This Master Cuts location provided me with world class service. I walked in and was immediately greeted with hospitality and positive vibes. My barbers name was Ivan, that man knows hair and the shop name describes his skills because the dude hooked it up with a fantastic cut that made my gf melt when she saw what he did to my hair. His attention to detail from my mustache, to the fade and then overall look with all his tools was top tier. If you need a new barber or want to try a different shop, I highly recommend you stop by Master Cuts in Fountain Valley. While Ivan was cutting my hair another guy Jerry was there (I think he was the owner maybe), either way the dude was funny. When he engaged with me, as he was tidying the shop, he made me feel welcomed and was telling some good stories that made me reminiscent of that classic barbershop atmosphere and yet with their own twist of professionalism that I truly appreciated. Masters of their craft, phenomenal staff, customer/gf approved...I'm looking forward to getting back here, thanks y'all for my new look.

Jerry always has my son's haircut looking the best! Upon arrival, you're greeted by the most adorable frenchie. The stylist are just as friendly and the salon is kept clean. His customer's are great too, they carry conversations with my son, which makes it comfortable and the environment is great for boys to grow socially. Thank you for the best service!

If I could give this place a -1000 I would. I came in as a walk in hoping to get a clean haircut. Never again take your hair elsewhere dont come here. I don't know about the other barbers but don't get Tony. He messed up my whole head. I came in asking for his opinion because I didn't know what I needed to get since I have thinning hair. I said I was thinking of a taper. And he then exclaimed "taper?" Out loud and then I said I don't know what I want so I asked for his opinion and advice. I shouldn't have asked at all and just gotten a number 2 fade or something because I came out with a round bowl cut instead. He didn't give me any suggestions or advice on what kind of haircut I should've gotten. I was in there for almost a whole hour expecting to get a nice haircut. During the haircut I could see in the corner of my eye the other barber gesturing his hand motioning under his neck indicating like "oh this guy isn't gonna come back cuz that haircut looks messed up" but it clearly was and I don't know how they found it amusing? Not only that. At the end of the haircut he didn't show me how my hair looked at all. He also noticed I have thin hair and had the audacity to name a few hair growth products to "help" my haircut. Then when I go to pay I asked if they take In appointments for different barbers. All he says is that they do walk ins so I don't have to call. And "IF" I come back I can just call their card and ask for him. So during this whole interaction it was as if he knew I wasn't going to come back since he messed up my hair super badly. But that's not even the worst part, when I went to go pay he said the haircut was 25$ and I gave him 30$. This guy just straight up takes the money and doesn't give the 5$ CHANGE AT ALL. I was going to tip him anyways because of course you have to tip for the service. It's just the fact that he just STRAIGHT UP TOOK THE MONEY without mentioning anything or communicating like a "here's your change" to give me the option to give him the tip I want. HE JUST TAKES THE MONEY AND DOESNT SAY ANYTHING. Until I waited for a moment and he just says "have a nice day." Absolutely insane. What kind of business just takes peoples money like that? SUCH DISRESPECTFUL AND DISGUSTING customer service. 30$ haircut for a bowl cut is robbery. DONT GO HERE. ABSOLUTELY TRASH THESE CROOKS WILL STEAL FROM YOU. Never again.

I've been going to Jerry for over a decade and he's been the best barber I've ever had, I haven't really gone to any other barbers because I never needed to. Jerry is the best it gets I recommend him when you come here to get a haircut

Had a great experience. Jesse cut my hair exactly the way I needed it for a job interview. These men are professionals, clean, efficient and friendly. They have a great attitude and very competitive prices.

I have been going to this shop for nearly 10 years. Great place! It has been under new ownership the past couple years. The new owner is Jerry. Great guy, easy to talk to. The lady who cuts my hair is Vi. She was there under the prior ownership. Thank goodness she stayed!! If you want a friendly environment and great haircut, this is the place to go. Haircuts will start at $22.

Best barber in Orange County ... the main man, Jerry. Keeps everyone looking fresh, barbershop vibe is cool, and everyone's friendly. Jerry always remembers my kid's names and does great kids haircuts too. All around legit.
