I’ve been going to this place since before the new management arrived and changed the name to California Auto Repair. I’ll say that I do appreciate Andres and what he did.However, I am enjoying the responsiveness and clarity that the new management has been providing more than when Andres was there.I took my vehicle in and they quoted me, gave me a call when projected prices didn’t match up, worked with my schedule, and the individual at the front desk offered to give me a ride home once I dropped my vehicle off.Will be coming here again if any issues occur with my vehicle in the future.

Very reliable and cost effective mechanics. Brought a transmission with a pan leak and broken pan bolt(s). Although they notified me they were short staffed, they fixed the problem in a week. Parts and labor was only $250.

Took my truck in for a random misfire code only threw parts at it. Didn't diagnose the problem. Had to take ubers back and forth. Said they did work to my vehicle that they didn't, very hard to get ahold of when inquiring about my vehicle . When picking up my vehicle there was nobody to speak to about the work that was done to my vehicle. Gave my truck back to me missing my engine cover and missing bolts on my ignition coils. Very bad business practice!

Terrible, Terrible, Terrible. They had my car for 5 1/2 weeks and did NOTHING!!! They never return phone calls, you have to chase them down and you're lucky if they answer the phone. On the Tuesday he had promised the car would be finished Andres, the owner, gave me the story that his mechanic had come down with cancer and would not be returning to work so they would not be able to finish the job. I do not believe this because when I went to pick up the car they had to jump start it because the battery was DEAD. So, at the end of a month and a half all they succeeded in doing was drain the battery dead and get greasy smudges and fingerprints all over the interior of the car. He had my car for 7 weeks. I got it back, the windows didn’t work and I was missing a piece in the center counsel. The day after I got it back and exactly 50 miles after I picked it up from him the check engine light came on. It went back to him for another 2 weeks. He did a full engine rebuild, and had to add oil and coolant 200 miles after getting it back from him. He is a liar, and I the amount of money he was paid is disgusting for the problems I have after he “fixed” the car. I wish I was never introduced to this guy. Stay away!

I highly recommend going here! My aunt, mother, and all my siblings go to señor Andres! He is truly the best. He is a trust worthy man and a pleasure to be around! He’s so friendly and kind and so are his children! He takes his time to make sure to find out what is going on with the car and does a phenomenal job to fix the car! Took my Armada to Nissan dealer, the quote me $2800 for a exhaust manifold. I told them no. Then took it to A Auto and he inspected it for free. He did the work and it was not what the dealer said. and he fixedd it for under $200. Only my 1st time here but so far very impressed. Give him $20 tip for his honesty.
