Couldn't have had a better experience. These guys know their stuff. Honest, fair,and efficient. I will go here from now on for all vehicle repairs and maintenance. Great used vehicle selection available here also. UPDATED REVIEW!!! I once again had issues with my vehicle so I took it to the best of the best .I had a long list of repairs and parts that were necessary to pass smog. In less than 2 hours George had completed numerous parts changes an oil change and even drained and put new coolant in my vehicle. George and his son are incredibly smart and kind people. Thank you very much J & S Auto Center and Smog.

My sister recommend J & S Auto center for a smog check. I was on a time crunch but J&S helped me right away. I figured I asked them about the service to recharge the refrigerant in my car since that's what I was going to the dealership for later that day. Technician Jorge quickly gave me a quote that saved me $120!! I agreed and was out of there in no time! It felt good cancelling that Overpriced service appointment for a better price at J&S!

I'm very sad to report this... Customer beware! Last week 4/05/23 I brought my truck in for service and a Smog check. The service was fine. I was told to put about 50 to 60 miles on the truck and return for the smog check. Sadly, I brought the truck back yesterday 4/10/23. I pulled in and parked. George's employee met us and begun starting the truck. He intentionally started flooding the truck so it wouldn't start. He told me it was the fuel pump and it failed when I parked it. He left to get a rubber mallet and returned, started banging underneath.. George can out and also said it was the fuel pump. I was told to replace it was going to be $700 plus labor and will need to leave the truck. I know a bit about cars and wasn't believing what I was just told. Knowing this, I let the truck sit for 15 mins and proceeded to start the truck. It confirmed the employee acted intentionally. I told George to cancel the service. George than asked me, oh since its running fine do I still want the smog test? Nope! These people proved to me of not being honest with their customers and willing to intentionally setup failure for monetary gain from unsuspected customers. Not a way to run your business George!!!

Me and my entire family have been going to J & S Auto Repair for decades. We thoroughly trust George and his crew to give us an honest and fair price and repair of our vehicles. We have even bought a couple cars off his lot. Love this place and will always be a customer here.
