Very beautiful store - it's a shame the older gentleman inside has such a rude and aggressive attitude. Not sure if he's the owner, but the previous review led me to believe that this is "Paula's" husband. Not even a hello when seeing possible customers enter the store, keep it up! That's a great way to drive business away.

I find that's it's quite easy for a shop owner to post 5-star reviews on their site, either having a friend or themselves write the over-the-top reviews. In this case, it hardly warrants a 1-star review to say the least. I have bought items there before & never have encountered such rude & abrasive behavior as I recently did with her. I must say that I've only dealt with the gentleman there & not this woman named Paula, who clearly pointed out that "SHE" owned the store & not her husband. So brash & unfriendly was she, that when I simply approached the counter & politely inquired "what the best price" was on a particular item, she went into hysterics. She needs to chill. I was chastised & scolded about how she had to pay the rent & couldn't discount anything, despite items just to my left posted at 15% off!! I was looking for $30 off on a $150 piece.Trust me, I'll NEVER go back or refer anyone to "Paula's Grandtiques" that just so happens to have "SALE" signs posted outside. Crazy!!!!

I've been in this store twice and was ignored both times by the man working there while other customers were greeted and being helped. Even if I found something I wanted to buy in this store, I wouldn't, due to the poor customer service. Do yourself a favor and walk past this store.

Yesterday I shopped at Paula's Grandtiques at beautiful Niles. The store was big, clean and well organized. Owners were extremely friendly. I purchased few lovely items and surprised that everything in the store was very reasonably priced (best prices I've ever seen in an Antiquarian Store.) The inventory is large so I'll be patronizing this store from time to time to find more treasures. Also there were numerous Antiquarian Stores on the Main Street but the heatwave didn't let me to visit them! Overall it was an excellent experience on a very hot Sunday.

Have bought a few things from this shop! My favorite purchase was a fully functional cuckoo clock, for $35.00! What?!?! Can’t find that price in most other places, *except Olde Towne antiques mall
