The 99 Ranch hot deli just ripped me off. I just purchased a whole duck from the hot deli. When I got home, everyone was digging into the duck when we realized that we didn't get the entire duck. What we got was 4 drumsticks (2 with the end meat chopped off), some breast meat, an entire neck and butt and many back pieces - no wings, no thigh meat, no head. So, it seems that the guy took pieces left over from selling BBQ plates and dumped them into the box, chopped up some breast meat to put on top so that it looked good and put the drumsticks on the side so that it looked like an entire duck. All this was done behind the screen so that you can't see anything.I called the store, but of course, no one answered and since we've already eaten most of the meat (the little there was), because that was on the top, it will be hard to prove to management of the deception, which I'm sure that they know happens as my mother warned me of that decades ago. It just never happened to me until today.A total ripoff!Update: I finally reached someone at customer service and, after expressing shock that something like this happened, they offered me a refund the next time I come in. At least they offered to make it right, but Sunday brunch was ruined!

Ever since i was little, going to the grocery store was always the best especially with my momma! 99 ranch here in Fremont haven't been here for too long, but remains popular and busy. There's a food court in this 99 ranch which is home to many grab n go meals. There's always that one traditional stand at all Asian grocery stores which sells a variety of Dim sum, nap, and peaking duck. My most recent visit i had purchased three Jin deui (sweet sesame balls) to munch on while i walked through each isle with my mom. Soon enough after finishing just one, my stomach became sour and bloated. Not sure what it was about these sesame balls, but they made me very sick after eating. I was not able to enjoy dinner that night as i felt as though the world was spinning. I was completely nauseous unable to eat, and drained all of my energy. I wasn't able to eat anything without having the urge to throw up. I even missed my friends birthday celebration. Overall 99 ranch is awesome, but i will forever never buy what is suppose to be,"fresh" Jin deui.

This is one of the nicest Ranch99 places I've been to. It's very spacious, wide aisles, clean, & really an asian dream store. Hahaha ...... for those who loves to eat. lol

I did not shop here, but came for the food court instead. There are quite a lot of choices here, but so far I have only tried QingShu Malatang. Will definitely try the other shops next time I visit.

This is a really good grocery store to buy Asian foods, desserts, and other goodies. I like how they sell ready-made Japanese bentos, donburis, and sushi. It even has a food court too filled with Asian food places. The atmosphere is nice, which makes the grocery store look more aesthetic. I usually come here to buy most Asian products that other stores don't have.

I went here because I was looking for Latiao, the trending Chinesr snack. I couldn't find it but their snacks aisle almost has everything coming from China, Taiwan, Malaysia, Japan and few in the Philippines. I am pretty impressed with the food court as they have a great options reflecting SF Bay Area price like Chicken Meets Rice, Kokoro, 99 Ranch Deli, Chinese Bakery, Shinlin - a Taiwanese snack shop.I have 3 stars becsuse 99 Ranch always have higher price points compared to other Asuan groceries & supermarkets. This is a bigger, clean and more organized space. And the have a bar there called Piju,I am impressed by the grocery srlection and you can pantry essentials and selections are huge. But little higher price points like $0.50 to $1 more compared to other Asian groceries. They have smaller selection of meats, fish, seafood and produce. You'll ptobably find more Chinese, Taiwanese & Malaysian and other South Asian and SE Asian pantry seentials here.Customer service is 4/5.Ambiance and food court 5/5.Prices 3/5 - 99 Ranch has higher pricesSelection is huge here.Food Court is 5/5.

Excellent food, good collection of Asian food, good service since you can eat seated. Ambience is very family oriented. The parking lot is always busy but it's never a problem. Many restaurants and shops around and busy through the night. Don't go too late for their food buffet because taste goes down, for example, shrimp and sardines become too salty. I have been here twice and I'm going again today.

This place is a lot bigger than it looks and they have a lot of products that can not be found here in the US. The produce is really top notch and the variety is great if you know what your looking for, it can be somewhat overwhelming if your not someone who is familiar with their products but if your like me I love trying new things this is a great place for you because they carry so many things. They also have fresh seafood, like still alive when you buy it! They also have at least 6 authentic resturaunts inside the market. Check it out and see how you like it.

In the deli section, there is a male kitchen staff or chef maybe , with thinning hair. He will yell at customers when they are filling up their bento box. He would stop them and saying " enough".Today my family got yelled at by him. The box is not full at all, and it is a fish dish. Picture taken with time and date stamped is upon request to prove. He did this to anyone as long as he thinks it is enough according to his standard. I wonder who gave him this right. It is rude and impolite.Anyone can try filling up a fish dish bento box and see if he would yell and stop you when your box is 70% full. This only happens in Fremont 99 ranch deli section. Managers please be aware of this. You all have elder families, and you don't want them to be treating like this when shopping.

I was so surprised of how clan and nice it is when I walked in there. It's completely different from what I remember the old 99 ranch. I love the food/cafeteria section. I will definitely come back to check out more later on. 1 lil downside is that the cashier from the bbq section and the front cashier that helped me don't speak English.

Wow this is the nicest 99 Ranch market I’ve ever seen this place is amazing. It’s relatively new I think first time here but apparently it’s the new layout that the company is trying to roll with super clean. No stinky fish section everything is so nice and orderly food court is the new business model court eat up several outside vendors have stands here you can get bento Ramen there’s a bar super cool, food court nachos, ranch 99 food but outside vendors selling all kinds of stuff. This is the best ranch to go to guys down in the Southbay by Milpitas. You got a check it out I got to come back to the food court on the weekends. It looks like it’s going to be jamming. Oh, there’s a bar tons of food super clean you guys. Got a check it out.
