Stay away from this Chevron gas station and its car wash located at 8980 Warner Ave in Fountain Valley, CA (at the corner between Magnolia st and Warner Ave). . Its car wash system broke my side mirror. The side mirror was broken, fell off from its position, and dangling from the electrical wire. My vehicle was not drivable with such a dangling side mirror. Brandon B, the store employee filed an incident report, but never submitted it. When I asked him to temporary fix the side mirror so I could drive, he refused to help. This gas station is operated by G&M Oil. I called G&M Oil customer service, the cus rep Mayra Mendez was useless. They denied their liability for the damage to my car caused by their faulty car wash. They said the damage was a "normal wear and tear", and they said they had done an investigation that found no malfunction of their car wash system. This is unacceptable for the following reasons: 1. They claimed there was no issue with their car wash system, per their investigation. How reliable was the investigation, unless it was investigated by a third party? They might have fixed the issue prior to the investigation. They should have checked the system right after the incident, but they did not, so their claim was no valid. 2. If it is a "Normal wear and tear", the side mirror could not be easily broken unless it was hit by a strong force, which was the brush system of the car wash. There have been bad reviews for this gas station and its faulty car wash. I brought up this issue for those who read it would not encounter similar damage. I should have called a police to make the report, as its car wash system damaged my side mirror, made my car nondriveable given the dangling side mirror.

Card readers on all pumps don't work. For the last month, since they installed the NEW card readers, the Chevron/Texaco card doesn't work. Forced to go inside to pay for gas is a hassle. Go to another gas station.

This gas station has allowed a panhandler to stand outside for 6 years!! He IS NOT HOMELESS...he has a car that he gets into at night and drives back to his apartment. HE ALSO HAS A CELLPHONE in which he texts on and makes phone calls. DO NOT GIVE HIM ANY MONEY! The chevron will NOT age rid of him.

Not the best experience at all. The employees were rude and we got a soda and it tasted like a legit chemical (like cleaning supplies we couldn't even taste the soda). My mom drank it and is now getting sick we don't know what chemical it was.

Do not go here for a car wash. I assume the machine was broken. It got the car all soaped up and couldn't even rinse. We sat there for 5 minutes waiting for any movements. After reading other reviews it appears this happen frequently. We looped back around to the front and the light was "blue" allowing new cars come in for a wash.

Car wash is ALWAYS down! Don't offer me the option to buy a car wash then tell me it's down after. Fix it or get rid of it. They give you 14 days to use your code but my car is dirty today so I go across the street to the real car wash and never use the code..hmmmm, starting to wonder who the dummy is. :-)

Car wash broke and new employee named Atef cannot figure out how to give me my money back. He then locks up the gas station at 7 PM on a Saturday night with a note that he is on a break. Horrible customer service and refused to give me my money back or call a manager because he said he didn't know what else to do if I didn't have a receipt yet I could have shown him electronic evidence that I just bought that car wash. Ended up spending another $6 to get a 2nd wash so that I don't have drying bubbles on my car (he though I should just leave it that way until Tuesday).

Read my tip.. this place sucks. Hopefully this is resolved. I was overcharged be careful using your card at the pump or car wash.

Gas is 30 cents cheaper at the Arco a half mile west. And I don't like the way they try to mislead with their sign, cash then card prices. It's easy to miss and they know that. Keep drivin'.
