I have been a customer for a few years now, I still drive up the hill for my repair needs. After reading some of the reviews I have this to say... David has always listened to my thoughts on my vehicle issues and has never tried to upsell me on unnecessary work. There is no father son part of his business, that is obviously an old Hill grudge. Let me know where you can find better hourly shop rates...Services: Steering & suspension repair

IF I COULD MARK THIS WITH A - 5 STARS, I WOULD.VERY POOR WORK. ASK AROUND JUST A LITTLE YOU WILL FIND MOST EVERYONE HAS PROBLEMS WITH THIS SHOP! The owner is a Child with a business Lic. Regularly blows up at customers, he lies about what the cars need, especially if they're too old or infirmed to check on his story. I have an older lady friend of mine and a friend in a wheelchair; both were told stories about oil leaks and given quotes of $750-$1000 to fix the problems. I told them to take their cars to Foresthill Garage, they did, and both were $10 fixes lose oil filters and such.I have known this family for over 30 yrs. It gives me no pleasure to make this post!I continued (past tense) to have my trucks and cars serviced here only because of my long-term friendship with Ted Brown, the father. I have lost all respect even for Ted as he is working there knowing his son is stealing from the old and creating work to stay busy. Not many cars out front anymore. I think the word is out there, but in case any of you good people were wondering. DONT DO BUSINESS WITH THE BROWNS!

Amazing people. I made an appointment to replace my entire rear light (large) which I purchased online. They quoted me $50. I made an appointment and told me to come back in 20-30 minutes. As I was walking next door to get something to drink, they yelled, "If you can wait 2 minutes it will be done". They tested it top, rear and bottom.I waited a few moments and when I tried to pay, he said no charge. Wow, I didn't know that businesses did that. I will make them cookies.They have my business! I told my son and now he is taking his vehicle in (major repair) and he lives 50 miles away.PS the auto body shop in Rocklin quoted me $150. Synthetic oil change is $40.

Check with BBB before bringing your vehicle in. Absolute low life operation - both father and son. Brought a car in years ago to which they did nearly two thousand dollars in damage and simultaneously selling me a lemon while working on my original vehicle. A report was filled with the BBB after the son threatened to physically assualt me when I told them I wanted to be reimbursed for the damage they'd caused, and had my reviews on Yelp removed. Its sad to see what drug addiction does to people. Good luck on having this one removed gentlemen!
