Every time I visit this store, it's a disaster. They always have one cashier, even when it's busy. The general manager (short thick lady with black hair) is so rude! She yelled at the only cashier for not being fast enough. The manager should've took corrective action and opened another register. Also, they don't prepare balloons before the store opens. Other dollar trees do this, and it is so convenient. Not sure why this store doesn't do this.

Waited in line patiently for about 10 minutes at checkstand 0 while a male employee filled up balloons for someone. The male employee saw me in line and proceeded to go into the office while a huge line was forming in checkout 2 and 0. When he finally came out he told everyone "I'll take whoever is next on checkstand 3". I spoke up for myself and another customer behind me who had been waiting longer than anyone else. I told him we had been waiting at this checkstand thinking he was coming back, (after all the checkstand light was on). He had the nerve to say that the checkstand we were waiting at was actually left on by a previous employee 30 minutes prior. He wanted us to get in a new line behind everyone else because that's the "fair" thing to do. I am just blown away that the male employee couldn't own up to his mistake on leaving the checkstand light on and causing this problem. What's worse is that not one employee told us that the checkstand was not to be used. The female employee working at the checkstand next to us and the guy filling the balloons saw us waiting and said absolutely nothing. I will never do business at this store again! Do better!!

As I was checking out. I was told that me card did not clear. I ask the cashier to put my things aside, because I need to contact the bank. While I was on hold with my bank the assistant manager came over to me and said you know you’re going to be on hold forever. Then he said no worries I’ll just pay for your purchase it’s only $5.00 and it’s no problem. I could only say what a blessing to had a manager that takes customer service to the next level. It wasn’t much that I had. But I really feel he would do it for anyone. I appreciate and very grateful to the Assistant Manager at store # 5189. Thank you’re

I went in to this store today to pick up a few art project items. As I I was going to check out there were two people in line for one register and a bunch of people in line for self check out. So I walk over to the shorter line when some chick yells at me (and I am not exaggerating). MAM, THERE IS ONE LINE!! (Uh... one line for self check out AND regular check out? Odd) so I say oh OK. Do you work here? (Because ya know she was rude). So she responds yes at which time I tell her there was no need to yell at me. I asked to speak with the manager, and she calls her. I just happened to walk up behind her as she is laughing about it with the manager on the phone. I wait five or ten minutes, and finally, someone else needs the manager, so she comes out helps the other person, then reluctantly looks at me. I'm sure she only heard my complaint to appease me. However, the employee's tone was unacceptable. If Rebecca is really the team leader, she should learn that her employees are a reflection of her leadership skills, and this particular employee was horrible!

How are you guys going to be closed during a business day and business hours. Learn how to manage your store and fix it when it isn't your business hours. Very unprofessional! This place is a mess.

Good ? like in all the Thai restaurants I've been to. It's just that the more time passes they always raise the price of sea soup and take away ingredients ? what's wrong with them? 2 shrimp, 4 pieces of jaiva (imitation? I don't know) 4 pieces of squid and a lot of broth and battlements like 6, that's in all the ones I've been to. The taste was very good. Here the chicken satay appetizers were more golden and their sauce was delicious. ?

The store was well stocked with a nice variety of merchandise. The aisles were clean and well organized. They have installed self-check out registers with only one employee manned one open, with a line. I am not a fan of self-check out. It eliminates jobs and offers no customer service, personal contact, or appreciation for my payronage. A machine recording telling me thank you is tacky and dehumanizing. I also didn't like feeling manipulated to use self-check out if I wanted to get out faster. Give me personal service any day.
