The owner was very friendly and helpful! They found me a high grade windshield that was the same manufacturer as the one that came with my car for a fraction of the price. I highly recommend coming here the work was done fast and flawlessly you can't even tell it's aftermarket. Thank you again!!!

Been here twice they evaluated the car got 2 different problems with it. They promised they shut the window all the way & it wouldn't go down anymore til I have money to fix it and it's gone down all the way stuck both times. Driving to work in the freezing cold and rain. Wasted money and time.

Do NOT go here, took my car today to fix a crack on my windshield . He told me to come back in about 40 min, when I got there he said he had "sealed the crack" so that it wouldn't keep running, but could not fix it. basically nothing was done to my car and he charged me what he would've charged me if he had fixed it. He did not call me to notify me he couldn't do the job. Then he proceeded to show me how he has sealed it by grabbing his very sharp tool and digging a hole into the same crack where he had " sealed it " . Very unprofessional & RUDE. Don't waste your time & money .

Definitely stay away from this place! From the get go they seemed sketchy & their only motive seemed to rip me off! Got a quote for $135 from the owner Tony & a day later it jumped to $500 from the son! Fighting them to get my $150 deposit, although no parts were ordered nor any labor provided?! STAY AWAY!! Like I said stay away from this place! Called Miguel's auto glass on Thursday afternoon & by Friday at 11am the job was completed & cheaper price! Miguel had done work for me in the past! He has always been very professional & does quality work! 100% recommended his business! I happen to be driving by Zamex at the time & I figured I would give them an opportunity! What a mistake that was & they have convinced me beyond any doubt, why I hadn't worked with them in the past! STAY AWAY! If you don't believe me just read some past reviews from other unfortunate individuals! There is definitely a pattern!

To be fair, this shop did an excellent job of repairing my brother's windshield, both in a timely and cost effective manner. Unfortunately my experience was vastly different. A part of me feels like leaving a negative Yelp review is bad karma, and yet another part of me wishes to save people from the inconvinience I went through dealing with Zamex. I have a 2006 Subaru Impreza who's back windshield was broken out while in San Francisco. In shopping around, Zamex was recommended by a family friend who informed me they were the best deal in town. And alas they WERE the best deal by a mile. Nearly $300 less than all the other shops. With high hopes I left my car in their care with the promise of a 3day turn around. After three days I received a call saying that they had ordered the wrong glass and would need a few more days to receive the correct one. Seeing as how I have another car I wasn't too irritated, it was still going to be much cheaper than if I had taken it elsewhere. A few days later I receive another call saying the new glass they ordered had broke in transport and would need to hold on to my car a bit longer. Another few days passes and I receive a third call saying the second piece of glass had been broken again in transport. By this point my car has been there over two weeks. Apparently the shop owner could no longer find any used glass and would therefore have to order a new piece at a price of $650. Frustrated and short of patience I agreed with the promise having my car back by the end of the week. Well the end of the week arrived with no call from Zamex, so I decided to call myself. Mind you I called two hours before closing only to be told that the FOURTH piece of glass they ordered was the wrong one...again. I realize that in writing this, the majority of what happened was beyond their control, but I suppose what got me the most was the seemingly unremoresful, almost arrogant, exchange I had every time I spoke with the owner. There were no genuine apologies, no remorse, no professionalism. Just excuses and shoddy communication at best. I was able to secure a new windshield by myself in a little over 10 minutes of searching the net. As a shop whose entire business is replacing windshields, I'd like to think they have resources and leverage beyond what the average man does; apparently not. Lesson learned. Never again. As the old adage goes: If you want something done right, do it yourself.

Definitely don't go here. Got a "brand new" windshield installed and I was driving home noticed there were deep scuffs and scratches on the windshield. Whatever. That's fine. People make mistakes. Scheduled an appointment for them to buff it out and I couldn't make. So I scheduled another appointment and then the owner's telling me that it's my fault that I didn't check the windshield before I left AND now because I scheduled another appointment they're making me pay an extra $100. That's not how you run a business. The company makes a mistake and it's their responsibility to pay for it. Won't be coming here again and I advise you to do the same.

Seriously amazing folks! VERY honest, reliable and you can't be their prices! They did a great job re-bondoing my rusted frame and the new windshield looks awesome! Everyone quoted me 400+ they did it for 199 and a stellar job. The only thing I would change is a place to sit and wait for the work but I didn't mind sitting at the Starbucks and waiting.

I had to call Better Business because they sold me a cheap chinese windshield that broke the very next day. The owner wouldnt talk to me in english until i brought up the BBB then he spoke it to me. He called me a stupid pendajo because i told him what happened. 1 day of bickering the BBB ruled in my favour and ordered them to refund the money which they dide. They were so immature that they stapled my refund 60 different ways to another piece of paper that said "FUCK YOU, WHITE BOY" Also, when on the road, they cut me off so badly a few times my car skidded. These people need to be in jail, not running a business. Only go here if your into piss poor work and racist workers.

My regular mechanic recommended this place and I couldn't be happier with the result. They were able to do it right away, it only took an hour, and it was very affordable. But the clincher is that they cleaned my dashboard. I'm a total slob in my car. Haven't cleaned the interior since probably 2007, and they cleaned the entire dashboard--years of dust and ash and grime just gone.

Beware do not take your vehicle here unless you want it damaged...The owner will not even tell you about it. I brought my 2007 chevy tahoe here to have my windshield replaced. They replaced it alright and put a large gaping whole in my dash passenger side. Then he covered it with double sided sticky tape didn't even have the decensie to notify me, let me leave and pay for services. When i brought it back he lied and said that the gaping hole was already there. Then he back pedaled and admitted to the fact that he should have told me about the damages. To top it all off he is refusing to pay to have it fixed! I would have given him zero stars but yelp requires one!

Let me just say it wasn't easy to find a decent place to repair my windshield. I called a bunch of places and was frustrated with all the high prices and lack of availability they all seemed to have. I called this place and they quoted me $50-100 cheaper than anyone else. The place itself is small and had only one guy working there at the time, but regardless my beautiful brand spanking new windshield took only an hour and a half to replace. It's been a month and I still am impressed with the quality I received for so little. Thanks so much, I will recommend zamex to friends in the future for sure!
