The workers here are some of the nicest, sweetest, easiest to-talk-to people you'll ever meet. Great sandwiches & smoothies. Competitive pricing with hard liquor/tobacco. They also get fresh tamales from time to time. What is there not to like.

Great local business. Prices and selection are great, and much faster in/out than big stores. Also great catered lunches through their deli. Very nice folks

The sandwiches here are great and fairly priced. I stopped by here in the morning very quickly and got one if the premade ones. It was only $2.99 and it was great. The freshly made sandwiches are worth getting as well if you have the time. The worker is very friendly and will accommodate your every request. I tried something new today here too. I saw the Baklava everywhere in the store, and I asked the cashier if it was made in house. They make them fresh every other day, so I wanted to try it. It was delicious; I would recommend trying it out. He said once you have one, you have to eat another. And that was very true.

If you find yourself in Fremont California, do yourself a favor and go to this deli/store. The woman behind the counter who rings you up is the sweetest woman you'll ever meet. The young lady behind the deli counter makes some of the best sandwiches I've ever had. Everything was fresh, she was so quick & she was so friendly. The little corner store is quaint, has everything you need AS well as what you didn't realize you needed which was FRESH TAMALES! These were amazing as well! We'll definitely be back here!

BUYER BEWARE!!!! My niece went in and bought some baklava, used her credit card and when she asked for a receipt she was told by the cashier the receipt machine was broken. She didn't think anything about it until she got home and checked her account that she had been charge $118.00!!! It was good but it wasn't that good! When I looked the business up I see where others have had the same thing happen and the store refuses to make it right.

Came here after eating across the street at Skillet'z. We wanted some beverages and some Super Lotto entries, why not take a swing at over $1 BILLION DOLLARS (insert Dr. Evil laugh). I found this to be a fantastic family-run local institution of a small grocery market / deli / liquor / wine / spirits. One stop shopping! My eyes were also opened to a new entrant into the hard seltzer category, unbeknownst to me, Death Row records teamed up with Happy Dad to create a grape flavor hard seltzer. Who knew!? The lady working the register, whom I will call "Mom" will try to sell you baklava which she markets as being HAND MADE by her, with the upsell of using local honey. I LOVE baklava, but I also just gorged on breakfast, so I had to regretfully pass. I enjoyed the vibe here, don't hesitate to stop in and experience family-run values and attention to detail.

They put expired and sour milk on the shelves. The “fridges” they put yogurt and butter in are hot when you put your hand in them. Good selection on craft beer.

Little gem shines bright in this small hidden oasis. Mr. Mikey's is nestled at the edge of town in the quaint family friendly Niles neighborhood. Old time charm with modern conveniences, it's a true grocery and general store. Whether you're picking up a carton of milk, ordering a made to order sandwich from the deli, selecting a fresh muffin, needing to find ant spray, cleaning supplies, trash bags and or firewood - they have it all. Yes, firewood! It's a family owned and operated storefront with amazing customer service. Stop by when you pass through the beautiful historic hidden gem neighborhood of Niles.

I went to this store after reading all these good reviews in yelp. What I found was very ordinary over priced sandwich which tastes worse than my home made ones. Not recommended.

Love Mikey's for their snack and beverage selection but be wary of the baked goods by the register because who knows how long they sit there for. Stopped by yesterday for some snacks and impulse bought a blueberry muffin but didn't discover it had mold on it until after I took a couple bites.

They have a nice variety of items. HOWEVER, they don't label prices and then way overcharge or give inconsistent prices each time. One time they also tried to short change me : /
