“This place sounds super fun, everyone is talking about how much fun they had in the arcade. I wonder if they have PacMan or Tetris those are my favorite arcade games.”

“I'm so happy to see a BIPOC owned bookstore in the city of Riverside. I came out to the store for an author event and it was a wonderful place to meet the author and connect with others. The bookstore is beautiful and the owner is a caring and wonderful person. They have a really great selection of children's books which is what I was looking for. I definitely recommend coming here because I support local and especially women owned businesses. And because they put on events for the community, I think it's a wonderful business to support. If you're in downtown Riverside for dining you absolutely must stop in and browse their wonderful selection, then pick up a new book for your To Be Read list!”

“I'm so glad this place exists! I've gone here for years for NA and AA birthday gifts and always find what I need. Chips, cards, books, t-shirts, hats, they have it all! Super friendly service everytime. Parking is a little rough out in front, but behind the building is plenty of parking and a back entrance for easy access. I recommend if your looking for something related to the program!”

“We came here to get some books as gifts for a friend's kid who is an advanced teenage reader. I was surprised we were able to find most of the books we need here. The owner was very helpful too as it's not so easy to immediately find a book we were looking for. Considering this is a secondhand book store I do feel it's on the pricey side. Overall it's worth checking out because you can spend a day here easily and find so many books you would like to read with better looking covers on them (compared to the new version book covers on Amazon).”

“It's not a very big store, but it has the essentials for school, nursing, and art students as well as the necessary textbooks. Aside from that they have some fun art stuff, snacks, and beverages. The staff was lovely, very helpful and kind overall.”

“This is my fav libraryFirst: they have a quiet room and it's seriously amazing. It sits off to the side and you really can't hear much of what's going on in the library. Just wish they had more than 4 study tables in there. 2nd: yes, it get noisy at times, but if you get there early enough you can get a good spot in the back. I wish this location was open all the time!”

“The staff is informative and helpful. The prices are borderline competitive with Internet and even sometimes CSUSB bookstore costs. It's an option and sometimes you can get a steal of a deal on rare chance.”

“I went to the campus to purchase items for my granddaughter who will be attending soon. There is a beautiful new building that has bowling lanes, pool tables and in the back on the bottom floor is a Habit Hamburger grill restaurant just steps from the book store. There was a good variety of tshirts, hoodies, sweatshirts, umbrellas, sweats, cups all with the school logo. There were other items, but I was looking for clothing items.”

“As a recent grad, the quality of education I received was superb. Most of the professors I had were wonderful and passionate about teaching, and the topics were engaging, encouraged discussions amongst students, and welcomed different opinions and critiques. I guess I was lucky to have pretty awesome professors who cared for their students' academic learning and well-being. As a non-traditional transfer student, it does get quite challenging to meet new people, but I made a few solid connections, which I care most about. The campus is clean, and the food is not bad; it can be decent. Yes, it can be quite a walk from the parking lot to campus, but who cares? People will always find things to complain about; it's all perspective. I love the libraries and did find many fave spots to study throughout campus. One thing I will say as a transfer, I found it to be quite challenging to find work on campus even though I qualified for work-study. I'd like to add that there is a vegan burger spot within walking distance from campus; it's so good; it's called "Veg & Go Plant-Based Fast Food," honestly, the best fries I've ever had in my life. You don't have to be vegan; go there and order the fries. Anyway, this school is underrated; there are plenty of smart, cool students here, and the professors I had were amazing; they truly made me fall in love with my academic journey and my time at UCR. They challenged me to become a better writer, to think critically and deeply about current events, and inspired me always to be better and grow as a student. I would like to add that the same professors I had have taught at other UCs and had graduated from UCs and other top Ivy League universities. Honestly, one's academic experience is what we make of it, and as long as we have the intention to develop good relationships with our fellow classmates and professors, one's academic journey will be enriching. I enjoyed my time here and I would do it all over again.”

“This is a great "honest" paper. the only one i have yet to see, that actually tells the truth. Even if it does rouse up some people(who cant handle hearing it) . No one likes to be picked on, but sometimes we need our eyes opened. this paper does that.”

“Jennifer was very helpful in selling me the course material for my upper division statistics course. She is very easy to communicate to and very prompt in her responses. I purchased an access code from UBE for the Statistics eBook and homework assignments; however, I did not know that I had previously purchased a lifetime access to it. Jennifer, refunded me my $72! Thank you for helping!”

“I was expelled from Marymount College. I had my boyfriend, but he ditched me for no reason. He became interested in my friend. I couldn't focus on school work. I got bad grades. My GPA went downhill. That's what happened. I called other community colleges in California, but they all said "No" as soon as I told them that I was expelled from Marymount college. However, Riverside City College is the ONLY college which took me in despite my bad GPA. Tutors there are so patient, but because of their and professors' help, I could graduate from Riverside City College! Now, thanks to RCC, I am living my dream of being a university student.”
