Araceli is evil, do not trust her with your money. She is manipulative and a liar.

This is the worst bank when it comes to customer service. We sat there for 30 mins waiting for someone to attend us and all of them sitting inside the fish bowl looking busy. Don’t go here for your banking needs.

I am writing to express my deep disappointment with the recent service I received from this bank. The lack of courteous communication and discriminatory treatment towards EDD cardholders are unacceptable. They should treat each customer with respect and dignity but that does not happen here. It's a repetitive behavior and glad they will no longer work with EDD.

I deposited a check through the app and after 2 days the check was placed on hold and will be available after 10 days. The client who wrote the check is a Trustee Lawyer and the check is from Chase. B of A kept me for over 1 hour after that the customer service put me on hold for me to talk to the manager and came back and said, the manager is busy so I will put you through another manager, waited for over 1 hour and no one ever came. Called again and the California Rep. Briana P. informed me that it is customary to put holds and it will last over 10 days to secure money from Chase which makes me believe Chase is going under like Silicon Valley Bank. 3 hours in total and no resolution.

They’re too busy to take walk-ins. They don’t pick up the phone to answer calls to the branch. They rather take new money and open new accounts than service existing customers with timely needs. Skip this branch and this bank. No one cares about you here. I couldn’t even wait in the lobby for the next available person at 10am in the morning (I was told no one could speak to me the entire day). They gave me an 800 number to call and wouldn’t even help me get an appointment for a death claim for my mom who’s been banking here for 30+ years. Embarrassing service level in a time of need.

I love it here!! I always end up going with the teller Shatabdi (I hope I spelled it right), she's always so nice to me. Araceli is also really nice and helpful. I don't feel stressed at all coming here, I don't know what people are talking about, just chill!

The branch does not have enough employees as it seems. We came to the bank to open a business account. They assigned a credit adviser to us (not a business account person). The lady had a lot of experience in banking. She was great. However, we could not complete because the bank did not have an option for executives who are out of the area to come and sign papers at a location close to them. It appears that all shareholders and executives from all over the place have to come to a single location at the same time. The lady suggested that we schedule an appointment for a faster service. It seems like BOFA does everything possible to reduce the number of accounts people open. I tried calling this location and others (close to our office), but none picked up. I tried calling 1-800 and after 20 minutes I gave up. I emailed the lady who helped us this morning, and heard nothing back. I called her number - did not pick up. I tried to schedule online, but there were no appointments available for 2 weeks. It seems like they are mute and are quietly closing down. I cannot open a business account for 2 weeks??? This is ridiculous.Update: The credit adviser who helped us in the morning (Aracely Garcia) called me after the bank business hours (kudos!) and scheduled me with her (business person was not available). She did above and beyond and opened the account for us, provided all the information, arranged online access. This was not her job, you know. We appreciated it a lot.I feel like BOFA is highly mismanaged, understaffed, and only a small number of experienced employees, like Aracely, still make it work. Based on the experience with BOFA, it seems like the higher management (way above the branch management) are incompetent and the employees, working on the field, have to sacrifice their personal time to mitigate the incompetence of their generals. BOFA will not survive this. I am business person myself. I would not be surprised if they are looking to sell the bank.

Stopped by here on the way home from a teacher training because I received an email about ordering a Subway sandwich in Massachusetts. I figured it’d be faster to file a fraud claim in person since you literally wait for 30+ minutes on the phone, but the lady said to do it on the app. No, I want to speak to someone. I live in California, not Massachusetts. Horrible customer service. They’re more worried about closing on time at 5pm than actually helping customers.

Bank of America makes it very difficult to get your own money. I needed to do a large wire transfer. Logged into my online account. After asking me to enter the two factor identification code (text to phone) about a dozen times (every 15 seconds or so it prompted. It did the same on the mobile app where it auto fills it for me from the text message and yes, the 6 digit code was correct each time), it told me I had to call their service center. After being on hold for about 30 min., the service center told me I had to go to the bank. Get to the bank and I have to make an appointment. Something that should take minutes takes days. On top of that, they charge a fee to transfer the money. No wonder I usually use my credit union.

Financial representatives were courteous and helpful but didn't like the wait time past the appointment time.
