Poor office team, I called asking if they are accepting new patients and verify that they are my PCP as I had been assigned to PCPs with new insurance in the past only for them to not actually be able to take new patients due to them not updating their info to the insurance company. The person who answered the phone must have been new, they were relaying every question to someone else. After all that they got frustrated and told me to send them my insurance card and ID and then they will schedule the appointment via text message or to be sent to a Gmail account which is not HIPAA compliant so your personal information is NOT protected. FYI you need to sign a consent form for text message communications. I just wanted to make sure things were right on my end in case I needed to call the insurance to correct a mistake. I was originally excited by the positive reviews for the actual physician but with how rude the person was over the phone and via text I'm just going to find a different provider. office staff are who you need to interact with for your personal info and to set appointments and if they don't care well that's sad for the provider who cares about their patients. Bad office staff bad for business.

The appointment wait time is usually 5-10 minutes max. The nurses and ladies receptionists are friendly and polite. There is always parking space available. The doctor helps with weight loss with different options. Dr Yaqub is friendly and easy going. He takes his time to listen to his patients.

This place is totally unprofessional and rude to patients. Doctor rushed me out and did not care about my feelings or pain. The only thing that is good about this place is the nice ladies up front. Besides that I would recommend going to this office. Find another doctor

I am doing the weight loss program and the doctor is always very positive. he motivates me to keep trying for the better of my health. my wife also did the weight loss program a while back and she lost 50 pounds in six months. she stopped the junk food and she started going to the gym. the Staff here is always prompt to attend you and always acknowledge you. while being kind and professional. i also have Dr. Yaqub as My primary doctor and I feel like he takes his time to listen to my concerns without rushing. I feel like matter and I'm not just another patient number. I would really recommend him as a primary doctor. don't judge a book by its cover.

My family and I have been coming to this clinic and with Dr. YAQUB for a little over ten years. DR. yaqub is very kind and patient always professional HE EVEN APEAKS SPANISH. His staff is very kind and always on top of everything. Whenever I need an appointment I can be seen usually within two days. DR. YAQUB ALWAYS puts his patients first. He has even called me after hours to give me my lab results that I was so concerned about. I definitely recommend this doctor and his clinic.

My wife had an appointment at 2 in the afternoon they call saying her appointment was being move to 2:30pm she showed up 10min before her appointment waited 40 just to get her vitals checked and an extra half hour for the nurse to walk in to let her know that the dr was still out on lunch Im glad I wasn't there because I would off raised hell In that building.

I have been a patient of Dr. Yaqub's for almost 10 years and my children are his patients as well and he is very knowledgable & professional. He is very caring and attentive of his patients. There has been times I call the clinic with a concern of my medication refills or a referral to a specialist and he automatically takes his time of his busy schedule seeing patients that day and he will get on the phone with me to answer my concerns. Finally!!! a real doctor!!...who cares about your health & goes above & beyond to help you especially if having to deal with your insurance for approval on services. I definitely recommend Dr.Yaqub ...he has been the best doctor we have ever had ...and I trust his judgement when it comes to our health....

This clinic has really changed a lot in the last year. The staff is much more organized and I've never had a problem with Dr. Yaqub. He made sure to discuss all and any issues I was having. He was even nice enough to get my referral approved before I left the office!

THIS IS THE WORST DOCTOR I'VE EVER SEEN. If you have an actual problem, and this doctor is you're only hope; you're better off staying home. I made an appointment for ABSOLUTELY nothing. All he did was say he couldn't do anything and would call me with a referral. 3 days into the next week, still no referral; I call and get put on hold for a long time. The doctor himself gets on the line and says he found a doctor "on the computer just now", meaning he forgot about me until I called! I called the phone he gave me, and the number DOESN'T EXIST. What a waste of time this doctor was. I'm surprised he doesn't have tons and tons of malpractice cases against him

My family and I have been patients for this clinic for at least 7+ years, so I have many experiences with the staff and environment. First and foremost, it is a shame that yelp's rating system goes from one to five because if it were up to me, this place would have a decisive zero. Environment feels like a material representation of what sadness feels like. Bland walls, uncomfortable chairs, sticky magazines, all the things you wouldn't want to have in a doctor's waiting room, they probably have it and more in the back. The staff can only be described as unprofessional and uncaring. They literally look like they would rather eat the disgusting food of the restaurant downstairs that goes out of business every couple of months, than to deal with a patient. They never smile and when i look into their eyes, my day only gets worse. Not only that, but I was a patient that visited every six months and they actually lost my documents. How lovely. My goodness, I have so many stories about this place that whenever my friends drive by this place, they think of me and feel bad. When I went to get shots there one time, the nurse bandaged me in the wrong spots. Hello? I am clearly bleeding in this one area and you decide to put the bandage directly below the area? One time I came here with my sister and we were administered shots. Two nurses were there, one who was trained and one who wasn't. While showing the new nurse how to administer a shot to my sister, she made my sister faint. The trained one. So, you could imagine how I felt when it was my turn to get a shot. Thankfully, the doctor came and administered the shot, right? Wrong, this guy is probably the worst thing about this place. The doctor does not care about people. It is a god-sent miracle that people still come to this place. My family and I have officially decided never to come within a hundred meters of this place after this man refused to help us get treatment because it was "too much" for him. Why even become a doctor if you don't want to help people. All in all, do not come to this clinic, if you can even call it one. My family only went here because it was near, and for no other reason. Do not waste your time, energy, or money on this hell-hole. And if you decide to go through with it anyways despite my warnings, may god be with your soul.

Had a very great experience at this office! The staff was very friendly and knowledgable. They took the time to explain everything to me as I was unaware how insurances work. Dr. Yaqub was very understanding and he made sure I understood everything about my diagnosis. I would highly recommend this doctor! They also have a weight loss program that actually works! There are so many programs out there nowadays but they are well-informing and will walk with you every step of the way!

Office staff is horrifically unprofessional and does not know how to properly bill insurance or document payments. Do not ever go here. No doctor is of any use with office staff this atrocious.

I called in to see if they could take my insurance. However, the person who answered the phone proceeded to try and diagnose me over the phone. After she was done, she said I could have a medical emergency (which scared the heck out of me) and that I need to go to the ER. Well, I decided to go with my better judgement and try another Urgent Care provider in the area. It turned out I had a simple infection that was taken care of with antibiotics. Please stay away from Receptionists who play armchair Doctors!
