This review is for Darla. The real estate loan consultant. The experience with her was very unpleasant. She is very judgemental and her attitude is poor. She talked to us in a very condescending manner when we asked about loan options. Every question we had She didn't seem very interested in helping us. We decided to take our business elsewhere and with someone else with better customer service skills. Thanks, Darla for helping us choose someone else!

After being a member of Chase for years and getting horrible service multiple times - at multiple branches - over the last few months (not sure why their service declined so much), we went to this SchoolsFirst and it restored my faith in customer service again. Just Wow!!! I needed to open an account for myself and my minor son. We were greeted right away and though the branch was very busy we didn't mind waiting since every single employee seemed to have their hands full and doing the best they could. Emily helped us with our new accounts. She was very sweet and patient, especially with my teenage son since this was his first account. Later, the manager Sue came over to say hello and welcomed us to our new bank. Thank you so much SchoolsFirst and your excellent team! I think we have found our new bank for life.

I have been a member for 20+ years and I wouldn't change for anything. The employees here are very courteous and they help you with anything you need.

This was the first time I went to this location and despite the fact that it was continuously busy with people walking in and out. The staff was very welcoming and encouraging. I was there asking for a loan and the front desk was very nice and helpful. I spoke with Nataly about my loan. She was amazing!!

For my #ServiceStarShoutOut, I would like to thank my bank SchoolsFirst. While the national average interest rate for savings accounts is 0.06%, SchoolsFirst goes above and beyond for educators with their Summer Saver program. The Summer Saver program allows educators to save money from each paycheck in a savings account with a 2.5% interest rate. Thank you SchoolsFirst for your excellent service and for continuing to put educators FIRST. I have been banking with SchoolsFirst for a long time and not once have I ever had an unexpected fee. I appreciate working with this reputable credit union.

Went in to do an auto loan and worked with Haica she was able to get us the best pricing and to find the car we wanted we spoke to Thomas Hopkins. Employees like this really make the experience very amazing. Definitely come here and speak to them they are the best.

This review is for Haica at the SFCU on brookhurst in fountain valley She not only helped me buy my dream car but also walked me through the process the whole way. I apologize if this review is long but to shorten it would be a disservice to Haica and the team at SFCU in FV I first met Haica in 2019 when I came in asking about auto loans and personal loans. I originally went to BOA where I've held a checking, savings, and two credit cards with since I was 14, I'm 32 now. Needless to say I was turned away due to "limited credit history" Frustrated I left and had my brother introduce me to SFCU, where I met Haica. Not only did SFCU offer me the auto loan I needed; they also offered a personal loan to me as well. As for Haica; she held my hand and walked me through the process and differences of: auto loans vs personal loans, various types of interest rates, and scenarios depending on how much I paid a month and the length of the terms. She printed out all, not some, but all the options along with separate printouts of adjustments made to fit my needs. Talk about first class service. She explained everything with patience and was very thorough, slowing down every now and again to make sure I was up to speed. In the end I didn't even need it and even though I felt I wasted her time, she didn't bat and eye and even helped me opened an account. She even stayed after closing time to help me do it. I had come in with no appointment and was that guy that came in before close. Fast forward to 2020; I came back again, as THAT GUY, AGAIN. This time it was to buy the classic car of my dreams. I was lucky enough by chance to get Haica again and was beyond pleased to receive the same amazing service the second time around. Haica did the same thing again and printed out all the various scenarios of purchasing a car from a private party, the risk that were involved and even helped the seller fix his end of it by getting the car registration up to date. The process took about two weeks with Haica personally overseeing the transaction the entire time. Unfortunately, many things went awry and on the day of purchase the deal did not go through. Again more wasted time and again Haica didn't seem fazed. Two months later, I came in again, forever as THAT GUY who shows up late, before close, with no appointment with a list of issues no one can help with only a hour left. Needless to say I didn't make it easy but Haica did it. She got me my dream car! I was so over the moon, we even opened up a savings for my wife and son, and now today I'm bringing in my younger brother to open an account up there as well. I'm also purchasing another car; this time through SCFU. I cannot thank Haica and the people at SFCU in FV enough for how much they have helped educate me on finances and the purchasing of vehicles. I have already begun the process of moving my family away from BOA and you should too. Stop throwing money and time away at big banks who only view you as a number. Get to Schools First Credit Union on Brookhurst in Fountain Valley and ask for Haica! Just don't be THAT GUY. Hah. Here's a picture of the best banker I've ever had with the dream car she personally helped me get. Thanks so much Haica and see you again soon!

We have always kept our schools first account, even when we live out of the country or in another state. As long as you use other federal credit union ATM, there is no fee. They always offer very competitive rates on home loans and car loans, and loans are connected to the rest of our mobile banking. I feel bad when they had to install bullet proof glass.

Still waiting for funds. Put you through a multistep process to get your BTC. Their customer service stalls and tells you to wait a few hours, trying to create an account, their site shows errors. The BTC exchange rate is about 10% higher than market and they charge a fee on top of that.
