“The main reason I took a star off is because when I walked into the bathroom, there was a huge hairy spider in the bathtub waiting to greet me. Not a daddy long legs...the kind that you don't simply catch in a tissue and throw away. Being arachnaphobic, this was a nightmare for me. I took the trash can, filled it with water and poured it into the bathtub and put it down the drain. In all my years of staying at hotels of all kinds, this is the first time I've ever had a spider in my room. Now that's not to say it's completely the responsibility of housekeeping to do pest control but the last thing I wanted to see in my room was a spider. I spent the rest of the evening paranoid that there would be another one.Despite that, everything else was perfect. The room was amazingly spacious and while I've read reviews from others mentioning the sound of the freeway being a bad thing, I didn't notice it at all and my room was facing the freeway. For it being a weekend, I was pleasantly surprised that there was no noisy neighbors or loud TV/music. It was perfect for me to get a good night's rest. I wish I didn't have to be out the door so early the following morning, I would have loved to try their hot breakfast, which is one of the main reasons why I stay at Holiday Inn Express properties.I've read other negative reviews about the property, including there being some kind of issue with flies at the entrance (?) but I didn't experience any of what previous reviews have mentioned so that likely means they addressed those issues. Either way, I would stay here again (although I might bring a can of Raid next time, haha, we'll see!).”

“I have stayed in many Fremont hotels in my travels over the years. Once I found The Mission Peak Lodge, it is the only place I stay in Fremont. Amy and her staff have always provided a safe clean room at the best price in town. I have left my laptop charging cord and Amy had it on my return. Take a walk across the street at Ohlone College or keep going up Mission Peak.Hope you enjoy your stay as I always do.”

“It’s a nice clean quiet place to stay at a very reasonable price. Lots of extra amenities like usb chargers, spot lamps, etc. were available in the room too.The beds are comfortable. The warm water works. The room has a Kuerig coffee maker so you use your own favorite pod. Half and half creamers are available in the lobby. Coffee and hot water are available in the lobby. The gym works great too. Simple gym with several treadmills, ellipticals, and dumbbells. The morning breakfast is a good deal included with the room. The menu may change but they had eggs, sausages, cereal, oatmeal, coffee, and more. The only disappointment we had was the pool being closed. We had chose this hotel for having a swimming pool.Rooms: Room was clean and quiet.Walkability: No restaurant nearby of walking distance.Food & drinks: A nice breakfast is included. There is a snack bar shop selling snacks and drinks in the lobby.Coffee and hot water are available in the lobby too.”

“Tucked away in a corner just off the highway. Stayed here for a few days—great service, kind staff, and a nice hot breakfast every day! One note for recent/upcoming guests that the road closure (construction zone!) sign as you turn onto Landing Pkwy is a bit misleading, but you are still able to get all the way to the hotel before the road closure begins!”

“There are very friendly staff and the housekeepers did a great job cleaning.
I've been to many hotels in the US, but this hotel was the best. Elite status gives you a $10 daily voucher, and they always responded kindly and quickly when I had any questions.

Rooms: Very clean and maintained

Food and drinks: Overall great”

“I’ve stayed here every year since 1980 -- from 1 or 2 nights to a week or more. For me, it’s perfectly located, accommodating and has a very friendly staff. The rooms are clean, well appointed, well maintained, and reasonably priced. They have a small gym that’s reasonably equipped, and a beautiful pool, hot tub, and patio with lounges, tables, chairs, and umbrellas surrounded by lovely vegetation (the Garden Court).

CONS: Bathtub VERY slippery -- an accident waiting to happen. Toilets are from the 70’s: very low seat height and high water level and waste -- need modern chair height 1-piece 1.3 GPF style.

Breakfast not recommended: cheapest brand powdered scrambled eggs, bacon dripping with grease and much of it burnt; very high fat sausage links (horrible taste). Limited cereals; not enough milk. Limited fresh fruit, if any; No yogurt, no oatmeal. Orange juice watered down; Apple juice was better. Coffee is horrible, but they do have a fresh ground, single cup coffer maker in the lobby – that was a plus. They do have a single waffle maker but makes donut size waffles. They offer plain white and wheat bread for making tasteless toast but they did have some breakfast pastries. Best choice for me was the biscuits and gravy.

