first off I'll say Kim is an all around nice person; friendly, courteous , and punctual.My car needed be towed and a new starter installed. Everything went good - start to finish. I highly recommend these guys.

OMG! Disregard the reviews from several years ago. It's a TOTALLY different shop, under TOALLY different OWNERSHIP. This shop was HIGHLY recommended to me by a friend who owns several foreign cars. My friend has his cars serviced here. I have been having PROBLEMS with my car for the past couple of years and the dealer couldn't find out what was going on. I couldn't even drive it. It's been sitting in my driveway since 2019. Owner Kim, an ASE Master Technician with 40+ years of experience, diagnosed, and FIXED my car, for just slightly more than what the dealer charges just for the diagnostic! I couldn't believe it. The dealer CLAIMED they couldn't find out what was wrong and even suggested that I trade it in - it's a 2007 with only 18,000 miles on it - because it's "unreliable." I think they just wanted it so they could resell it for a profit - of course after they fixed it. I also think they just wanted me to keep coming back, so that's why they never found what was wrong. Kim said 17 codes came up! 17! Why couldn't the dealer find them? WHY? Kim replaced the faulty part, and now I'm singing Willie Nelson's "On the Road Again." I couldn't be happier. I wholeheartedly recommend the New ROC Auto Repair. It's worth the drive from anywhere you are in the Bay Area.

The car would not start and had to be towed to my mechanic 3 miles away. Was told to wait 30 minutes, only to have the driver show up more than 2 hours later. The driver then charged $138 to tow my car 3 miles away. I need to get the invoice to reimburse it with my insurance, and after many phone calls and many months later, I still do not see the invoice. I was then told that they used a stub and had to call this guy on my own. The phone number they gave for the stub would not pick up the phone. I learned my lesson and got AAA.

First of all they came late by 1.5 hours. Have no clue who gave them 5 stars. Misleading. Do not use their services please. And they charged us a ton for towing to mechanic. No apologies. Nothing. Avoid this.
