I cannot express enough gratitude for the exceptional care provided by the nurses at this hospital, especially Nurse Airyan and Irene, PCA Brisbel (I hope I get the name correctly) who took such great care of my mother. From the moment they entered the room, their warm and compassionate demeanor immediately put both my mother and our family at ease. They went above and beyond to ensure every need was met, consistently checking in to make sure my mother was comfortable and well cared for. Their attention to detail and willingness to take extra time to explain things made all the difference. It was clear that they genuinely cared for their patients, treating them with the utmost kindness. We are deeply grateful for their dedication and professionalism. Airyan, Irene and Brisbel are truly assets to the MemorialCare Orange Coast Medical Center. Thank you so much.
Sincerely,
Scott Le

This message is long overdue. I want to commend all the nurses and Doctors that work in the CCU.
My son was in their care for ten days. They worked diligently to save his life. All had the utmost respect and care possible, for him. They truly showed devotion and care for his recovery.
I want to especially thank Robert his main nurse as he worked and explained Aaron's need of care.
We had to remove Aaron from life supporting treatment. All the nurses and Doctors came and shared their heartfelt condolences to us and for us. That was 11/12/20. I hold these special people in my heart for doing all they could, as well as all medical workers, as they try to deal with life and death situations on a daily basis. God Bless you all.
Here I am almost 4 years since Aaron left this earthly life . The medical director
Kept saying Thank you for His service, I thought he thought Aaron was in the military.
But the reality Aaron William Marshall was a First Responder in the ER for 20 plus years. Aaron was an amazing ER nurse. I’m so grateful he dedicated his life to helping and being a First Responder. I Miss you my Bright blue eyed Son . I Love You ❤️

Be wary of the bait and switch tactics at this MemorialCare location. They are getting zero stars for over charging by $1700.00 but I can not post a zero star so I had to put one star.
I am so upset and frustrated that I was quoted $70 and charged $70 at the time of the visit for my daughter to be seen. I pay a lot for insurance and our copay for urgent care is $70 and MemorialCare confirmed that would be the price but only to get a bill three months later for $1720.00!. I would not have checked her in if my share of the bill was going to be $1720.00! She had pain in her foot and was getting an infection (not an emergency) I would have waited to have her seen the following day at my local urgent care. I talked to their billing and they said there is nothing they can do. I asked if I could pay a cash price as it would be much less and they confirmed it would be less but they can not rebill it???? . I have three children, work hard and pay for medical insurance and this is what I get? Don't go to this location unless you want to be overcharged

Nuclear medicine technician Viet was so friendly and pleasant. He explained everything in detail about the procedure before the stress tests. Very professional and knowledgeable about his job. He went above and beyond to make sure my daughter was at ease while she was doing the procedures. He is a great access at this Orange Coast Memorialcare Hospital. We wish we could get this kind of treatment everywhere. He has great personality and excellent customer service.
Thank you for being so nice. And we were very lucky to have him help us that day!

I'd like to praise the staff, nurses, and security guards at Orange Coast Memorial hospital.
My father had a big surgery, and everyone was very helpful and friendly when I was asking for help/directions.
Nurse Joanne Pereira in Oncology was taking care of my father, and she helped me stay calm and composed on the surgery day:
- with her professional, friendly, caring, and compassionate personality
- by answering all my questions with very simple and clear details for me to understand
- by giving me frequent updates on my father
Big big praise to nurse Joanne, and I'm glad that Orange Coast Memorial hospital has many outstanding nurses like nurse Joanne!
PS: My father was moved from Oncology to Surgical, and nurse Emmy N. was helping him when I visited him.
She was friendly, calm, and very helpful while helping my father and answering any question(s) we had.
Big big thanks to nurse Emmy, and to all nurses in the Surgical department too.

This place is an absolute disgrace. ZERO empathy. I was 12 minutes late—12 minutes!—and they had the audacity to tell me I had to reschedule. Are you serious? I waited TWO MONTHS for this appointment, and now because of a tiny delay, I’m being turned away? And at no point did they ever mention anything about a grace period for being late. How are patients supposed to know this? Meanwhile, I’ve always waited at least 10 minutes, if not more, after checking in to see the doctor. But suddenly, now they want to enforce time like clockwork? The hypocrisy is infuriating. As a patient, I expect to be treated with respect and understanding, not dismissed like my time and health mean nothing. Unbelievable.

Hold on to your wallet when you go here. Ask for a full patient financial responsibility before you begin treatment or else you too could receive $2000 in bills for 6 basic physical therapy sessions. Billing staffers are rude, inept and generally unhelpful.

All the nagging in the world could not get my 92 yr. old husband to drink water/fluids and eat at least two good means a day. Aug. 1st, he arrived in your emergency room and eventually in Cardi Telemetrics on the second Floor to be treated for "severe dehydration and dangerously low blood pressure and heart rate." Over the three days he was treated Dr. Maryanne Ibraham, Dr. Sethra Ngyuen and Dr. Stacy Howell, they explained every procedure and the reason it would be performed, in a professional and patient way for us to understand my husbandʻs status. Every one else, from "The Barber", Stephanee Lee, Alexander, our 1st night PCA? was so very gentle, kind, patient and pleasant, bringing me a lounge chair to sleep in next to my husband to RNs Michellee Moree, PCAs Lorena and Jessie Gonzalez Contressa who made my husband comfortable as he resisted their wanting him to use a portable urinal instead of letting him walk to the bathroom. Their calm demeanor and calling him "Papa or "Padre" was sweet and helped to calm him down. Energizer bunny RN "Jo" Chong kept me up to speed on everything happening to my husband, kindly teasing him to get him to do as they asked, gave me billing and Home Health Care information as well as making me warm and comfortable during three long days.
Iʻve had some terrible experiences in other hospitals with people not knowing how to read the BP/HR Temp. machines, disconnecting saline on a patient and taking a break to uncaring and unprofession nurses and abrubt Drs. OC Memorialʻs Cardi Telemetrics staff deserves some reward for giving this hospital a good name. Bonus?, pay raise?, Extra vacation day? You need to hold onto employees like these.

My visit to the MemorialCare emergency department early this morning was a reassuring experience. The staff, including Cornelius, Emily, Kathleen, and Dr. Douglas, were exceptionally cordial and helpful. I extend my heartfelt thanks to the entire team for their dedication and professionalism. Keep up the excellent work!

The physical therapy staff, especially Nina and Dale are by far the best. They take care of not only showing you the exercises needed after spinal surgery but also explaining why they are important. And when you walk in you are greeted with a smile by the receptionist. Should my doctor recommend more sessions I would gladly come back.

I called today to Physical Therapy and the office manager was so nice. My referral was sent to FV but they didn't do the service. The manager contacted my medical group case manager and rerouted the referral. Even called me back to call in case if I still needed help. Now this I call patient care. Next time if I do regular PT this is where I will go.

My 19 year old son was brought here in an ambulance from a bad reaction to pain meds from wisdom tooth removal. They checked his vitals and now we have been waiting for an hour and a half to see a doctor. I drove here so we’d have a ride home and had to be searched and scanned with a metal detector prior to entering the ER waiting area. This place is a dive. Go elsewhere if you have any choice at all.
