Coming from out of town, I lost the money order due to my own negligence. Fortunately, Charlie & Rachel enthusiastically and diligently helped to deal with it. Thank you very much for your kindness and love. It warms our hearts to help us in this city.
This is the best post office person I have ever met.

I got harassed by workers and then people in line at this location and I will be filing a complaint with the post master and legal proceedings for the undue harassment. They lost my package and then said it was at the post office so I showed up to get it and the impatient lady at the desk just seemed content with saying it was a scam and that it was my fault that I had been scammed, I disagreed. She got rude. There was a group of people in line behind me listening there that started making fun of me saying I was dumb because everyone else there agreed that I had been scammed and the female at the desk with long dark hair on Sept 5 12:35 pm was agreeing with them. She made it way worse because they all turned against me when she said it. She could have been professional and kept order but she was in it with them. Worst experience ever at a post office. I told those in line to stay out of my business because they were becoming verbally aggressive by now and the lady worker yelled at me instead of telling them to quiet down. Then the male worker fifties white guy took me aside and found my package only after the group in line was done ridiculing me and the male worker no name tag but dirty unkept shirt to go with his attitude cussed at me saying damnit when he was speaking with me. I reprimanded him for losing his professional demeanor and cussing at me in front of ten people in line and he got quiet because he knew he was wrong. I left that day feeling harassed and emotionally abused when all I wanted was my package.

Delivered one of my packages and then proceeded to say they were unable to deliver the second one the same day. Doesn't make sense.

Why is the website so complicated? I just wanted to email to ask about adding my own mail box at my address. Because my niece rents my moms house to help pay for my mothers Bill's. My niece locked me out of her mail box. I can't get my mail because she has the only key. How do I file charges against her for stealing my mail?

Very disappointing. As a former USPS employee, the service here is without care (at least our carrier). The last 7 mail orders have been sent back without attempting delivery to address on package. While the postmaster is accommodating, the carrier we have (who knows, always changing) is totally incompetent. Not to mention at least 3 pieces of mail lost and delayed for several weeks. The post office needs to reinstate standards in their hiring process.

Our service has certainly taken a dive lately. We have had numerous misdirected packages, squashed packages, and packages left on the driveway or the lawn. We’ve received slips to pick up at the post office only to get there and find out the package, small enough to fit in our mailbox, had no requirement to sign for. Today I tried to fax them a request to please stop putting packages on the lawn. Either the fax number on their website is no longer valid (I have sent faxes there before) or they have blocked my number. I realize they are under pressure, but it takes more time to fix a problem than to just do it right the first time. We pay for a certain level of service, and lately that service is not being provided.

I saw my package worth over $200 handed to another customer. Multiple problems here. I reported theft case#27393250 with postal inspector and local Fort Bragg Police dept.

If you go in there with a stanky my attitude you will always have a stanky review and time. Try just a smile through your mask and things will just be calm. Yes we wait but it's a small town and they work so hard. Think about how many packages they deal with on a daily. The fact that they try is worth a great review. People who are stanky attitude will always complain. I love it and if you don't go to Santa Rosa for a little humble pie. That will change how you look and feel about our small local post office.

Support staff in general, are terrible on the coast. Many view their jobs, as making sure no one gets over and of course, shucking and jiving with friends. That said, the post offices are extra bad. They have caused me so much grief, over arcane regulations. I have an account at the regional distribution center, where the exact same issues are disregarded. Then there are the issues, of outrageous gross incompetence. With no accountability whatsoever, of course. Not even apology. Like, "oops, your box rent is actually current, but we closed it and sent your mail back for not paying."
