The people at this bank are the salt of the earth. They help in anyway they can. Been with the bank before it was bought out by PNB Parabos. Watched that company ruin customer relations over 25 years. In business for 28 years, almost had one check bounce from a customer. The company sits on about 10% of my checks for 2 or three before they "release" my money to me. I wonder how much interest the company makes on all that money that sits in limbo. The people that work at these branches Are The Best.

Worst bank ever. They won't cash money orders and other checks. They said they aren't a check cashing place. You are an Fing bank! You suck!

So to pay rent each month, I need to get a cashier's check from my current bank, bring it to a Bank of the West, and input it into to my landlord's account. Bank of the West makes this difficult because they open later than most banks and close earlier than most banks, then on the weekends they are flat out closed both days. It just makes timing difficult when you are working long hours to keep income coming in for the household. I left work early today and just barely made it to the only branch along my hour and twenty minute route home, right at 4:35pm to find that they had taped a piece of paper to the window saying they changed their hours and will now be opening even later and closing even earlier in 2021... So I'm officially late for paying rent this month and it just became more difficult to time. Next time at least have the decency to change your store hours online so I could've tried to plan for it instead of getting completely surprised. Can't wait until robots can completely replace bankers so I don't even need to go in to a Bank to get special transactions done.

Bank of the West has been calling me once a year to inquire about an ATM machine they said I had in my private residence. I never had an ATM machine and why would I have one in my home anyway? I would call back once a year and tell them I didn't have one in my home. This year, 2018, they called me again. I eventually called them back. I was told because I they did not hear back from me in a timely manner, my checking and saving account was closed. They little money left in it is gone. I credit this new way of operating, in part, to the manager who has been there for about 2 years. He's the only one in the branch that wears a yellow five-thousand dollar tailored skin tight suit, while the rest of the emp[oyees wear navy blue. I would close out the account, but they did that for me and took the remainder of my money as well. Don't tale my word for it. Experience it for yourself!
