I typically don’t like leaving negative reviews but I felt it necessary.
I was in the market to sell my EV and was interested in the 2025 CT5. I gave them numbers of what I wanted to pay and how much I was willing to put down. Of course I was willing to negotiate.
After coming back with outrageous numbers and huge down payment, I said no. They went back and decided that the CT5 was out of the price range and they were not going to negotiate. The finance manager comes back with numbers for a CT4 which is not the car I wanted and the payments were over what I was paying for my EV. Mind you he told me that it had all the same options on the car as the CT5 I wanted, I don’t know if he thought I was stupid and didn’t know cars, but the price was a $20k difference. I asked for the window sticker and it was the base model, nothing on it.
I looked at the CT4 and for a moment thought sure I’ll get into this car. But realized I should have a second opinion. And ultimately I knew the CT5 was the car i wanted. Instead of giving Fremont my business I reached out to Cadillac of South San Francisco and they worked with me, they gave me the exact car I wanted with all the options I wanted and worked with me to have my payments stay the same as what I paid for my EV.
This review is being written because after 2 purchases from Fremont Mercedes and GMC, I thought the customer service would have been better. The fact I was talked out of the car I wanted and given an awful deal, the whole experience made me like I was being shrugged off and that my business was not welcome!
I will not ever be returning to Fremont to purchase a vehicle and I suggest if you’re in the market for a new car search elsewhere!

I recently purchased a Cadillac Lyriq EV from the Fremont Cadillac dealership and I am absolutely happy about my purchase experience. The staff at this dealership across sales, management and finance departments are professional, courteous knowledgeable and very friendly.
Jhoselyn Aguilar, the sales associate is very thorough in providing the details of features of the various models of the Cadillac Lyriq so I could make the most informed decision. She was also very accommodative in letting me test drive a few models including RWD and AWD which helped me decide on the AWD. She was helpful throughout the process including the post purchase features demonstration of the vehicle.
Max Ummaid the sales manager was very professional in clarifying the terms and conditions for the various models for both purchase and lease that helped me decide what is best for me.
Peter Golchin the Finance Director was very professional and walked me through the process of lease and signing the contract along with other details that made the lease experience a very pleasant one.
Kudos to Jhoselyn, Max and Peter. I will recommend Fremont Cadillac to my friend and family's for sure!

I recently purchased a Cadillac Lyriq from this dealership, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. Harry was the one who assisted me throughout the entire process, and his service was amazing. He was patient, delightful, and found the best deal for me. I highly recommend this dealership, and if you have the chance, look for Harry. You won't be disappointed.

Make sure to ask first for hidden fees before going. I went to see a 2015 murano listed online for 14,565 on cargurus and when I got to the dealer were overcharging me with hidden fees. Even on their website they didn't have these fees included. They also overestimated DMV fees. What a waste of time

I have been a loyal customer of Fremont Cadillac for many years. I have faithfully gotten my vehicles serviced and was very pleased with the attention and care that was provided each time. I never felt like I didn’t matter, until I went in to purchase the Lyric. At first, when we arrived, there was no one in or near the Cadillac part of the dealership. We walked outside and called for attention when someone came from the GM side. We were given assistance and took a test drive. The kid was new but did pretty good. Their attention to us and concern for our satisfaction was top tier until we got to finance and started signing papers. We were told that the vehicle had 3 year/ 36k mile mfr warranty when it was really 4yr/ 50k. That played a part in our purchase of the extended warranty, which was thousands of dollars more. We were offered 2 years of free charging or installation of a charging station at home. However, they didn’t make it clear that the charging station itself was not a part of that offer and they only pay up to $1500 of the installation to a company of their choice. So that would have played a part in our decision to get the home device if we had known.
When we went back the next day to ask about the warranty, I didn’t feel as welcome as the day before when they wanted to sell me a car. The finance guy seemed like he just didn’t give a damn. They told us to go and ask a service person if they recommend the extended warranty and when we did, the service person said we didn’t need one because it was a new car!! They kept pushing it’s a “limited mfr warranty” so the mfr could say no to any service we may need. The only reason they gave was that rats could chew the wires. The finance guy said he would give us the paperwork to cancel but never did. When we returned from the service department, everyone was busy all of a sudden and acted like they didn’t even see us come back.
I brought my car back for a detail later that week and asked if they could charge it. They said they would but it wasn’t even charged up to 50% when I got it back. And finally, when I spoke to another sales person about the extended warranty, he acted like he cared and told me that he would have another sales person call my husband and I to give us more information and satisfy our concerns. That was Friday that I gave him our number. No call came through. So, my final words are, if you expect caring service after you sign and pay, DON’T!
If you expect to feel like a cheap wh*re who was screwed with no Vaseline, by all means….
Although I live in Fremont, I will be going to St. Claire Cadillac or Dublin for any future assistance.
I never even received an email for review. I also forgot to add that they lied about the rebate changing the next day. That was yet ANOTHER deciding factor on getting this car.
I am just disappointed.
Admir, I have reached out to you twice since you responded to my review and you have yet to get back to me. Thank you for proving, to me, that Fremont Cadillac has no concern for customers after a substantial purchase has been made.

I purchased a Cadillac XT5, great price, but not a good experience. First I noticed that the all weather mats in thep ictures online were not in the car. After looking at the pictures, the sales person took the price of the mats off the price of the car, fair enough. Then he gave me invoice for the total cost of the car. There was a charge for $999.99 for a tracking device. I did not want the tracker, but I was told that I had to purchase it. After much debate, they finally removed the charge. When I got home, I was removing all of the stickers from the car, I found one that said the car was equipped with a tracking device and it is the customer's choice if they want it or not. What a scam, BEWARE.

I'm giving them five stars based on a few things:1. The used car I purchased is in damn good condition. They let me borrow the car and get an independent inspection. Zero repairs needed.2. They had both Carfax and GM service records, mostly complete.3. They negotiated the price down. Had to walk out a few times, but still.Overall, good experience. THAT SAID, the cost of maintenance services is ludicrous, especially for a GM vehicle. If I were to get a new car someday and its Cadillac, I'd go back. But holy crap would I be mad if they tried to charge an arm and a leg for services. It should not cost 900 dollars to change transmission fluid. No way its over two hours of work especially with techs who do this crap all the time.

We drove from Rocklin because Fremont Cadillac had a specific CT6 that was not available at our local dealership. Our salesman, Justin, eventually had us in 3 different cars before we made our decision. Ali, finance manager, was very helpful in walking through all options so we could make a well informed decision. Was pleased with the experience and dealership.

Long motorcycle ride, ran out of gas on auto mall/cushing and was fuel cutting. Fortunately was able to make it right into Fremont Cadillac parking lot. They had a spare gas can with a little bit of gas. Was able to make it to the shell down the street. Will not misjudge my reserve blinker again. Thanks guys, really appreciate the assist!

They stereotyped us and were not interested in working with BIPOC people my wife and I were disgusted, We will go to Dublin to buy the car, where we were made to feel welcome, and offered to test drive the car. Fremont had the Lyriq in the color we wanted and was told it was for sale but not interest in allowing us to test drive it Sad to say but Tesla offered much better experience
