I've been going to Bogie's Discount Pet Food & Supplies for over six months, but today’s experience with my dog, Nikki, left me shocked. The staff labeled him as the "problem dog" upon our arrival. I had even given Nikki calming pills before our appointment and informed the groomer.
Later, the groomer called me to say that Nikki had bled a bit but assured me he was no longer bleeding. She was quite casual about it, mentioning Nikki's bleeding and difficult behavior without much concern. When I went to pick him up, the groomer explained that when she put the harness on Nikki, he moved abruptly, causing the harness to stick to his body and exacerbate the bleeding. The severity of his wound was significantly downplayed. Considering the challenges they faced with Nikki, I decided to tip the groomer in cash. However, she neither apologized nor showed any concern, continuing to blame Nikki for being difficult.
When I got home, I discovered a distressing wound on Nikki, who was clearly in pain. It was much worse than described, with his bone visible through torn skin, and he was trembling.
I was shocked by the groomer's attitude and their carelessness with a dog. I don't think any human being seeing this kind of wound would feel anything but sadness. Yet, there were no apologies, no concerns expressed, and they still blamed Nikki.
I strongly advise against visiting Bogie’s Discount Pet Food & Supplies, especially if you have an energetic dog or if you deeply care about your pet's well-being. They show a lack of concern for your dog, offer no apologies if something goes wrong, and are quick to judge your dog rather than evaluating their own skills. I suspect they'll be relieved that Nikki, the "problem dog," won't be bothering them anymore after this experience.

im new to fremont. found pet store, parked by hot dog store walked to front of store on street and knocked on both front doors at street. a women motioned me to go back around by hot dog store. i walked around to rear and found entrance door. it was raining and i was upset, i asked why cant they put a simple sign on front doors directing you to rear of store to enter i asked one of the 5 girls standing at the register. one gal insisted there was a sign on the front doors. i asked if she could show me knowing there is nothing there, i stood in the rain looking. she got angry and told me i didnt need to shop there so i left. i hope they go out of business, the city needs the revenue and the store had no customers along with the attitude customers are wrong ! i really hope we get new owners or a new store. remember the saying customers are always right, not at this store even if you really are. mw

Decided to try Bogies again after last visits for grooming results in our dogs coming back with fleas. Room much cleaner and no fleas on this visit. Both dogs didn't seem traumatized as we picked them up. Will patronize them again

Make sure to get the final price before they starts grooming. Else they will add bunch of new unknown charges

I recently found this little gem. I brought my precious Yorkie, named Snugelz to get groomed. Snugelz had a wonderful time. And looked extra handsome. Thank you Dana, for such a pleasant experience. We will definitely be coming back. I found every employee I met, very sweet. I would definitely recommend this place. I know my Snugelz can't wait.

Terrible grooming service. This was 2nd appointment for my pet. First appointment wasn't very positive but wanted to support a local business but they crossed all limits for 2nd as appointment.They kept my pup for 6+ hours and constantly lied about the reason of delay. After I showed up waiting for 5 hours, saw that they had just started with my dog and she was locked up for 5 hours. Utterly rude behavior by store manager and didn't even groom the dog properly.My pup hasn't even eaten since I brought her home. This was a total torture. Never coming back here.If you love your pet, DO NOT BRING them here for grooming.

Only place in town that has fresh feeders for my reptiles. Been coming here for almost 4 years, always friendly service. They take good care of their customers.

My go-to for all my pet's needs! I always come here to stock up on my dog's kibbles and snacks. I love the variety of quality foods they have. My dog also loves the dried duck feet from here. Make sure you sign up for the rewards to get coupons from time to time!
