I would recommend TAP Plastics to everyone! David, Mike, and team were so very polite, helpful, and extremely skilled in helping us to get our Indian Idol of Lord Ganesh mounted onto a new base, and framed with a transparent structure.
They spent a lot of time perfectly taking measurements, taking the idol off of its original mounting which was very very hard to do, then mounting the idol onto a new plastic white platform made by TAP Plastics, and then encasing it with a clear plastic cube (also made by TAP Plastics). They presented the idol with a very modern and clean look - which is what we wanted - simple and elegant. Everyone tells us, the idol looks better than the original encasing it came in. Very grateful to the team - thank you so much!
Will be coming to you with more projects for sure! The shop has a lot of cool and colorful items on display - making you want to visit it again and again!

Great customer service!!! I took the frame of my broken window and they take care of material and even they cut and trimmed it to exact size! I wanted to pay extra for better material they used and extra work they did but they refused to take money! I highly recommend this place.

Tap Plastics does offer a variety of products and services. The staff offered helpful suggestions and options for a small project and, because it was small, even made the part while I waited.

This place is the shining example of great customer service and old school craftsmanship!!! We had a very special sized signed bottle of champagne that needed a nice case. I called in the morning snd the gentleman on the phone assured me that they can do a custom case for my needs. When I brought my item in later in the day, David came out and helped me with my item. He took the proper measurements and made recommendations on what materials to use to make it look great. They were very helpful and nice and the job was finished even earlier then they had promised…we are lucky to have this location in Fremont and the folks in the shop are wonderful to deal with! Bring all your custom needs, they will take great care of you!

I needed a piece of 1/4" ABS cut to 9 3/4" x. 18 1/2". That cost was $22. I get that material prices have gone up and they have to make money on small pieces. Fair enough...no issue with that. I timed the fabrication guy in the back and from the time he picked up the raw material, measured, made the cuts and placed it in my hand, it was an impressive 41 seconds. Super cool. I then asked, "If I measure and mark 3 straight lines I need cut (2 of them under 5"), how much will that be? The guy looked right at me and said $25 labor. They used to charge $1 a cut for these type of straight cuts and eventually made it to just under $2 years later. He wanted $8.33 per cut!!! Based on what I saw moments beforehand(even when he had to measure) these 3 cuts, already marked and measured for him, would likely have only taken him 60 seconds total. Even if it took him 2 minutes, $25 for 2 minutes means he thought his time was worth $750/hr. You're good, but not that good. I can make them at home with what I have just as nicely in less than 10 minutes. My advice...buy your raw materials from them for one-off pieces, but don't rely on them to help you otherwise...it is highway robbery.

Called to ask a quick question as I was on my way there. Found out they were going to close in 10 minutes. Walked into the store five minutes before closing and was out two minutes before they were going to close. These guys are fast, know what they're doing, and had great customer service. I definitely don't make it a habit of trying to go in at the last second before a place closes but as a mama with two small kids in the car being turned away in that moment would've been hard. Thanks for helping me out! You have a loyal customer.

I came here to the location in Fremont to have a plastic barrier made for my handmade candle store kiosk in the Great Mall in Milpitas. The small kids kept poking their fingers in my candle wax time and time again, which got SOOOOOO f........n annoying. I gave them the measurements and they made exactly what I asked for in a great turnaround time. I plan to use them again.
