This marked my first visit to Mark's Transmission, now formally known as MTS Transmission, and I must admit, I've never had a better experience dealing with mechanics. Initially, I took my Jeep Wrangler to the dealership, where they proposed replacing the entire rear differential at a steep price. However, upon a recommendation, I visited MTS Transmission, and it turned out to be the best decision I could have made. Mark was exceptionally pleasant and patient. He took the time to inspect my Jeep thoroughly and provided a detailed explanation of the issue. Contrary to the dealership's recommendation, it was determined that my Jeep didn't require a full rear differential replacement, but rather just the rear differential carrier, along with the installation of new side bearings and rear axle bearings, which resulted in a much more reasonable overall cost. I will certainly return in the future. Many thanks to Mark and his team for their assistance and efforts in getting my Jeep back on the road.

Came here to get my transmission diagnosed after having an error code. Mark and the team were able to get it fixed quickly. Feel like I can trust this shop and honestly that's more important to me than anything else.

I drive for a living so my car is my business and it is important that I trust the people working on it. Mark and his brothers are the best in the Bay Area. Very down to earth people. Someone I could trust was very very important to me and I found it with Mark and his brothers. I had a noise coming from my transmission and had it looked at by several transmission services professionals here in the Fremont area. One guy told me my transmission was a CVT, I asked him how he know that and he said we just know. So he sent me off and told me just drive it till it gives out and comeback when you need a new one. That very same day I went to Marks and asked them "Do I have a CVT transmission?" They knew from years of experience that Toyota puts a sticker on the inside of the drivers door that says what transmission the car has and guess what... "It wasn't a CVT!" on top of that they drove my car with me in it, hooked up a diagnostic tool and explained to me what they were looking for and why they were looking for it. I don't understand cars but I do greatly appreciate them explaining to me what they were looking for. I'll keep the story short. Ultimately, they didn't sell me a new transmission, they had an additive that makes the transmission fluid more sticky and in my particular case that's what they recommend. That same day, I had that done and bam. My transmission felt like brand new again. Mark and his brothers have earned my business for life. Anything I need related to my engine or transmission they will be the first ones I call. No second and third opinions needed. I trust that what they tell me will be their best recommendation for whatever it is that I need. Mark and brothers, I bless your business with love, light and abundance. May you prosper in all ways. Mark the owner is a man of his word! He is "old school", I can't be happier with Mark, Al and the team, they went the extra mile to fix a real problem, an electrical bug that no one could find or fix on my diesel truck. He didn't BS me like everyone else did, he just ran through EVERYTHING and got the job done! These guys are true master mechanics that are honest, something you will never find in the business unfortunately. My repairs were no joke, potentially $10K, use these guys for anything if you want the best service! Thank You Mark!!!

Absolute gem of a transmission shop. Very fair priced, but also you know that you are not going to get scammed here. I strongly advice you check out this “ma and pa” style shop instead of going to the AAMCO shop in fremont

This was my first time doing business with Mark's Transmisson it was an absolute God send that I was under their care. Mark, Al and Able conducted a diagnostic and found out the vehicle I just purchased was unsafe to drive for a multitude of reasons. Not only did these three gentlemen take pictures and sit down and discussed each problem; they even drove my unsafe vehicle home for me so I didn't have to occur towing fees. These men actually care about their patrons and uphold a level of integrity that is to be highly commended. They genuinely care about there customers. I highly recommend their services.
