“Better selection / fewer out of stock items than Safeway - especially milk! Less hectic parking and store = better ambiance / shopping experience! Easter steak & potatoes from the deli were better than Town (popular steakhouse)! The lady preparing these really went above and beyond!”
“Breakfast sandwich was DELICIOUS. This pregnant lady highly recommends this place for a quick breakfast/lunch stop! The guys working there were very sweet and caring! Felt like family and it was my first time there! I wish I had a picture of my sandwich but I gobbled it up so quick”
“This is a very clean supermarket with a great selection of Mexican grocery products. Their selection of peppers is wonderful and the meats are of great quality and good price.”
“I recently visited Pacific Ranch Supermarket at 15833 Channel St, San Lorenzo, CA 94580, and it left a positive impression. This community market has a long-standing presence, providing excellent service to the locals. The selection of fresh food and seafood is impressive, making it a go-to for family essentials. The inviting atmosphere and overall experience make it highly recommendable. A reliable choice for quality and convenience.”
“Fresh sushi made on site. The Maya in the butcher case looked amazing. Awesome drink selections on the back wall! Small store with a surprisingly big selection and super friendly staff. Ample parking, Wells Fargo, and a Starbucks in the same shopping center.”
“Very organized and clean market. I came in for an ingredient I am not familiar with and the woman at the cashier knew exactly what I was looking for and showed me my options. This will definitely be my go-to shop for Indian/Figian grocery. Great location with pretty easy parking as there are a few parking lots around the corner”

1614 S El Camino Real, San Mateo“Looks nice! The owner offered help when I need, but there was a lot of food I'd never seen, so I thought I need to more learn those for my next visit. Some reviewers here said that they didn't show a food price, but I can now find the cost with food.”
“Oakwood Market has been a staple in East Palo Alto. The owners are very customer friendly and know their customers and community. They have variety of produce and proteins. The chorizo, breakfast sausage, party wings are a must get. Again they have a variety of things so go ahead and give them a try. Weather you're in Palo Alto , it's literally right over the bridge. They have a huge parking lot out side so you don't have to worry about that. Thanks again to the Oakwood family for taking care of the community and people. Much love.”
“Excellent grocery store with a wide selection. If I'm looking for one place where I can find high-quality steaks, fresh seafood, wonderful cheeses from around the world, a variety of produce, and a bunch of staples, Bianchini's is one of my top choices. To me, they're comparable to Draeger's in this regard, and above all other grocery stores in the area.”
“Just chiming in to say the sandwiches are still as good as I remember them from 20 or so years ago when this area was my stomping grounds. I happened to be in the area today around lunchtime. My first thought was to go to Sam's Sandwiches, but I found out they had closed for good. Next thought was Adeline, and I was happy to see they are open and thriving! I think what makes their sandwiches so good is the liberal use of thinly sliced red onion. Whatever it is, there's just something really great about what appear to be very basic sandwiches.”
“Cute and well managed small supermarket in a quite community in Redwood City. Great selections of everyday essentials and they sell also grab and go lunchables and snacks.”

1981 W Ave 140th, San Leandro“This is some og place that only grannies know where to get some bang for their buck. I only know cos my nanny brings her mom here to shop :D There is barely any service here unless you're an equally cranky elderly who has sass or a frequent customer. This is more of a wholesale place that sells bulk restaurant goods like plastic utensils, take out containers, baking aluminum supplies, old school plastic round washing tubs and chairs in primary school colors (iykyk), bulk baking soda and other seasonings/condiments, Chinese cooking sauces and oil in large gallon tin cans or jugs, lotus seed paste in bulk, dry soup herbs, and old school snacks like garden coconut cookie rings, sesame candies, plastic snack tubs of star sugar biscuits. There's some regular size commonly used Chinese sauces, aroy-d coconut milk $1.59 that usually sells for $1.99-2.29 elsewhere. Also saw Prima Taste brand laksa paste in bulk bag for $15!! that'll be good for at least 5 meals but it says use within 3 days. Definitely more for restaurant use or a large event. There's also veggies in a stand format at the front but not a lot of choices like your regular Asian supermarket. Four stars for cheaper prices but you're gonna have to navigate on your own in the narrow aisles which is open to the public but not really meant to be customer oriented. Probably not English speaking either fyi. They have frozen produce too but idk they look questionable in terms of how long they've been sitting there. Most of them are in these ice cream like chest freezers vs the usual store large open door freezers in supermarkets. There's only 3 or 4 parking spots near the entrance. Otherwise street parking which isn't difficult but may need a shopping cart or some help carrying in case you end up buying a lot.”

