Came into the store to purchase new brake pads , now I found out.. that there the wrong brakes for my vehicle. There supposed too be the
heavy duty front brake pads. And I told the associate that sold them. Too make sure there the right ones. That makes me mad that I have to take them back...unbelievable ? ? this is the Fontana O'Reilly location between Sierra Avenue & Foothill Blvd in Fontana. I won't recommend people too buy stuff at this location , they hire young people for the job. They need to hired older adults that know the job.

I have a commercial account and order from this location almost every day. I enjoy ordering from the morning shift with Robert Aaron, and all of the staff in the morning I've never had an issue and all staff members are very nice with excellent customer service I highly recommend ordering with morning shift I always have a hard time with afternoon shift Raymond and the other gentleman. there an older man with a large mustache gray hair is very unprofessional and very rude unfortunately I didn't catch his name, I was given a slip today by Gina a delivery driver on 2/19/24 to come into the store and retrieve my core deposit for an AC pro can. I came into the store around 5:30pm with a slip signed by the driver with the date and noted I was coming to retrieve my core funds and she had taken 2 cans from me when I walked into the store, both employees Raymond and the other gentleman were just standing and talking leaning against the counters Raymond was fairly nice but the other gentleman was very rude and blunt I nicely told him I was here to retrieve my money for the deposit. Both gentleman just stared at me while the older gentleman rudely told me "what do you want", when I explained to him it is all written on the slip I was given and explain to the gentleman I was what I was there for, he brushed it off and told me he didn't have any knowledge of what I was speaking l explained to him again, and he answered me with "where are the cans?" I let the gentleman know that Gina, the driver had picked them up from my shop and given me the slip to come pick up my money, he attempted at his own way to look up the receipt for the core when he was not aware on how to do it he became, passive, aggressive and told me he didn't know what to tell me that I couldn't retrieve my money for the deposit because the driver who gave me the slip went home I will not be coming in in the afternoon nor giving my business to afternoon shift as they are very unprofessional each and every time I call to place an order, Im answered by the same two gentlemen Raymond and unfortunately I did not retrieve the name of the other elderly man that was there, I hope O'Reilly's upper management sees this review and addresses this issues as I am not the only person who's had problems with this gentleman my family's business has been open for over 40 years handed down by generations and I would never let anyone nor myself treat a customer in such a way very unprofessional it's a job where costumer service is a must and if you don't like it find another job

Why is it so hard to quote accurate times about rotors being turned? Has the manager not learned from previous experiences and reviews? Like everyone else in the shop this am we were quoted a hour left came back and our rotors were sitting in the same spot we left them. Everyone was upset! Just be honest about timing we could have gone elsewhere not like it's cheaper here, everyone charges the same so you need to win with customer service which is lacking!

O’Reilly is always helpful , Alexander was patient in helping me find if my battery still had warranty, and very helpful in removing my old battery and installing it with the new battery best customer service thank you once again Alexander for all your help

I called O'Reilly in the evening trying to pick up a starter. it was not available and had to be ordered. I was told I could pick it up next day in the morning. When the mechanic took the starter out, he said it was working fine. Did not seem like we had a problem with the starter until he opened it up to check it out and clean it up and check the brushes. He discovered that the starter was broken inside so I had to get it replaced, I had took my time to pick it up because the mechanic was going to make sure that either the starter was good or bad. While the mechanic was working on my car, we discovered that I needed a serpentine belt in addition To the starter. The starter was supposed to be there already when I went to get the serpentine belt. I told the Counter guy that I had a starter on order and that I would let him know if I'm gonna need the starter after all or not. So he said no worries we Hold order items for two days he said so you still have till tomorrow to come and pick it up if you need it and if you don't need it, we'll send it back. so I told him OK thank you. The mechanic called me and said your starter is broken up inside and I realize I was gonna have to go pick up that starter the next day. The next day I called them up to give them a heads up. I'm on my way to pick up the starter. Guess what they had never ordered it. The person dropped the ball and was never ordered and I was like oh! man, the Bics, waiting for the starter. I got to give the guy that I was talking to at the counter credit that morning. he told me no worries. I will order your starter right now. I told him I said I needed today as soon as possible. The mechanic is waiting for it. He said you can pick it up today. I said what time he said 10 AM it was a little after 8 AM when I called him they just open the store. That all worked out thank God

Bad attention, I went because I had a defective battery and Reymond with a bad temper and very grouchy told me the battery is good I can not change it, I bought one and then decided to return it, I had a bad attention. I went to another branch and there if I changed it and very friendly. Learn branch 16990 Foothill blvd, if you don't like the job, give a chance to someone else who wants and loves the job.

I brought my front rotors to O'reilly's to get turned around 1 PM. The young guy (don't remember his name) at the counter said that only the manager operates the machine. The manager was helping another customer. The young man told me to drop them off and they would call me when they were done. I asked how long would it take? At this time the manager said (from the next terminal) "an hour and a half", the young man said... "let's say two hours". I was good with that. I was working on the rear breaks so I wasn't keeping track of time, at approximately 5 PM I called O'reilly's and was told that only one of the rotors was done. I was speaking with the manager and he said if I wanted them today or tomorrow morning. I had to work the next day so I told him I needed them today. He said... "give me a couple of hours". It was 8:30 PM and I hadn't received a call. I called them and the person that answered the phone told me the manager (the only one that knows or is allowed to work the machine) had left for the day. I explained that I was told they would be done today. The person on the phone without appologizing said... "there's nothing I can do". Lesson learned. Next time I'll do what I should've done and go to a machine shop or brake shop. I wish they would have just told me that they wouldn't or couldn't get the job done so I could go somewhere else before close of business. I know the people working there don't care because they get paid wether they work or don't. I ended up going to Auto Zone and bought brand new rotors. Can't speak for all O'reilly's , but definitely won't be going back to this one.
