the maintenance package they offer is only for Valley Kia. I specifically asked when i bought the car if i could use any kia dealer since i knew i was not going to stay in the area long and they said yes but now that i no longer live near fontana either i drive two hours or pay $400 for the shceduled maintance i already paid for.
They also try to get you to pay for all fluids to be flushed at 8000 miles saying it is recommended and have you sign a paper saying you refused the service. Fluid flushing is not mandatory and also usually not recommended till 30000 miles. dont fall for their scams.

After the negative purchase experience we had at a different Kia dealer, I knew I wasn't going to go back to that place. They'll have to pry a nickel out of my cold dead hands before I give them any money ever again. And after calling yet another Kia dealer trying to set up the first maintenance/service for our car (after unsuccessfully trying their online appointment scheduler..... turns out neither the website or I were the problem, they just aren't interested in making any money on service if you didn't actually purchase the car from them) I was told it would be about 6 weeks before I could get in. Unless of course I was willing to be extorted and pay for extras that I didn't need or want and they "could probably get me in quickly that way".....I went online and started reading all kinds of horrible reviews from many different Kia dealerships. Something is going on with this car brand and their service departments.... it isn't looking too good.
After recommendation from a family member I made a quick online appointment with Valley Kia for only two days later and when I showed up an hour early the service writer quickly helped me even though I was prepared to wait. He was friendly, the service was quick (I hardly waited much at all) and I was out the door for a reasonable price with a happy wife and a happy car. 5 stars for Juan in service and Valley Kia. Y'all had my low expectations and my guard up working against you, and you earned my trust and admiration. Will definitely be back.

I’ll give zero star if I could, unprofessional and very rude staff. Never answer the phone, even for quick questions regarding the vehicle I purchased from them, also they make me drive all the way back to the shop 4 times because of their mistakes on paperwork. This was the second purchase with them and last, I’ll never come back or recommend anyone else this place.

I recently had a very disappointing experience with Fontana Valley Kia. My wife took a day off work for a scheduled service, which was estimated to take 1.5 hours. We were promised a follow-up call regarding the status of our vehicle, but they never reached out. The service was completed the same day, but we were not notified. I tried calling multiple times over 24 hours without any response. We only found out that the car was ready because someone finally answered my call an hour before they closed. The lack of communication and poor customer service is unacceptable. This experience caused unnecessary stress and inconvenience, and I expect much better from a dealership. I won’t be returning and wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.
