Typical military installation hotel. Breakfast was alright, nothing to write back home to mom.

Needs to ban pets. Broken, exposed outlets with the head of the mattress pushed against it. Unresponsive evening staff (late night and morning staff were good). Coffee out of order. Hall smells like marijuana, vomit, and curry. Probably haunted.

Clean rooms and friendly staff. Things were a little dated but far from the worst hotel I've stayed at. Just wish there wasn't carpet in the rooms, but it wasn't dirty or nasty looking. Just a preference for me.

The convenience of the location is amazing if you have work at Fort Irwin. It’s better than driving the 41 miles one way from the outlets. The pillows are hard the bed is Steve . The sheets are rough. The staff is amazing..

I've stayed in plenty of hotels across numerous installations... I would say that the convenience of the hotel being on the base is the only perk. The staff is super friendly, but the overall quality of service delivered to the customer needs improvement. This picture is the minimal effort from the owners to its customers. The food was just enough to make you go to the shoppette and buy the "tornado roll" that may have been there cooking for a few days. At least they yey and hopefully the owners improve on this location.

The facility needs an update BADLY, but the staff is fantastic. The furniture is worn out- not just worn, but worn out. I figured out about the third night to sleep in the middle of the bed. If you are on one side or the other, your back will protest in the morning. The staff, on the other hand, was exceptionally helpful and friendly. They're probably making the best of it, so I did too.

The only option within an hour. Was clean and I expected worse. Should be cheaper but was fine ,no frills.

This hotel is the only hotel within close proximity to Fort Irwin. I stayed here when my daughter had her baby and, did not want to make a daily 40 minute drive back-and-forth to a nicer hotel off the base. I spent an extra nine dollars to upgrade to a suite. Which was well worth it because I was on the top floor with no one above me. I had a much more spacious and quiet room. I was here in July during the base leave, meaning the base was pretty empty overall I’m not sure if that contributed to it being less busy and quiet. The decor of the rooms is horrendous. Green carpet, red wall paint. Bring slippers. I did not want to touch the carpet with bare feet. The mattress was not comfortable. My biggest complaint about the room was the curtains. They are not black out and do not go to the floor. So every day I was awake at sunrise. Also, temperatures were rising in July and my air conditioning unit did not work in the bedroom of the suite. So I had to lower the temperature in the living room area to keep the bedroom cool. Which was very annoying. I did have housekeeping services daily, my bed was made, and fresh towels brought in. Which was very nice. I did have to go to the front desk to ask for a laundry bag and some lotion. Those were not included in the room. The breakfast was marginal. The bagels and bread choice were hard and stale literally every day like they came out of a freezer. There were fresh fruit cups in the little mini fridge that were palatable. And, apples, oranges, bananas in a fruit bowl to take back to your room or on the go. Not much as far as gluten-free or dairy free choices. I would love to never stay here again. But, unfortunately, there are no other options if visiting family at Fort Irwin so, just prepare yourself.

Only hotel available on base is pretty much the only plus. Rooms are overpriced for the cleanliness and how out of date they are!Rooms: Out of date and not very cleanNearby activities: Not much unless you have family on base lol! Barstow is 40 minutes away

Gave me a handicap room and it bathroom floods. Same little breakfast everyday. No eggs, no sausage. Laundry room is behind a exit door which you have to play hide and seek to find it. Elevators are out. Everyone pays all this money for what?

Location is great if you are staying on Irwin. Needs some updating but it’s pretty standard for an on post hotel.

The building is quite old. The elevator Takes forever, just remember to bring your own pillow co'z their pillows are hard as rocks other than that the service is very good all staff members are accommodating and very helpful and nice. Rooms smelled really clean, even at the lobby it always smelled clean and fresh. Housekeeping always made sure we had what we need. It's always a plus for me when it's pet friendly.

Okay, so the INN is old; if you're looking for the Hilton, this ain't it. Rooms are a bit old, furniture is old and looks like standard barracks furniture. Nothing fancy. Breakfast is simple but not bad at all. The service is really good, professional personnel. Always greeting and smiling at guests. It's close to everything and a pretty clean place overall.
