Unfortunately there is zero customer service. If you call the local number there is no way to get in contact with a live person. There is an option under 9 where it says doctor's can get information, but it rings and rings and says the voicemail is not set up. All I was trying to do was confirm that my lab tests are in the system. My Dr said she faxed them and sent me a copy. However logging in to the Quest platform they are not there. What a waste of my time.

If you are a doctor's office, please do not use this firm. The office staff is fine, but their leadership is inept and does not know how to run labs properly. They are always delayed and their customer service is non-existent, please stay away.

Check in was really easy at the kiosk, and they took me in immediately (I had an appointment). The folks there were really nice, and took me seriously when I told them I tend to pass out. They let me wait for a specific room with a lay flat option to draw blood to become available. The did seem short staffed (it seemed only two people were working, one checking people into their rooms and getting their paperwork/vials ready and the Phlebotomist. My phlebotomist was awesome! She was kind and patient, checked in during the draw to make sure I was okay, and encouraged me to take it slow after and brought me a water. Definitely will come back here for future blood work, this was one of the best experiences I've had getting blood drawn.

I want to shout out to the two wonderful women at Quest Foster City. I stopped in on a rare day off as a walk-in and was only able to schedule an appointment for 7 and a half hours later. Within 10 minutes, Rimi came out to the lobby and asked if I wanted to wait until 2:30, or do it now. Success!....except now the doctor's orders were not in the system. Lorelei spent extra effort hand entering the orders from my Stanford app into the Quest system. She drew my blood, and I was on my way. Thank you, Rimi, and especially Lorelei!

It was a very smooth operation because Chen, the lab technician is competent and experienced. I was in and out in less than 5 minutes. The only suggestion I have is Chen could have been friendlier and conversational; therefore, one star withheld .

Even for a walk-in appointment ( was sent by my Doctor Who has an office down the hall )you still have to wait a obnoxious amount of time. With no one else in the lab I still had to wait, then when it looked like I was on top, they decided to take a 15 minute break and penalize me for not having an appointment, which is a ridiculous process. More than one quest lab penalize you for not making an appointment and has a defunct appointment schedule. First come first serve it's seriously not an option.

The guy is completely uninterested in doing his job. I have email from quest for a test, an appointment, and it's showing up in the app that I have a test. But he said he needs to go for lunch and he can't find it in his system so he won't do it. There want any attempt to figure out how to problem solve. After wasting 30 mins I decided to go to a different provider.

I was a walk-in (no appointment), got there right when they opened and waited about an hour, which I thought was pretty good. The phlebotomist was friendly, efficient, and got my vein on the first poke and I barely felt it. One of the best blood draws I've had. She was excellent!

5 stars, hands down! Super clean, polite and friendly service, plenty of free parking, 30-minute wait only for a walk-in, easy to find. The lady drawing my blood was so careful and amicable. It seems that mostly derogatory reviews are related to walk-ins and then it’s on us, and not the place. For reviews to continue being helpful, we need to be unbiased and honest. The place does everything it compromises to do in an outstanding manner. I did have to wait since I didn’t have an appointment, but this was on me, not on Quest.
