Love love love!! So satisfying to have my kids (toddler and TK) at Palm academy. The teachers are very caring. My kids love the food here - They have variety and always very kind to share additional evening snacks. Specially recommend Sasmita ma’am and Ms. Sheila for the TK session. My daughter’s learning curve has way beyond excelled. A lot of times she has surprised us with what she has learnt and knows! Totally, love it! I am definitely having my kids continue here in the future too!Thank you Ruth Ma’am for your amazing team!

Update: the director, Ruth also threatened me saying if I do not take this review out, she will file “child abuse” complaint against me and my husband and will terminate both my children right away! She dismissed both my children without any notice, she said if you do not remove the review, both the children needs to picked up right away! She also did not refund the tuition fora by of children. The director, Ruth is ABSOLUTELY IRRESPONSIBLE! she behaved nice before having both my children. After both my children got enrolled, she started behaving completely irresponsible!-She and her driver forgot to pick up my 5 year old kindergartener from the school. That was the first day at school and my daughter was so afraid.-Another child continuously bullied my daughter and one day cut her hair, the other day cut her skin with a scissor but she did nothing ever after I placed multiple written complaints. Rather she said it was an accident.-No good teacher stay in this place because of her behavior! There is a new teacher almost every month. She hanged up phone during the conversation multiple times.Today, I missed a call from palm academy, and called back to know did anything happen to any of my kid? She said very rudely, I didn’t call you. I don’t know. Just Check the app and hanged up while I was still talking. After that I called her multiple times from my phone and she didn’t receive. When I called from my work phone/ unknown number, then she received right away! After she realized it’s me she said I can’t talk right now and hanged up again! Later I realized that my 1 year old has 102 F fever.WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO EVEN MY ENEMY!

We have loved our experience at Palm Academy! Miss Ruth has been very attentive and well coming to us during the past year and a half we have been going there. Our son started there at 8 months old and received excellent care in the Infant Room from Miss Nicole, Miss Liping, and other teachers. He learned so much in the infant room, including sign language and how to play with others. We also had an excellent experience in the Toddler Room with Miss Nicole, Miss Karen, and the other teachers. We were impressed with how much our son learned, including the ABCs, how to count to 10, colors, shapes, and days of the week. They also had fun arts and crafts activities and dance parties. We are thankful for the staff's care and attention to our son and are looking forward to sending our daughter there soon.

4 of my kids are currently at Palm and all have been here since they were infant. My oldest is now in 5th grade and still enjoys going to Palm after school, so do her younger siblings 3rd and 1st grader. My youngest is in the toddler class with Ms. Nicole and Ms. Karen and is happy every time we drop off and pick him up.We are grateful for the teachers at Palm for taking good care of our children. They are very kind, patient, and loving. We highly recommend this facility to other families.

Kid was sent to the Palm Academy at 2 month old. It’s one of the best daycare and toddler class I have visited among the area. Each room is equipped with plenty of windows and exits which ensures the safety. It’s not commonly seen in daycares or after schools in Fremont .Teachers here are patient and responsive. They have good relationships so you will find them support each other during break or lunch time. That means there will always be someone keeping an eye on your child. My kid enjoyed the class so much and learned lots of baby sign language which allows us to know their needs easier compared to other children with the same age.The App they are using, Brightwheel, also provides the parents a chance to get the detailed records for kids’ school life. Believe me, you will love it as much as we do when you see the pictures of your happy kid in the app.The transition from infant room to toddler room was planned well and smooth. We cant say enough how much we appreciate the teachers and administrators in Palm Academy.

This review is for the Infant Room. At the time of writing this review, my child is 17 months and has been in daycare for almost 1 year. When I was searching for a daycare, I was looking for a place that is safe and keeps my baby stimulated and happy, so I’ll go through each of these topics. For safety, I haven’t seen anything that concerns me. All the toys that they put out seem age appropriate. The teacher-to-infant ratio is always met. They fill out injury reports if anything does happen and nothing major has ever been reported for my child (another child accidentally scratched mine when playing with toys for example). The teachers also diligently applied eye drops when my child was recovering from a non-contagious eye infection. They followed the Covid local guidelines when a child tested positive and luckily so far my child has not gotten Covid. For stimulation, I love how the teachers keep the kids engaged with a variety of activities. They have music time, playing with musical instruments, dancing, singing, toys, arts and crafts like painting, outdoor playtime, learning sign language, reading books, learning colors, and probably more than I’m missing. My child is definitely learning and hitting all of her developmental milestones.I get asked often if my child likes daycare, and I’m positive she loves it. She is always hugging her teachers. The teachers send pictures and videos throughout the day and she always looks happy (or mischievous). One recommendation that some parents have is to do a “surprise” visit during the middle of the day to see if the kids are happy/the teachers are doing what they are supposed to be doing - I didn’t deliberately do a surprise visit, but I did do early afternoon pickups for a short period and even now I pick up her up a bit earlier than most parents, and everything is as expected - the rooms have large windows so you can see them when you walk up and the kids are happy. Of course there are times when someone is crying (they’re babies after all) but nothing alarming where it looks like a baby has been crying for a long time, and the teachers are always holding the baby to comfort them. The teachers seem to genuinely love the kids and get excited as much as the parents do about their progression in development.I’ve seen complaints for all daycares that they are greedy money-grabbing places - I literally don’t know why people complain about this. The teachers need to be paid, the facilities need maintenance, etc. At Palm, I’ve never had surprise fees, just the monthly tuition. I think people are surprised by what the rules are when they pull their child out of the daycare so ask about how far in advance you have to give notice, if the place allows for a trial period, what happen when the child is sick, you go on vacation, etc. so you aren’t caught off guard by what you need to pay.For Palm Academy specifically, in various parent groups, people will say something like, there must be something wrong with that place because they have had citations. While I agree that citations aren’t great, if you actually take the time to read what the citations were, in my opinion, they aren’t concerning at all. All the citations happened years ago and they were on minor issues unrelated to safety. You can also talk to the staff about them so you can make an informed decision instead of relying on a judgmental parent who has never even visited the place.Go check it out, say hi to the bunnies and cat, and I hope your baby will fit in like mine did.Update:After putting my first child at Palm Academy and had a good experience, I of course picked Palm for my second child. Glad Ms. Liping is still there. Love the pictures and videos they send everyday through the app. My baby is always smiling and having a good time.

