What is not to like about Midnight Garage?They are communicative, transparent about their work and are fairly priced. Miguel is very knowledgeable about his craft and as an off roader himself, he was able to give recommendations for next steps for my build.I’m definitely coming back for any additional work I need on my truck.Plus his shop had the friendliest shop dog I’ve met so far!

Miguel has done work on my Jeep Wrangler and 59 Bel Air, he has extensive knowledge and professionalism along with great customer service. Not too many honest mechanics out there. He's definitely a class above the rest. Highly recommended!!

Miguel is great! Added a custom hood to my Bronco. Took care of ordering it, fitting, working with paint shop to color match, and making sure everything was perfect.Also spent some time showing me his own Bronco and gave lots of ideas. Second project was to add an onboard ARB air compressor and run tubes to all wheel wells. Really convenient to quickly air up all tires.Very easy to work with and treats you like a number 1 customer.

Miguel who is Owner/Operator of the Garage is awesome! Super knowledgeable and is upfront with suggestions, quality and has the best prices in the bay area! He went through different options for suspension upgrades for my 21' Toyota Tacoma and doesn't try to upsell you on something you don't need. Very friendly, reliable and great quality of work and takes pride in his Craft. Definitely recommend him for all your Upgrade in suspension, classic cars, adding any type of over-landing upgrades. 5 out 5 stars

Miguel and his shop are experts and perfectionists at what he does. He has helped me customize my Jeep Wrangler starting from amazing custom work on lights, dual battery and radio to installing a brand new suspension lift , under armor, wheels and tires. Miguel being an off-roader himself knows what products work and don't work,and as such provides his honest recommendations on the products and takes extra care to ensure the customer is always satisfied. I recommend him highly if you ever need any work done on your car.

Midnight Garage is an excellent business to enhance your car. I was referred to there ship by OCDetailing in Fremont who installed my XPEL Stealth Wrap. Miguel and his team provided the service I needed to enhance the suspension of my 2021 Tesla Model S Plaid. Please see see the before and after pictures. I drove an hour to get my Icon coilovers rebuilt and it was well worth it. I found Midnight Garage on yelp and I reached out to Miguel through yelp and requested a quote for rebuilding the coilovers on my 4runner. He got back to me within the same day and was one of the only shops where I could take my truck, have them pull off the shocks and rebuild them in house the same day. Miguel had me back on the road within 2-3 hours and the truck drives great. I would definitely recommend anyone with an aftermarket suspension to check out this shop. Great and timely service and great price.

HANDS DOWN THE BEST PLACE IN FREMONT... Miguel and his team are incredible, honest,humble, reliable. I can't find enough great things to say about them. I brought my Tesla Model 3 Performance to upgrade my suspension. They installed coil overs, break rotors, stainless steel break lines, break master cylinder, and rear camber arms. I got quotes from other two shops and he was half the price from the other quotes. I am super happy with they quality and professional work. They have earned my trust and business for my future automotive needs. If you are looking for a honest and reliable shop, look no further. 100% recommended Miguel is the man!

Miguel's team is great, friendly and not to mention great quality of the work. I've been here 3 times and have been super satisfied with their work/craftsmanship. The only thing is that don't expect for a call back or response right away. Definitely 5-Star for the quality of work and for their price however, customer communication certainly needs improvement.

This is my second time using Midnight garage for my 4runner. The first time was good with no issues, unfortunately this time around was not as good.I really wanted to leave a 5 star review but I have to be honest in hopes that it'll make the owner better for future customers.I requested Miguel's services to install a front bumper, lift kit, new tires, light bar, diff breather kit, and new wheels on my 21' 4runner.I'll list the cons first.Cons:Communication was difficult at times, long periods would go without hearing back from questions or requests. Not the biggest problem but communication is key with customers.Timing was a bigger problem for me, we agreed on a drop off date of Thursday with a Friday afternoon pick up. Upon arriving Thursday I was informed the pick up would have to be Saturday afternoon. Things happen so I understand. However, it was further delayed to 6pm that Saturday due to Miguel not having started the work until the day of. That means my car sat there 2 days while I could have used it back home since it was not being worked on. Again, communication.Most of the work was good, but after inspecting it further after pick up, I noticed a couple flaws, one being a cut on my bumper that is visible beyond where it needed to be cut. I'll attach a pic. While it may not be a huge deal, I'm paying a decent amount of money so it's fair to expect a better outcome. I now have to look at this imperfection every time I walk past my car.The trim that outlines the bumper cut is uneven on the sides so it leads me to believe the cut isn't equal, so I will have to pull off the bumper and trim and see what is underneath.I also requested Miguel to save the front valance since I had someone willing to buy it, he cut it off instead. Granted he discounted the price I intended to sale it for so I appreciate him making it right.I also requested my fenders not be cut for tire fitment. My wife pointed out that they were in fact cut, also very rough and uneven lines.I tested my light bar which is installed on the bumper and it seems to point down to the ground, so I don't think Miguel checked the alignment. After looking at it more, it does appear to be slightly tilted down so I'll have to remove the bumper regardless to take care of it.Pros:Lift is solid, appears level with a good alignment. Miguel did express some concern about the alignment not being perfect but so far it has been good to us.Diff kit appears to be installed flawlessly.Tire and wheels are good to go.Overall I like Miguel and wish him well in his business, but considering how much I paid, I would have expected better service. I feel like he rushed my project.I can't say I'll come back based on this experience but perhaps we can all take it as a learning experience.

I have a very low tolerance for auto shops nowadays since it's very hard to find good ones that can be trusted. I called this place due to 5 stars to a relatively small sample size of reviews. The person who answered the phone sounded friendly and said that they can absolutely help me with my catback installation. Great! He then says he may not be able to book me in until the following week. But requested me to send him pictures of my exhaust and he'll get back with me. I sent him a few messages with pictures. And then silence. It's been 2 weeks and no reply nothing. If a shop can't even make sure to keep up with their follow up and communication then that is a red flag for me. There are certain levels to attention to detail just like everything else. This shop has it very low.

Wanted to get a TDR Pro grille put on my 2019 RAV4 and Miguel was the man. He had me in & out within a hour and a half. I drove all the way from Vacaville for his service. Super happy how everything came out ! Super cool guy and he does great wprk
