About The Salvation Army Thrift Store & Donation Center
The Salvation Army Thrift Store & Donation Center in Orange County is a large, well-organized store that supports the organization’s Adult Rehab Centers, helping women and men battling substance abuse and homelessness. Customers appreciate that most of the money spent here goes directly to helping people in need, making it a preferred choice over other thrift stores like Goodwill. The staff are friendly, caring, and helpful, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Customers often comment on the store’s cleanliness and proper organization, with items clearly labeled. The store manager, along with other staff and volunteers, is noted for their kindness and attentiveness, contributing to positive shopping experiences. The store offers a good selection of clothing, including affordable prices on quality brands and a variety of items such as dresses, jackets, and casual wear. Prices are generally fair, with some appreciation for lighter shirts priced at around $3 and jackets at about $7. Customers value the store’s well-stocked shelves and the fact that the store does not have a “thrift” smell, making shopping more pleasant. However, some concerns include recent changes in pricing, where items are now individually priced instead of grouped by type, which some find less convenient. Additionally, the limited number of dressing rooms (around five, with only a few open at times) can cause wait times and feeling rushed while trying on clothes. Despite these minor issues, shoppers find the store’s prices appropriate and the staff friendly, often returning for the variety and the good causes their purchases support.
Great prices compared to other salvation army’s, they price lighter shirts as $3. Lower quality items priced lower instead of their “set price”. Even some jackets were $7. Good quality brands priced fairly too. Store was stocked 👌Even had fitting room opened. Staff friendly. I’ll be making this my main thrift... read full comment

Had a lot of feminine dresses. Got a billabong dress that I really liked. $8.99/dress. There were two dressing rooms open out of like 5 and the rest of them were closed.
