Thank you Cycle Shop I really had a HARD TIME! With my rear hydraulic brake. Was done super fast, and was greeted with great enthusiasm. Overall excellent service :)

Took my new Trek Marlin 8+ in because of a crash. The rear derailleur cable housing was toast. They replaced it for $227. Seems outrageous for the issue. I don't think I've ever paid more than $75 for a cable replacement.

Half way through our tandem tour we stopped in for some help with the rear wheel on our tandem. The mechanic was very helpful and knowledgeable. While working on our tandem they recommended we go next door for some pizza…several beers later we returned for the tandem and paid a very reasonable price for the work. They were very accommodating and helpful.

I am biking down the coast of California and was so excited to get to a bike shop where someone could give me a proper drive train clean and lube up my chain. I walked in to ask about this and the woman working was the rudest person I've ever met a bike shop. She just looked at me and said, "You don't know how to lube a chain?" Of course I do, but I'm tired and have biked 260 miles and want to pay someone to do a deep thorough clean. I couldn't get over how incredibly rude she was... like do you realize you're running a bike shop?!?!

No need to ever walk into this shop. I recommend you go to Dave's In Ukiah where the respect and attention you get is the polar opposite of this place. I had to see for myself if someone was going to talk down at me and turn their back On me for no reason other than a question about the local bike path. I can't believe people so rude could still be in business. Guess the have a market cornered.

By far the grumpiest bike shop I've ever been in. And since I worked in the industry a while - I've been in a lot. These people should get new jobs. They give bike shop owners a bad name.

If your riding or racing the pacific coast bike route and find yourself in need of help and figure great there is a bike shop in Fort Bragg Just go in and hold your breath and buy your tubes or get what you need. Just don't expect any love. Prepare for grumpy. But be thankful he is open and has what you need. He helped me out too.

I never have quite understood why a pair of people who so obviously have disdain for the majority of people they meet would choose to do a job that requires customer service. Their is something like anger oozing out of every interaction. I bought a tube at the shop and the stem failed after the first ride out. I brought it in and Marc told me right away after my explanation that what had happened is that I put a new hole in the new tube. He asked me if I had left the retainer ring on the inside, I told him I didn't. So with no discussion he took my rim, installed a new tube and then charged me for the new tube, no credit for the faulty one. I guess I should consider myself a lucky guy.

We r cycling from Canada to Mexico. Finally we find a top end bike shop! Knowledgeable, have top quality road and gravel bike parts and mechanics. We had a broken derailleur and needed brake pads. They immediately helped us out and kept us rolling. Top ratings!!! Thank you Follow us at: Mission Possible Border to Border

I met Marc and Tina the way hundreds of others have met them. I was on a long bike tour and my bike had issues that needed the attention of a professional. Like other reviewers, I was (at first) taken aback by the brusk communication I received. I felt like I walked right into an Elizabeth Strout novel. As I waited for Marc to finish working on a bike, I figured it out. If Tina and Marc would have greeted me with a smile and asked me about my bike tour, I would have talked their ears off. I would have told Marc all about my new Schwalbe tires with their $40.00 tubes etc. etc. Long distance bike tourists can be a lonely sort. When treated with any kindness and curiosity, we can talk for hours about the highs and lows of our trip. Marc & Tina would not get ANY work done. So, as Marc ripped my $40.00 tube out of my 100.00 tire and chucked it in the bin to replace it with a trusty butyl tube, I felt nothing but respect. I was soon on my way. Other customers were being served and served well. Just like the infamous soup guy in NY and Bob of Bob's Well Bred in Los Alamos, Marc and Tina are great at what they do. I, for one, am glad they don't waste energy on congeniality and small talk. They got me rolling. Thank you!

So disappointed. The condescending, rude attitude as others have mentioned was in full view today. No way will we patronize this business.

Was in town visiting and badly bent my derailleur. Steve took great care of me. Was reasonably priced and had my bike back later that day. Thanks again!
