I recently visited Dollar Tree and was extremely disappointed with the customer service. Although there might only be a couple of employees working at any given time, it is unacceptable for the line to stretch all the way down the aisle while one worker is texting on her phone or doing other tasks like stocking shelves. At every retail job I’ve had, we were taught to prioritize handling the line first, but this employee blatantly ignores the growing line of customers.
It’s frustrating to see one employee struggling to manage the line alone while the other, who could clearly help, chooses to do nothing. This behavior is unprofessional and creates a poor shopping experience. This employee needs to be held accountable for her lack of initiative and disregard for customer service. I strongly believe that if this behavior continues, she should be fired to ensure a better shopping experience for customers. The person is a women with bangs and when she is their she avoids the register.

Cashier was rude as hell. Asked if I needed a bag, in which I replied with “yes please.” Threw everything in the bag and slid it across the counter. No, “Thank you, have a good night.” Not even a “Thank you.” Then it was onto the next customer. Some of the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. I would also like to add that this particular location wasn’t stocked well or even looked presentable. A bunch of items were just laying on the floor, every aisle I passed. Just a trashy store. I will not be coming back.

I was in the Stevenson Blvd., Fremont store this morning. When I walked in a few minutes after 11:00 there was one register open and the line was half-way down the isle. I thought "glich," which will be resolved by the time I get to the register. I spent about 40 minutes making my secection of miscellaneous merchandise that I intended to purchase. When I got up to the register to pay, there was still only one register open, and the line -11 people - was a little longer than when I arrived. I asked the cashier to call the manager. When the manager - young lady wearing a scarf - responded, I asked her to walk with me to the line, and pointed out the number people waiting to pay for their purchases; she didnt seem surprised. I told her that that was unacceptable. She exhibited no sense of urgency to resolve the customer service issue, and she showed a complete lack of respect for her customers time. I asked her for the name and contact information of her district manager. She told me that she couldnt give me that information and that I would have to come back on Monday when the district manger would be in the store. This is no way to run a business. If Dollar Tree chooses bad customer service, that's their right, they wont go broke without my $70. I choose not to return to Dollar Tree, and I wont go broke shopping elsewhere.

I came here to buy a balloons for some reason the cashier name CHERR said she cant blow the balloons and rude, rushing me to pay. how hard it is to blow a birthday balloons. Store is fine but customer service sucks!

Avoid it at all costs!!! The line is super long, only one register open, and the person at the register is super slow. Literally they don’t care, an employee left even though there were over 15 customers in line. Super bad!

I am seething as I write this review. First of all, every time I am in here, the check out line is astronomically long. That wouldn't be such a problem if the check out wasn't SOOOO SLOOOWWW. Today I waited in line with my family for THIRTY MINUTES even though we were maybe the tenth people in line when we got there. After 30 minutes, one of my kids started screaming since they had accidentally shut their fingers in one of the drink refrigerators. Keep in mind, for thirty minutes I have been preoccupying my children by playing I Spy and alphabet games so they're not running around the store or being obnoxious. Once my 3-year-old got hurt, he was screaming loudly and I immediately took him out of the store to take care of him (leaving my 5-year-old with my husband in line). Once my husband FINALLY got to the register, the cashier starts talking to the customers in front of him about what bad parents we were and how she was counting how many time my son had "banged his head on the concrete." That literally never happened.I will *NEVER* be setting foot in a Dollar Tree again. No one deserves to wait in line that long only to be falsely bad mouthed by employees. Perhaps my standards are set too high for a messy dollar store, but I thought I could at least expect some professionalism. Any decent person would have checked to see if an injured child is okay, but I suppose that's hard to come by in this dump.

The tall "manager" (im assuming she's female) with the beanie (usually green) and glasses needs to help out their employees. I've been coming to this location for years and I am quite used to the long lines and messy store, but I can't get over how the managers do little to help their employees. This person I am speaking of walked outside their little office, sees how busy the front end is with one check stand open and instead of helping, they hide back in their cubicle.They truly show how much they don't care about their workers and customers when they do that.Hey manager with a green beanie: HELP YOUR WORKERS!

They will say restroom is not available!9/24 6:30pm restroom not available..10/1 6:50pm restroom not available..We always come to this store with our kids. Everything is good except their restroom is always not available.They wont let you use restroom even if your a regular customer with young kids with you that regularly buy toys.
