This is the WORST financial institution ever. I got a checking account statement from them, with my name and my old address, and a lot of transactions that I never know. Some criminals stole my personal information and opened an account in their bank. I called them, asking them to suspend and close the account. I also called the police and report to Identity Theft Gov. The bank customer service told me they will conduct an investigation and will contact me back in 2 business days. While no one ever calls or emails me back. I called again, they just told me I already done my part and they will do their part in 30 business days and there is no need to talk with me again. I was wondering if my SSN was also compromised, they told me it's their confidential and can't disclose to me. And later they told me the last 4 of my SSN is mismatched with the account opened by criminals under my name. So the criminals can use one person's name and address, and another person's SSN, to open an account in BMO? The BMO just let them pass? I asked them how can this happened, they told me they didn't know currently and need to investigate the situation. And every time I called them, I had to wait for at least 1 hour to get some live person to talk, and they usually replied with "I don't know" "I can't tell you". They're just useless and shameless.

This bank is terrible , worst customer service , took over 2 h to get connected and once you got connected their connection was so bad that they didn’t hear you !

Review of : Bank Of The West On Mowry, Fremont, California Branch Manager VP : Pablo Leon Hi, For anyone banking at Bank Of The West, or for the suits, holding higher positions within the financial firms sector: I have been banking with this financial firm, for approx. 45 years.. I want to give recognition, and a great big shout out -of appreciation to : Pablo Leon. He is the Branch Manager VP, at the Mowry location... I recently had major problems, with an unresponsive, mobile account... It locked and unlocked my credit cards, on its own... It rendered my account, useless to me. I was not able to do anything, other than view it, and use one of my cards... I could not make my credit card payments, or anything else. I had been to different branches at Bank Of The West, and given them several chances, to resolve my problems . No one was able to help me resolve the issue. I was ready to close out my account of 45 years. Taking my business elsewhere. I decided to go over to the Mowry branch, as I had a few transactions, I needed to take care of . I knew they had recently hired a new Branch Manager VP: Pablo Leon He had solved a lot of problematic issues, that branch, was having... He took a branch with a lot of problems, cleaned it up, hired some new employees, and made it run smoothly, and efficiently. The employees are very pleasant, friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient at their jobs ... He also improved customer service, and the complete function of how that branch was run . Before he was hired: I had stopped doing business, at that branch. When Pablo was was hired, he completely turned things around. Now, it is a smooth running branch ... I love doing business, at this branch now . I presented my problem/challenge, to Pablo, along with my frustration. He asked me, to give him a chance to fix it. He shook my hand, and gave me his word. His word , that he would not give up, until he resolved all issues, and fixed my banking related problems.... He assured me, he would find a way to fix it..... He said he loved a challenge..... (especially one, that others had attempted to fix, and failed at). . He promised me, that if I put my faith in him, and gave him the chance, he would find a way to fix it. He told me, they valued their customers, and that he did not want to lose me as a member of his branch family... He asked, that I be patient with him, as he found a way to fix the problem... (note that he did not say, try to fix)....... To the suits higher up: You need to value this man: For his integrity, ethics, character, dedication, and determination.. As well as his abilities to solve difficult problems, and retain your customers, (when they are frustrated enough to leave) ... He is a valuable asset, to your bank/business... He also has a very pleasant Personality, and is great with people, which is an extreme bonus. He is a man of his word, true and true.. A man, whose handshake, and word, hold great value. It took him a while, but he stayed on it like a pitbull with a bone .....until he got all my problems resolved... This is a man who will shake your hand, give you his word, and live up to what he says.... So a great big shout out , of appreciation, and gratitude, To Pablo Leon, (from the bottom of my heart) .....You Have Definitely Earned My Respect... ....Thank you so much ! ....Don't ever change . The world needs more people like you.. A reminder to the higher-ups (the suits)... A business is only as successful , as the people you have running it. Thank you again Pablo Leon!!

This branch is always closed during their business hours. The atms seldom work. Whenever I have gone inside I see workers with no customers not helping customers waiting. There will be maybe 2 tellers and only one actually taking customers. Get it together. This is the only branch now in Fremont and paseo was way better!! Should've kept that one opened. Don't go here! Seriously not worth it. You will likely not get any help or be able to use the atms. Truly yours, A sad and frustrated patron that now needs to find a new bank. Any suggestions...?

Clean. Pretty friendly but couldn't help with overseas account which seems bizarre since the bank is directly connected to BNP in France.

Not any help with any online banking,and any penalty fees associated with this feature. In order to find this out I had to drive to the branch because they would not answer their phone... although when I get there, there are 4 or 5 staff members and two customers! Lousy service now. They use to be good, but times have changed and they're just an average bank today. I'll need to close out my three accounts with them and go elsewhere

I got caught by SURPRISE! I closed my accounts at Wells Fargo across the street due to poor customer service and opened this account for a few years now at the Paseo Padre branch. They have great customer service and it's always pleasant when "everybody knows your name". I can honestly say that I feel valued when step into the branch with a warm welcome greeting. Kudos to the new management and staff for the genuine service. The only bad thing is the wait time during lunch hours so be prepared for that but it's worst the wait in my opinion

This branch has made major changes since new management has taken over a few months ago! We had to start coming here because the branch on Paseo closed down. The service and professionalism here is exceptional, and I am so pleased that Cherry R. and Victor C. have moved to this location. I feel valued and they take the time to help me with my finances and understand how to manage them, especially Victor C. This guy comes straight out of GQ magazine covers, because he always has on the nicest suits. Keep up the great work.

I have to be honest and say that the service has has definitely improved with the new manager in place. I went here for a fraud issue and was helped by Victor. I felt as if I was valued and impressed with the world class service. He also had a very nice suit. Kudos!