CLOSING COMMENT/SUGGESTION: The services, including breakfast and evening social they had prior to COVID (2020) were a better experience than what’s offered today. Suggest BW revisit the history and occupancy rates over the years. As a minimum, upgrade the breakfast: add more choices and some fresh fruit; add some anti-slip strips in the bathtub and upgrade the toilets: 1-piece chair height. Meanwhile, will I keep coming here? Yes.”

“There is a lot to be said for courtesy and hard work and operating on a budget when it comes to hospitality! Good Nite Inn affords me the opportunity to stick close to the epicenter of my work and not have a grueling commute every day! As a self-employed individual with one employee this hotel provides an immense service to me. They do it with hard work courtesy and a determination to serve the guest every day in every way possible for a small hotel. The niche they fill is not only needed but this hotel does it with grace and superior front desk representatives. Day after day night after night. Many small hotels don’t even staff their front desks 24 hours a day. You won’t find a spa or a gym or countless amenities like the Ritz Carlton but what you will find are hard working courteous front desk managers like Monica Bin Manu and crew that go above and beyond what even the luxury market seem to can afford…great attitudes, smiles and sincere thanks for staying even from the ever forgotten housekeeping staff that bend their backs every day to make sure we the guests are booked into immaculate and uber sanitized rooms. Good Nite Inn Fremont…Bravo! Bravo for a job well done”

“Very nice hotel, great service and accommodations. Great place to stop during a business trip to Silicon Valley. Nice value for $$. Better ROI than staying downtown ?.”

“Excellent place to stay, surprisingly quiet despite its proximity to I-680. The staff is friendly and accommodating, allowing me to check in early at no extra cost. The room is comfortable with a great bed and pillows, plus the convenience of cooking facilities and a full-size fridge. Free parking is a bonus, and it's conveniently located near stores like Safeway. Within walking distance of restaurants and cafes, my overall experience was fantastic, and I would return without hesitation. Despite a few issues with my key card, the staff was consistently kind, apologetic, and helpful. They were very accommodating, and I appreciated their understanding when I extended my stay and requested a cleaning.Rooms: Embrace simplicity in my cozy room – it may not be a fancy hotel, but it's a comfortable retreat that welcomes you with warmth and practicality, creating a home away from home.Walkability: Enjoy the convenience of walkability with a gas station, cafe, and grocery stores just steps away – making every stroll a blend of fuel, caffeine, and groceries in a single neighborhood.”

“This is very reasonably priced. The rooms have all basic amenities and very big in size. There is plenty of parking, study table and tv in room along with nice bedding.
Missing items in the room which should be for a good experience are a couch, microwave, fridge.
TVs are old so no connection to Netflix or YouTube etc.”

“Clean and Convenient!!!
The rooms are nice and clean with remodelled bathrooms. Hotel is usually very quiet/peaceful and very convenient being walking distance from Warm Springs BART and next to a strip mall with a fantastic Asian supermarket and lots of restaurants.”

“I don't frequent there as often as I used to but I still love this place. They have had many updates to the property. New laundry facility and canteen area. As well as a few other updates to the parking lots. New owners and better management which says a lot because the customer service here has always been great. This place is conveniently located right off the 880 freeway and next to a little shopping center offering a handful of restaurants a donut shop a liquor store and a Lucky's grocery store. About 2 or 3 blocks away from a nice quiet lovely park right off of Paseo Padre. Quarry lakes for fishing and walking and Coyote hills for hiking are both about a 10 minute drive away.”

“I’d like to say that Melanie at the front desk has been very great to me and has always helped me with everything I’ve needed. She remembers my name and who I am.Many times, I’ve had packages sent to the front office, and she would keep them safe for me.I’d come back to this location anytime and I always feel welcomed.Much appreciated!Thank you! ?”

“Great location and wonderful staff. The hotel could use some upgrades but overall it was a good experience. Very decent-sized room. The tub was rusted at the drain area and the water drained out at a very slow rate, so you can have a shower and bath at the same time. The shampoo dispenser was empty. No blow-dryers here.I found the floor had quite a few stain spots on it.The laundry machine worked great, but only one machine was online the other said it was in use but it wasn't. They did call I believe and have it corrected as it was running on our next trip to the laundry room.Overall I would stay here again, as the staff were very pleasant to deal with and prices were very reasonable.”
