I graduated from MTS’s X-ray Tech / Medical Assistant program a few months months back. The education was good, with plenty of hands-on work (followed by three months in clinicals) and with teachers both knowledgeable and experienced in the subject matter that were willing to help with all expressed concerns. A few weeks ago, I passed the ARRT test and now I’m in the process of looking for employment in the field. I’m very pleased with the amount of support I get from the school in my job searches.

this has been one of the greatest experiences of my life! I cannot stress enough how helpful everyone has been and i feel so excited for my future as an Xray technician .. shout out to my friend Jafet and the entire staff at Modern Technology School.

I had a great experience! I am 3 years post grad now, have a great job that me get my foot through the door and build more experience and connections within the medical field. I am constantly receiving emails with the job placement coordinator and love the support they offer to help me reach out to possible employers. Mrs. Fazzone, Mrs. Chel, and Mrs. Parker were all so nice! It is a fast paced program and the professors do expect you to collaborate with your classmates, likewise to any other programs in any other school. Expect to do a lot of work and don't be afraid to ask for help!

How this school is still open is beyond me. Graduated like 13 years ago. Thought i was bettering my life. Never got a job. This school lied about their accreditation said I could sit for exams and get hired right after school. Only to find out they are in fact NOT accredited and no one will hire you without RDMS which I can't even sit for because no accreditation. I was young right out of high school and this school ruined my life. It was the worst choice I ever made. I now owe all this money for something useless to me. It was a huge scam, waste of time and money. I'm now stuck on welfare and haven't worked in 10 years because of ultimate depression. All I wanted was a career. No one ever reached out to me or helped me find something like they were supposed to. They sent a few emails of interview tips. Which was useless because I must have applied to thousands of places. Only had 3 interviews and once anyone found out I wasn't certified they wanted nothing to do with me. Those from my class that ended up with job had other non related qualifications or knew someone who was able to set them up. This school should not be operating. Do not waste your time and money with this place. I regret it every day and have even wanted to end my life because of it.

I would rate this school zero stars. Unprofessional, rude, can't ask questions, favoritism, care more about money than the actual success of their students doing good. No help setting you up for the future. I attended back in 2014 worst decision of my life. They lead you on to incorrect information that school provides. Avoid attending!! Save you money and the headache.

Would give this school ZERO stars if I could. The employees there are highly unprofessional. No one says hi or introduces themselves, they give attitude when we ask questions, it’s a big investment and commitment to pay for $37k tuition and because we came more than once to ask questions they got annoyed (Karen specifically). Avoid at all costs.

This school is terrible, racism is very real . Ms Sue the director is very mean, they all friends in the office . They retaliate if you have an issue I was treated unfair, and I feel is due to me being African-American.

I see based on some of these reviews this school is still a joke like it was almost 20 years ago. This is by far the worst school ever!!!. I can't believe they are still in business pretending to be an actual school. I went here in 2004-2006 when they were still located in Anaheim. I was taking the ultrasound program. I signed up and they told me the were fully accredited (big lie). 6 months in attending class, my son had to have surgery. I asked if I could have a couple days off to tend to my son and was told to take the rest of the quarter off and restart where I left off with the next class that was behind us. I went ahead and did that and everything seemed fine. I started my internship at a clinic in Irvine that only saw 2-3 patients a week. I went back to the school and told them I wasn't getting much experience at this clinic because of lack of patients. They then switched me to do my internship at Montebello Hospital and some hole in the wall OBGYN clinic in Chino. I lived in Irvine and had to spend a lot of time and gas to get there but, I stuck with it thinking it would all be worth it in the end. A week before graduation they came to our class and told us that they had lost their accredidation and had been trying to get it back for the last couple of years. They said they thought they would be accredited again by the time we were supposed to graduate but they were not. They said we could not take the state exam any longer to get certified. Everyone was completely shocked and upset. Then a couple days before graduation they pulled me in the office and told me I could not graduate and take my final exam because the year prior I had taken the time off for my son's surgery. I explained to them that this is what they wanted me to do and they said they could not help me. They expelled me along with 3/4 of the class once everyone started to complain because we had spent over 30k on a school that lied to all of us from the very beginning and they had already collected the last payment from everyone. We were all left with a 30k debt on our credit because of the student loans without any certificate to show for it. It was all a big, very expensive waste of time. Even the few that were able to graduate were not able to do anything with it because they could not take the exam and get their certificate. They were told to try and find a job on their own at a clinic or hospital that would take them in for a year without being certified. Of course no hospital would be willing to do this. In short if you are looking to go to school to become and ultrasound tech, DO NOT by any means choose this school. With the amount of money they charge for their ultrasound course lie, you can definitely get an actual education elsewhere.

Just want to update my review as I will continue to do as modern technology school defrauded me and put me into debt that I can not recover from years ago . Lied and misrepresented to me their accreditation. Sent me to a Terrible internship . Was sexually harassed in my internship and told the school who told me to deal with it . And left me there after outing me to the clinic for complaining about them . Had a solid case to sue the school but I tried so hard to get a job after and make it all worth it that by the time I was ready to sue , 12 months passed and statue of limitations which is ridiculous. Also there was a class action suit brought up in 2009 which they called me about them nothing happened . If you want to end up like me in debt from a useless waste of time them have at this school .

I am not going to lie... I was scared to go back to school for so many reasons. So much was against me and I kept asking for a sign to stay and keep going. All I have to say is Ms. Parker was def that individual who continously kept reminding me why this is all worth it. If it was not for her, always keeping her door open, taking time and sitting with me to check up on us in the class. I'd definitely would of left after the 1st week. I don't know what is it about Ms. Parker, but she genuinely does want the best for her students and she makes sure we have no excuse not to. Definitely a positive energy that at times we need to give us that push to keep going. Thank you, Ms. Parker!!!

Since I have started my MA/X-Ray class in August of 2021, I've had nothing but amazing things to say about this school and the faculty. My teacher Mr. Reyes is by far a great teacher and Mrs. Parker since day one has always been so positive and helpful. She is always pushing us to do great things. I feel very comfortable when going to talk to her about anything because she is very helpful and willing to go far and beyond for us students. I highly recommend this school for anyone trying to get into the medical field! Thank you to Mr. Reyes and Mrs. Parker for being amazing teachers!!!

since i've arrived at modern tech Miss parker and mr reyes have helped guide me through class flawlessly. Miss parker is one of the most hands on counselors out there, always positive always smiling and always ready to help. That attitude extends to her teachers who also are just as hands on and helpful. so far 10/10
