My little sister had her wedding here some hiccups with the wedding planner, but the location was beautiful and the rooms were nice. Great service food was cold, but the ambiance was great. Uber/Lyft from the venue are wildly expensive out of control of the venue just a heads up.

The Monte Verde Inn is a beautiful location for your wedding. The grounds are well kept and gorgeous, and the staff is detail oriented, professional and friendly.

Nice place. Good service. Great location and grounds. However some areas of the buildings need some upkeep. Example is exterior paint in the rear building. Overall nice to very nice place. Feels far away from Sacramento but only a short drive. Very close to Auburn and local areas for outdoor stuff.

Such a beautiful wedding venue! We got married here in July of 2023. Everything was perfect and so special thanks you the Monte Verde team and the wedding coordinator Sydney. Every part of the process was made easy from the planning to the big day itself. When the day arrived, Sydney ensured everything was set up and that we were on time. There was not a moment of stress leading up to our day, which is exactly what we wanted.The food was wonderful, the ambiance was light and fun. We ended up staying at the Inn the night of our wedding which was so worth it. We got to say goodbye to all of our guests, which is what we wanted. In the morning, the Monte verde team had boxed everything up neatly and placed the items by the door for us.Overall it was a beautiful day with great food, great memories and one we will never forget!

Ok so I could say a lot about this venue. Overall, I loved them, but there were a few things that could have been better.The picture here look pretty accurate and a good representation of the venue. There are some small changes to the ceremony background but all good things. One note, however, the arch is off center to the pavement/trees/standing area, so we had to spend a lot on asymmetrical arch florals to make it less noticeable. Our photographers were pros at making it look great but it was something I thought about a lot until the big day. They had a lot included in the venue package price, the food, the cake, the tables and all the dinnerware, and half the florals and they had a great recommendation list for the rest of the vendors. I would say that the venue is closer to the road than I expected so there is some traffic noise. They (and many of my vendors) kept referencing their sister property up the road, to the point that I almost wondered if I picked the wrong one by not seeing that one first. So that wasn't great. And we didn't get to take any leftovers. We got a few of our cake pieces (but not even from the original cake, but the extra guest pieces) so we literally got 2 bites of a cake that we spent a lot of time getting excited about and that was it. We didn't get any food to take at all, even though we paid for it, even though there was extra, even though they took our plates and put them aside for us for later. So I don't know what happened there and we were pretty bummed. We barely tasted the food we spent months picking and planning and then didn't get a chance to enjoy it later. I will say, ALL of my guests RAVED about the scallop potatoes. So I know the food was good, I just wish I got more of it. Otherwise, the backyard reception space is like a garden fairytale. It is all green and beautiful with twinkle lights and trees all around. The trees were probably my favorite part. And the inn house was such a fun element to the property. We got to get ready inside and take really gorgeous photos all over the property.

Not the bride just a wedding attendant and we have been to a dozen family and friends weddings in the last few years all at different venues and this was a beautiful and charming little venue, probably one of my favorites locally.The area is beautiful if you're not familiar with Forest hill it's got the rustic charm to it( it's in the gold mining hills of the 49 ER gold rush days) lots for your guests to do and see while visiting the area!With the weather this year the mosquitos were bad for a short while then it was too cold for them, a little confusing on entrances for parking, I would suggest signs if your hosting your day there. They had adequate parking and bathrooms, dinner was alright, appetizers were good, staff was polite and on que. Looked like they supplied many items to save on added rentals Their grounds are beautifully kept, foliage, trees, and florals growing there are beautiful displays as well. It's overall a romantic little venue not meant for a huge crowd in the wedding area but I could see how hard the staff worked to make the couples day very special indeed. Definitely worth checking into if you're planning your special day!

My daughter and now son in law were married at Monte Verde Inn Oct. 14th. I cannot believe what a wonderful experience it was. The tri tip and chicken were amazing. The service of the wait staff was perfect. The dressing rooms, and property were perfection. And the ease and ability for vendors to do their thing was obvious. It went so smoothly! And there was never a tense moment that we saw amongst the staff. The reason it all went beautifully? Sydney, our coordinator.From the moment we met her, she had it all under control. Sydney's communication skills, organizational talent, calm spirit and friendly demeanor made it seem like your best friend was coordinating for you. Truly, she made everything wonderful.I cannot recommend Sydney and Monte Verde Inn more highly. I was kinda wishing we could do it all again.

My then fiancé, now husband, and I chose to have our wedding at MVI and officially celebrated our wedding on 9/3/2022. Sydney, was not our initial coordinator however, upon her being assigned to us she immediately communicated with us and made sure to put us at ease. She was extremely communicative, organized, detail oriented, energetic, and patient. Having never been married we often had questions! She was always more than willing to answer our questions and offer us suggestions. She ensured that our wedding day was exactly what we wanted. We can't in words express the amount of gratitude we have for Sydney because without her, we feel like our wedding would not have been the same amazing experience that it was.We chose the Vineyard package and upgraded to have light blue linens to match our color scheme. We also chose to have an open bar for all of our guests. We loved having these options to customize our day. They also allowed for us to bring in all of our decorations on the day before our wedding which made for a much easier day of the wedding. The getting ready rooms for the bridal party were exactly what we needed. There was plenty of room for the 5 groomsmen and 8 bridesmaids + glam squad of 4 to help us all get ready. MVI provided us with glassware, waters, and a mini fridge that we were able to use for those pre ceremony mimosas. The food, drinks, and dessert were all delicious. Our communication with the included vendors were all fantastic. Ambiance floral for flowers and Devine Bakery for our cake all made sure to bring our visions to life. Overall My husband and I are extremely satisfied with MVI and would recommend this venue and Sydney to any couples in search of an all inclusive but customizable wedding venue.
