Took my 1997 firebird in all I wanted done was a driveshaft replacement as the linkage was already determined to be bad. I bought the car for a 1000 dollars to give you perspective. The car ran just fine gave it a tune up when I bought it and still couldn't figure out a certain squeak when going front wards or backwards. I had it on jackstands in the garage and put it in drive then reverse and found that the linkage was bad for the driveshaft now the car ran and drove when I took it it all I needed was a new driveshaft that's it purely mechanical job right well this shop charged me 1800 dollars part and labor I drove about a mile down the road and the car sputters out and dies I call the shop and asked them what did they do and of course they told me they didn't know when I did finally get it home I hooked up a code reader and it said it that I needed to replace the fuel pump? I then had to take out even more money to replace that fuel pump then the engine starts to misfire I ended up donating the car but tell me how my car ends up having engine problems when I needed the driveshaft replaced? Sounds like someone was testing something and shorted something out idk like my fuel pump got it running enough for me to get down the road. I literally paid more for the parts and labor than I did the car and now I'm left standing with no car at all dont get me wrong the car was a turd but driveshaft replacement doesn't have anything to do with a dead fuel pump and a misfiring engine that was my experience with this place I'm not mad I just wouldn't take your car here if you need to rely on it for anything

In life, it’s important to have a trustworthy doctor, attorney and mechanic. For me, Dorso’s has been my primary mechanic for the past 14 yrs and three vehicles. For a few years to took a new car to the dealership only because of the service pkg that came with the car. I recently purchased a Tacoma and immediately took it to Dorso for inspection. It was nice to see they are still in business and thriving. When someone is having issues with a dealership service or looking for a mechanic, I always recommend Dorso’s.

Would give more stars if we could. All the staff there are very kind, courteous, supportive, and very knowledgeable. Family members have been using them for years as the go to place and now we know why. Will definitely be bringing in our other cars to them in the future.