222 E 4th Ave, San Mateo“Draeger's Market in San Mateo is a culinary haven that never fails to impress. Here's what makes this place a standout: Beautiful Store Ambiance: Draeger's is not just a grocery store; it's an experience. The store exudes elegance and charm, creating a pleasant atmosphere for shoppers. The presence of a florist adds a touch of beauty to the environment, making every visit a delight. Irresistible Bakery and Cakes: The bakery at Draeger's is a sweet tooth's dream come true. The cakes are not only visually stunning but also incredibly delicious. From classic favorites to unique creations, their bakery never disappoints. Exceptional Prepared Food Department: For those days when cooking is not on the agenda, Draeger's prepared food department comes to the rescue. The variety and quality of ready-to-eat options make it easy to enjoy a gourmet meal without the hassle of cooking. Upstairs Extravaganza: The upstairs area is a treasure trove for kitchen enthusiasts. From home goods to unique kitchen tools, Draeger's offers a curated selection that elevates the shopping experience. The added bonus of special events and cooking school sessions upstairs makes it a multifaceted destination for food lovers. Celebrity Encounters and Book Signings: Draeger's goes above and beyond by hosting special events, including book signings by culinary legends like Lidia Bastianich. The opportunity to meet and learn from such influential figures adds an extra layer of excitement to the Draeger's experience. It's disheartening to hear about the potential changes to the building, but the prospect of a smaller version of the market on the first level provides some comfort. Draeger's Market has become a local culinary institution, and I hope the essence of this wonderful place continues in its new form. For now, I'll continue to savor the unique offerings that make Draeger's a true gem in San Mateo.”
“We each got a taco platter, so two tacos each--2 chicken, 1 lengua, and 1 al pastor... Tacos were more than decent--they exceeded my expectations. You see, I was led to believe we walked in to El Palenque, so I was excited until I discovered that we were actually somewhere that had only TWO stars, so I was a little nervous... Turns out the lengua was tender and flavorful, and the al pastor was very tasty! Fresh tomatillo salsa was VERY fresh, and the chips were also fresh and very tasty...rice was fluffy, and the beans were rich and well-seasoned...was a relief to see that it was actually pretty good!”
“The store is much improved from previous ownership and management. Much cleaner, more organized and the quality of the meat department much better as is the produce and bakery. The roasted chickens are also really good. Self checkout is a welcome addition. Only problem is they sold out their corn bread before I got there!!! It's delicious. Moist, corny and a little sweetness. Next time I'll get there earlier.”

13756 Doolittle Dr, San Leandro“Typical Asian supermarket with a variety of fresh vegetables, seafood, meats, can foods, frozen foods, and lots of noodles and snacks. Even roast pig and hot food items. Fun place to shop.”
“Got a chance to checkout the sandwich shop while I was in the area. It is a delightful sandwich stop conveniently located within the grocery store. If you are in a rush this shop has a wide range of options, and it's a go-to for a quick and tasty sandwich. Fresh ingredients and flavorful combinations make their sandwiches a solid choice. The service is quick and the people there are extremely nice. If sandwiches don't appeal to you they have plenty of other options that look delicious. The sandwich itself isn't out of this world but gets the job done. It is extremely filling and quite nice. They also toast the sandwich if you would like. Overall I would recommend this place if you are in the area.”
“The bakery here is Amazing! Not only did I get my wedding cake done here I have had them also do birthday cakes for my youngest daughter my grandson twice and now it's my oldest daughters turn! The lady head baker is by far the BEST in the whole area! Love her! She is my reason for returning time and time again! So thank you for keeping her year after year.”
“Lots of parking. People are friendly and willing to help you to find things.
You can find many items like medications of all types. They also have Asian and Indian food spice and sauce.”
