“It's a shame that the American Cancer Society Discovery Shop has since closed down after being here in Fremont for over 25 years. I've been to this store multiple times, and even at their previous location in Irvington before they moved to this location in the Gateway Plaza. They always had stuff here for sale at reasonable prices and the staff here were very welcoming and friendly. It's sad that they are now closed. Shame on upper management for not giving this store a heads up that they had planned to close it. The owner of the shop had stated that they were given no prior notice that the store would be closing, therefore, could not do anything to try to save the shop location or find a new location. This place will be missed. The staff and volunteers will also be missed for their hard work and dedication over the years running the shop.”

Joes a great guy, nice to talk to and helpful, his store is full of goodies and has an interesting selection of eclectic products, lots of clothes, Knick knacks and cool vintage items and decor, all very well priced. It’s an awesome store with a great owner, definitely worth checking out.”
