Serious Concerns About Food Quality and Customer Service at Hamle Mediterranean Market!I am deeply disappointed with my recent purchase from Hamle Mediterranean Market. The baklavas I ordered were not only rotten and expired but had also completely lost their shape, indicating poor storage and handling. Upon contacting customer support to address the issue, I was met with a response that was dismissive and unprofessional, which only added to my frustration.It's disheartening to see a business not standing by its products, especially when it involves food safety. Additionally, there seems to be a discrepancy between the overwhelmingly positive reviews online and the quality of service and products I received, raising concerns about the authenticity of those reviews.I will be reporting this matter to the Food Safety Authority to ensure that no other customer has to experience what I went through. It's crucial for potential customers to be aware of these issues. I strongly advise exercising caution and considering other local options where quality and customer respect are priorities

I have ordered from Hamle Market a couple times now and have not run into problems. However my latest order of Sarelle bars were just thrown into a box loose and shipped that way. Out of the 5 we have opened to date, all 5 have been smashed or broken. I contacted their customer service but the only response I received asked me to send them a picture of every bar - well I ordered 14 of them, not every one has been opened yet, but they all rattle in their respective packages. Customer service also said that they always ship them this way and have never had a problem - which is both untrue (we've ordered them from this store previously) and completely unbelievable. They may have a good selection of Turkish stuff, but I'd avoid them unless its completely necessary.

Ordered bunch of stuff for the first time. While I liked several products I was extremely disappointed with their delivery time, quality of two products - both were rotten. Couldn’t believe they would ship/send customers rotten products including a package expiration date expired. Ordering meat products with 2-3 day delivery with melted ice packed by the time of the delivery is a bad sign of their business imo.Would be careful what to order next if I would order.

One of the few proper Turkish grocery stores in SoCal. Very wide selection of produce from the Balkans to the Levant. Prices are amazing for tea. Some items beloved by many are missing, though. I'd stop by if you are in the area.
