All the reviews are right about this place being awful and the folks being rude. Bought a bunch of things and when I asked for a bag they said it was a charge. No big deal, pretty standard. He then refused to let me purchase one because it wasn't 'wasn't worth it' for him to run a credit card for the bag since he had already closed the sale. He told me to go get cash and come back.Edit: Hours posted are also not reliable. Photo is 45 minutes before posted closing time and got nothing but a head shake when trying to go in. There are just better options super close.

High prices, they are price fixing with the shell up the road.Card readere are broken often and they don't have an atm(That was strike 3 this morning, I'm not taking this review down, don't like it? Take it up with your cc servicer not me, fix your equipment)

I've been going to this location for over 7 years never a problem,two new younger female cashiers have made my experience here lately horrible,I gave them more chances thinking we all have bad days and. Don't know why but they are rude and have a bad attitude .I'm sure they run into mean people daily but I have always been nice so I'll shop elsewhere.

It has been a while since we used the Foster City ARCO for any auto work. This past week they have done a huge overhaul of our Honda Odyssey, including putting in a rebuilt transmission. They gave us a great deal and provided excellent service. Thank you for your personal attention and service. The van drives like new!

It's horrible. They have signs with prices that they refuse to honor. Clerk wad very rude saying there is nothing he can do even if there is a clear sign with the price. Told me to come back the next day to make a complaint. Uh, hello! This is a "convenience store" how is it convenient for me to come back the next day??? Forget it. I'll just start going to the Shell station.

My car's check engine light is on, I went to this garage three times to repair the same problem, they did not fix the problem, just keep changing different expensive parts (gas pump, etc) and delay the repair time. I eventually need to wait for one week to get the car back, when I started the car, the light turned on after a while each time. Finally I gave up and went to another shop which finally fixed the problem, it was a pressure sensor. I have another problem related the anti-lock brake but they recommended to replace four tires which I knew is not related and did not do it.

My son visited the AmPm station this week to cash in some lucky lottery tickets. Fortunately he knew the value so when the cashier tried twice to short his cash, my son had to have the person recheck. There was no remorse over the bad calculations, he kept telling my son he was wrong. I would be sure that you know how much you are expecting to receive back in cash and not trust that the cashier is an honest person.

Had to use this gas station yesterday as I happened to be in Foster City and needed gas, I couldn't believe that they only take Debit cards no credit cards. Of course they take cash but I never use cash for gas because I don't carry it. At any rate, not only do are you forced to use a debit card, you pay an extra charge for a using the debit card which they don't publicize. Because debit cards aren't as secure to use, especially at gas stations, I only got $20 worth of gas. After all that, when I was pumping the gas, the pump cut off at $19 plus change. So no credit cards( unheard of) pay extra to use debit card and then not get your moneys worth Glad I don't have to use this gas station again.

This is a long overdue review. I have been taking my cars to this auto repair shop for six years. They are reliable, experienced, and honest! I feel very lucky that I have found honest mechanics! I'm about to buy another car. They agreed to check it out for me to sure I don't buy a lemon.

Just needed my check engine light looked into. Turns out I didn't screw cap on tight enough. I got a full tank at the convenient location on site and was on my way with no charge. Service was from a Giants fan!
