Tang and Johnny were amazing. They were super fast and efficient. They moved all our furniture and nothing was break or damaged. They were super communicative and helpful throughout the process. I would recommend to anyone moving and want a hassle free move

I recently hired Golden Eagle Moving company to help me move from San Jose to Santa Clara. I am very satisfied with their services. They were quick and efficient with the loading, hard working, and got the move done hassle free and at a good price point. I highly recommend their services to anyone looking for a moving company!

!!!!DO NOT HIRE!!! 不要雇用We had every box label in English, Chinese and colors. They could not follow simple instructions told to them in English or Chinese. They broke my Star Link system. They refuse to pay for the broken system. I am disabled and I was moving things, on my Segway, I did not want them to move. They put boxes, in my way, that I had been going back in forth on when they was eating the lunch we bought them and I fell down. I have emailed them I get, there must be some misunderstanding, please call me and let's talk! No there are no misunderstanding. The movers refused to finish the job! They said the truck was full, when I would not allow them to move my tools. They got mad at me. the guy with the tattoos was screaming in Chinese, and said truck Full, we go now. They had 8 - 50 gallon boxes in the truck full of their boxes, that was not needed. I had all of stuff in plastic containers. It took 3 people, 30 minutes to take off 4 kitchen table legs, legs that did not needed taken off. And they wrapped everything, somethings did not needed wrapped. The table was not put back together. Someone put a stand up air conditioner, on top of of a 27 gallon container! It took a month to put all of the boxes that said Garage, into the garage, because the garage boxes was in every room, in the house. They put two end tables on top of each table and did not take the table off. I am disabled. How am I supposed to move an air conditioner or an end table?There is NO misunderstanding! This is a Hate Crime! Too bad I can not take you to court for this!I have been so upset from this move, it has taken me 3 months to write normal words, instead of dropping an F bomb with every other word! Moving is stressful! These people will give you an aneurysm from their game. Stupid people do not do this! If you are going to steal from someone you make sure all of there stuff is all mixed up. You do not know where anything is. One the truck, that left 10 minutes before me, on a 15 minute drive, disappeared when I was following behind both trucks. The last truck pulled in 5 minutes after I got home. The day after they moved us. I was looking for a container that said Socks, on all 4 sides, in 2 different languages and color. It took me an hour. I found my sock container, in the back yard, next to the fence. Not even close to my bedroom.It took 4 hours longer to move me than they estimated. They still not not finish the job. I had to pay 2 guys from Home Depot to finish the job. It took 2 guys 4 hours. When they was emptying the truck. 2 guys are walking with a 4'x3'x 1/2" foam insulation, followed by a guy with a rake and a broom. OMG! When they asked me for a tip and they said, we understand if you do not give us a tip. I gave them a tip. But not as much as they wanted. They got upset. I am so glad I did not do something stupid, that would have put me in jail. Save yourself the stress. Hire someone else! You do not need the stress!

Victor, Tang and Zhu were amazing. After 2 other moving companies showed up and walked away, Golden Eagle showed up and did the job. It was hard work and a 9 hour day, and I never saw Tang Zhu sit down (except for the drive ) and they just kept moving. When the storage unit was too small, they just stacked things higher and made it work. Whenever there was a hiccup, victor answered his phone and responded to texts immediately. I recommend Golden Eagle without reservation. Thanks, Brandona

This company was awesome with our move. I thought it would take six hours to move us, they did it in four. They wrapped a protected our items thoroughly, and even moved an elliptical machine for us. Moving is stressful, but Jessica was very responsive to communicate with which made this day easier on us. Recommend highly!

Just finished using the service here, I was moving away to a different city and just needed help there loading a U-Haul truck. I have to say although Victor, at first, was good and accommodating unfortunately I can't say the same about his movers. I had an $1800 tv break due to the incompetence of the movers. I don't know why in the world they thought wrapping my tv inside a mattress would be a good idea. I even mentioned it, my sister mentioned it, but we were dismissed.
They half wrapped the tv and left the corners exposed, the tv was bigger than the mattress. When unwrapping it we noticed one of the corners broke, the more we inspected the more we saw broken (the tv bent in a subtle u shape). I specifically asked the movers to be safe with the TV, unfortunately the opposite was done and now I feel robbed of not only $1800 dollars that the TV cost but the almost $500 dollars for the 2 hours of work.
This is absolutely not okay, whatever you do please hire movers who actually know what they're doing. These guys used my tools to take things apart as well, you'd think "professional movers" would have a tool box. They showed up late as well and were upset that their tip wasn’t big enough (which in hindsight) I wish I never gave them anything at all. I reached out to Victor with all these issues and all I got was a "sorry brother". Not a way of conducting business at all, whatever you do look elsewhere. The Yelp page has issues like this dating back 5 years ago with the mishandling of OLED TV’s. The only good is the “cheap pricing” $500 dollars for 2 hours is not cheap, go get a deal elsewhere.

We've had two great experiences with Golden Eagle now and figured it was about time to leave a review! The first was for helping us move between houses in Oakland in early Aug 2023, and the second was for helping us move some furniture (including an upright piano) from my in-laws' home in San Jose up to our home in Oakland today. The bottom line is that they provide great service at a great value. They strike an excellent balance between moving quickly and taking very good care with everything they help to pack, move, disassemble and reassemble. Nothing was damaged in either move, which is kind of a miracle. We will be using them again for sure, and tipping them well every time we do!

I've been working with Golden Eagle for my staging business for a long time. The movers are highly efficient, punctual, and professional. They carry all packing materials so I dont have to provide anything. Pricing is reasonable and the manager, Chen, is very trustworthy. 5 stars!!

Victor was responsive but, in the end, not reasonable at all. His movers broke our OLED TV after we repeatedly asked them to be extremely careful as the TV is very thin. We requested they wrap the TV by itself and remove the base if needed. Instead, his movers wrapped the TV in my mattress despite us asking them not to. "This is better" is what they said. We traveled 7 hours and upon arrival to our destination we immediately noticed the TV was hanging out of the mattress. Two corners were bent and cracked. The TV is completely broken. We notified Victor and he promptly said they were not responsible. How could they not be as the damage was caused by a wrapping flaw HIS movers decided on? On top of that, the movers were late and they did not have their own tools to disassemble furniture like other moving companies I've used in the past. Overall, very unsatisfied with this company/service. Their movers should listen to their costumers when they raise concerns.Response: Hi Victor, you were not present so you cannot say the TV was actually okay when it was wrapped. We asked your movers to not place the TV in the mattress. How is it that the TV is bent on two opposite sides at the bottom? The TV was vertical inside of the mattress with the base sticking out. The bottom corner which is cracked/broken was the corner all of the weight was placed on when your movers decided to place it vertically inside the mattress. Mattress was folded in half, which protects the top of the TV only, not the bottom portion. This configuration left the bottom portion of the TV to withstand the entire 70lb weight of the TV causing it to crack. We are upset because the movers did not listen to us and their decisions caused damage to our $1800 TV.

Just be cautious, cheaper isn't always better.

We just hired them to move a five bedrooms house. We have a lot of stuff and they finished in less than 9 hours with four movers. They didn’t stop except for very brief time to eat lunch. We really like them. The boss is very responsive and professional. They also moved a piano for us and everything was organised and packed well by them. We absolutely recommend them and will use them again.

The movers helped move us to a house with three floors. I can't imagine the labor and strength they put in. At they end they didn't even ask for a tip yet I decided to tip over 20%. Even if their English was not great, he was smart enough to use a translation app to communicate clearly with me. Would highly recommend them and use them again in the future.
