“Took my car in for an oil change and requested that they check all the fluids... besides that I had gone to another mechanic's shop a week ago to check my brakes because there was a bumping feeling other mechanic said there was no issues... Russ Conkle's mechanics did a safety check and found that I had a torn boot! My car is braking smoothly now! They also had a shuttle service that took me to work AND picked me up. Nice employees and great service. I've found my new mechanic shop!”

“I went in today @ 7:40 because I need air in my tire. As I was looking for change, and getting ready to put the change into the machine A wonderful kind man named Scott told me to bring it over to him and he would do it for me. He was such a huge help, turns out all my tires were low lol. But he was so kind and funny! He also taught me about tire pressure and how it works! He didn't make me feel d*** at all but helped educate me on something I would have never really known about. That was such a kind experience! Scott!!! You're amazing and thank you so much!”

“Dropped off my U-Haul truck here after a one-way trip. Painless and easy; the employee was polite and quick. I forgot my phone in the truck and one of the employees called the secondary contact number (whom I was luckily still with) within 5-10 minutes to let me know. Great customer service and they didn't even judge me for being an air-head ha!”

“it doesn't get better than this. first class service all the way. they do a great job helping you when needed, you can also fill up on propane you need for the BBQ! over time, i noticed that they always have the best pricing on everything, really important these days for sure. i needed help the other day with my windshield, someone came out and helped me get it done. You don't see that often! One day I had trouble walking after falling down, Fred and Ernesto came out and helped me do the fill up. Really helped me out. you will be happy going to this76 station, it's on the corner right at Beach and Lampson. Angel behind the counter always helpful. Cannot do better than this. As good as it gets!!! totally professional.”

“So check it out this is a gas station, how many people right reviews about their local corner gas station. Well I guess I do and there is a really good reason for it. This gas station is actually really nice.There pricing is not the best, the truth is there are two other Shell Stations in the Costa Mesa area and both of them have better pricing but they. It's are dirty, scary and have ZERO customer service. So if your looking for the best price then this station is nit for you.What this place does have to offer is clean fuel stations, a clean liquor store or or convince store that offers a little of everything. There is a great touch less car wash that actually does a really good job. I wish the dryer stayed on a little longer because it's not the best but I love that there are no brushes.They also have good customer service and I say that with a smile on my face. I mean the employees are nice, they say hello when you walk in and they answer yes and no questions. I guess they probably are very knowledgeable about the chips and candy that they sell I'm nit really sure. Now the owners on the other hand are really nice. The older gentleman that has been around for years seems super nice and his daughter is awesome. She helped me figure out a solution regarding their new car was. She literally went out and we walked the car wash together. Super nice and super helpful.Regarding the price of fuel, at the time of this review pricing was around $6.30 for a gallon of diesel but because I shop at Ralph's I saved $.30 a gallon. Sometimes I save $1.00 so shopping at Ralph's and buying from Shell really pays off. Plus the Shell diesel is really good.This place always has nice cars!! There are a couple high end dealerships in the area so there is a good chance you will see a few exotic car or two. Also on Saturdays and Sundays many of the locals pull their high end cars out of the garage and head to the local Cars and Coffee.If I owned this particular gas station I would specialize in some really good unique snacks and turn my little liquor store in to a local cormorant high end pit stop for the locals and offer hard to find beef jerky, mustards BBQ sauces specialty candies from around the world.With all that said this is my favorite gas station in Costa Mesa and for that I give them FIVE STARS!”

“Definitely a four star gas station. Gas pumps seem in great working order and the one that I used was in great working order. The grounds of the gas station were very clean. There were sanitation stations throughout the gas station. Trash cans were clean, windshield cleaning stations were clean. The only reason why I gave it four stars instead of five was because the convenience center to buy snacks, drinks is very very small.”

“First review of 2023.Just got my gas at the station, price seems pretty fair at this time of year.I made a mistake and went to the wrong pump and the gentleman at the register helped me swap pumps without a hassle.I didn't even pick a pump so I rushed to swap pumps. Before I even told him which pump it was, he already swapped to the correct station I was on. And honestly I think that is the best customer service at a gas station.I have some reserved comments about the one star reviews I have seen. About losing dollar bills leaving that the register, this is your money, you should atleast watch the guy take it before leaving. And the other about taking change out of a few bucks, bro this is a gas station not a bank.Anyways, if I am in the area, will visit this gas station again.”