We sent our son to Palm Academy for both the infant class (when he was 10 months old) and the toddler class (until he was 2 years and 3 months old) when we decided to move out of Fremont and to a different city.We had a great experience at Palm and all the teachers that he had were loving and took great care of our son. The toddler class has a very interactive and fun curriculum (the teacher shared with us the weekly teaching plans); the meals are diverse with different kinds of food, and the school has a nice outdoor play area. Our son made great friends and ask to go to school even during the weekend.

Our son has been at palm academy since he was 4 months old (now 10 months). The teachers take good care of him and have a daily routine, morning song/play, nap, lunch, nap, snack, play, sometimes nap. I really appreciate communication through the brightwheel app, it makes you feel confident to see the teachers singing and playing with the kids. You can tell the teachers really care for him. Also, the babies are so cute and wave at the big window when I come to pick him up.

*Little Cesar’s and YouTube *Normally I would give this place a three star, but I think Google map reviews are positively biased and I encourage you to read yelp. Our toddler was there for a month earlier this year. We were sold on the “mostly organic”, freshly made food from the kitchen except for some exceptions like frozen dumplings, and the teachers’ gentle parenting style before we started. On day 1, we came back in the afternoon since we’d forgotten to give her blanket. And we see a staff rolling a cart of little Cesar’s pizza around the classrooms. When we ask the director Ruth, she counters us by saying Little Cesar’s is fresh. Well, our own 1 year old’s tummy had gotten upset when we’d tried giving her that pizza, and it was very strange to see that as an exception to their menu. I really can’t imagine feeding one year olds this kind of junk food every single week.I believe Ruth was going to remove it from the menu, or make their pizzas at the kitchen but not sure if the little Cesar remains. Then there were other smaller additive things, like in the first day, when we tried to talk to the assistant director that we didn’t hear back all day on our kid, she snapped at us that it’s not her job to address our concerns but teachers’. (Turns out the main teacher was absent, and assistant teachers or staff didn’t usually post about the kids). And the classroom teacher (or helper, as they called them) not only didn’t smile but was rude to us, and curt with kids to the point of our kid being close to tears. She never warmed up to that teacher. Then, the kids not being able to play in the bigger playground even if they were ready for it, we got random artwork back that couldn’t possibly have been made by a one year old, and of course that famous “interactive learning screen”. During rainy days, we found out kids didn’t just get a few minutes but IIRC over an hour. On confronting Ruth, she ‘clarified’ that this was an interactive educational tool common in schools, and on rainy days since they couldn’t take kids out they used it for (much) longer.Oh, ok… so the kids can’t do other activities indoors? The bigger thing or final straw for us, was when we came to pick her up early one evening and saw the kids all sitting glued to YouTube on that “interactive screen which is not a TV”. The teacher told us it had only been a few minutes, but at this point, seeing the vehemently defended “interactive screen which is not a tv” being used, as a TV, we couldn’t believe them anymore and were done.Palm academy did keep our full deposit - which is tough but we had signed the paperwork, so oh well. And they did return the additional month money they’d accidentally charged us. To also give credit to the main toddler school teacher Miss Diana, she was caring and gentle, updated the app, and did try to educate the kids. But the above incidents meant we just couldn’t trust them. Even if they’d been upfront about all these things , we could maybe have understood that for this lesser price, you get more of a holding school with tv and pizza than an immersive learning environment. But the lies / hidden information and rudeness were the hard part.

Our older son has attended Palm since he was three months old, and his teachers are super loving, caring, and passionate about what they do. When he turned 18 months old and moved to the toddler room, we were relieved that we didn't have to bring him snacks and lunches daily like when he was in the infant room as my husband and I worked full-time. My son can be a picky eater, but surprisingly, he loves the variety of nutritious foods they offer, especially the fresh fruits and vegetables, which is terrific. My son is now a good eater, finishing his lunch and snacks daily and asking for more. I am so happy. It is a lot of work and effort that Palm puts into offering snacks and lunches for their students. Before Palm, we visited many schools; most would need you to bring your lunches, and for those who provided lunches, it cost a lot more, and there were fewer child-friendly options than we see here. We are grateful and will be sending our second child to Palm soon.

It is a very bad school and kindergarten, they do not take good care of the children and they give them unhealthy food, snacks with sugar. and the teachers say they are kind but the truth is they yell at them a lot and in the area for babies the nurseries keep them dirty parents please open your eyes and realize where and with whom you leave your children please poor children suffer poor nutrition and There is no ijiene and things are out of date I wouldn't even leave my girl in that place
