I have been a loyal customer of Autotek for 3 years and will continue to be. I even moved to the other side of the bridge and STILL make a trip to Fremont because I don't trust anyone else with my vehicle and the service is TOP TIER.Peter was very kind and knowledgeable from the moment I called him back in 2021. I was referred to him by a friend from Midnight Garage, another local business who was unable to assist me but knew Peter and highly recommended him. Nowadays, young women can be intimidated by male auto mechanics and possibly get ripped off going alone but after speaking with Peter, he was upfront, honest, and had a quiet demeanor about him that helped me to feel like I and my vehicle were in good hands. I gave him insight to what the issues were with my Jeep and he really took his time checking everything out. He also went the extra mile and educated me on what he did as well! His workers are very kind and efficient - they always greet me with a smile and never rush the job.To this day, I still get the same level of care I received as a new customer. Best shop I have ever dealt with! I recently brought in my CNG-powered vehicle that was experiencing low power issues, and they were able to get it diagnosed and repaired much quicker than I could have ever expected. Peter is very knowledgeable on all things CNG, and in addition to the repair work, he completed the triennial PG&E tank and fuel system inspection while it was in. I definitely will not hesitate to return for all my future CNG needs!

Knowledgeable & fair prices. The shop isn't in a rush so they make sure all fault modes are covered. He's busy and probably tired from working over 30 years, so don't worry about his attitude over the phone, worry about the technical problems & cost.

We had brakes replaced at Autotek and were very impressed. They really took the time to check what actually needed to be fixed/replaced and what could wait. He searched online for best prices for each part.Peter even looked into an oil issue our car was having and researched the warranty for us. He provided some great advice on how to handle the issue, even when it meant us going to the dealership for service instead of his shop.Prices were transparent, they gave a clear estimate of what everything would cost. Friendly and honest.Highly recommend!

Just spoke with Peter on the phone and I'm very touched by his caring attitude, his generosity and professionalism. Shopping for a used car, I was looking for a garage to do a pre-purchase inspection. He asked me good questions about both vehicles that I'm considering, and offered estimates to address known issues (engine leaks), as well as his advice. He spent a solid 15 minutes with me on the phone (you can cover a lot of ground in 15 minutes with someone who knows his stuff!) even though there was no compensation. I volunteered to write this review as a small way to show my appreciation, and acknowledge and thank Pere for his caring attitude and professional opinion. I felt he treated me really well, and went above and beyond. Thank you Peter!

I brought in a used Audi for a pre-purchase inspection. Peter is super friendly and professional. After the inspection, he not only told me what are the faults but also what is the best and the worst case for each fault he identified. Meanwhile, he suggested at least including a list of fixes in the purchase term. I'm currently negotiating these issues with the dealer. I highly recommend Autotek for vehicle inspection if you are purchasing a used car.

I brought in my 2006 Mustang after we had already replaced all 3 timing chains and reseated the heads ourselves. We were left with a runability issue we just couldn't figure out. It turned out to be something simple. These guys took my car in, called me very soon after drop off with recommendations. They performed additional requested work, and it was ready for pick up the same day. He answered all of our questions, and offered future assistance. The price was very reasonable. I will definitely bring our vehicles back if we get stuck with another head scratcher. The shop is in good condition. Service is quick, knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. I highly recommend them.

Actually pretty funny. Disclaimer: I did not get work done from this business, but called in an attempt to get my car repaired. I called the business. Guy picks up who sounds extremely uninterested. Not a big deal, he's a mechanic and he was probably super busy. I get it. Guy isn't listening to me talk, almost like talking to a dialtone. I repeat myself twice, simply trying to get an idea of availability. After paying no attention to anything I said, he replied in quite epic fashion, "Give me your phone number, I'm gonna have to call you back. I'm dealing with something that's more important than you." Honestly, I wasn't even mad. His blantant display of zero $hits to give was comical. I won't ever call them again. Funny story.
