and breaks; he said it can upto 90 minutes if I want to wait.
I had no option but to wait - despite passing 40 minutes, my car was not in their garage and it was standing in the parking untouched. I started reading the shop reviews that verified the horrible experience customers faced with their appointments and wait times.
I went back to the supervisor and told him that my car is not yet touched, I would like to cancel your service as I can’t wait too much for a regular inspection that I already have scheduled an appointment for. He without hesitation, happily returned my car keys just as he was not willing to perform this service.
I hope they stop wasting people’s time and I hope they are held accountable for their unsatisfactory service. I was able to get my inspection done in 20 minutes with another auto care center.

I've been coming to Wheel Works for years, and I've seen significant improvements in their management. The staff is more efficient, and I was particularly impressed with the speed of the alignment check. The technician who rechecked my alignment was very quick and skilled. Overall, the service has become even better over time. Highly recommended!

I had an absolutely dreadful experience at Wheel Works. I made an appointment to change just two tires first thing in the morning, expecting a quick and efficient service. The tires were in stock, so I thought it would be a breeze. Boy, was I wrong!
Despite the shop being nearly empty and having only one mechanic on duty, I was told I'd have to wait until 6 PM. Yes, you read that right—6 PM! My appointment was 8AM. 10 hours of waiting by to change 2 tire. I’m a mechanic and I know it realistically takes 30 min to do.
Meanwhile, American Tires across the street was buzzing with activity, bustling with customers, and mechanics who actually seemed to care about their jobs.
It's beyond me how Wheel Works is still in business with such appalling customer service. It seems like the owner has no clue about the disaster unfolding in their shop. Save yourself the headache and avoid this place at all costs. Absolutely horrendous!

They are straightforward and on task with the work that is needed.
They are honest about what they find.
They looked and checked the things I was worried about and repaired more accurately.
I give them good review because they earned it and kept to correct charges.

Customer service 7/11 - dismissive, absolutely no bedside manner, really needs a check regarding attitude considering customers are paying upwards of a grand for a set.

Went in for an alignment a year ago. They pulled the tires off to check brakes which I did not ask for. They broke one of the hubcaps did not tell me. I brought it up tech just said sorry. I used to work at tire shops so I get it dropped the issue. Flashforward 6 months I go to rotate tires I had 5 stripped studs removing tires fixed them myself. I normally don't leave reviews but this ticked me off. If your going to go deeper to check stuff with out permission don't break stuff. Alignment came out fine though.

I came in on June 3rd 2024 to get an wheel alignment. I made an appointment the previous day for 11am. Upon handing the keys they told me they are working on a car right now and it would be 1 hour and mine would be another hour. Upon hearing it would only be two hours I waited there. After three hours I asked about the status of my car in which they told me that there is only one person qualified to do alignments and that they have not started working on my car nor do they have an ETA on when it will finish. No where in-between I dropped it off and then did they ever try to call or tell me that there have been delays. During this time I see them doing alignments on other cars that came in after me; mind you I had an appointment. My car finally began getting work at 4:30 and completed at 5. Six hours after I dropped it off with an appointment. When trying to pay I asked if they can compensate me with a discount in which the service manager said they could remove $10 dollars off the quoted price. Saying that's not enough I asked to speak to the store manager explaining the situation. Mel, the store manager told me that was all he can do too. Unsatisfied, with this decision I asked for a regional/district contact in which the two began getting aggressive. Mel the store manager told me to look it up myself refusing to give me even a name of the regional manager. He then told Frank to not give me a discount and charge me the full 129.99. Fed up after sitting there for 6 hours in which they never offered me even water, I paid and left.
I would not recommend coming here if you value your time or customer service as the workers there do not value yours.

I have two cars that we got lifetime alignment and it has worked out really well. It is nice to have a place to get my oil change and tire rotation. Sometimes they recommend fluid flushes which I am not sure that I need, but I like the air filter and cabin air replacement recommendations. Tire prices seem competitive. And they are open a lot of hours, including Sunday.

I assume that when I make an appointment for an oil change that it would take no more than an hour. After 2 hours I asked how much longer… no apologies. Just, “maybe another hour”. She became defensive when I suggested that maybe they not take appointments if they didn’t have the manpower to do this. Her response was, “well, we don’t know how long it takes, and we only have one person who’s been working on the same car since 8 this morning. I have no control”. Maybe a more professional courteous response would be an explanation that today is not a good day. Sorry for the inconvenience. Would you be able to come back another day? No one should have to wait 3 hours for a simple oil change. I left really annoyed and will go elsewhere for an oil change. I will not be returning to this Wheelworks.

HORRIBLE SERVICE ★
I had an appointment waited in my car from 2:45 PM to 5:40 PM so
can I get my car key back and then I left .
All I see their Indian friends park in front of the garage and talk to them , I guess don't need receptionist .
A few minutes later their car got pulled in to the garage and get services .
If you're from India maybe better and faster service ,
Fremont wheelworks totally different service now .
I'll never go there again
One of my friend told me you might consider start going to Pep Boys better quality work and customer service

Wheel works charges $21 for tire rotation. It is free in Costco and American tires. I will never change tires in Wheelworkd.
