It turned out that I, as the customer, knew more about their procedures than their customer service representatives did. Due to their mishandling of my credit card transactions, I incurred extra penalties despite being assured otherwise by the representative. When I brought this concern to the supervisor, they completely ignored me in a pretty rude manner. I visited this branch once, but I won't be returning.
Upd. Their online customer care team reached out and resolved all my issues with great professionalism and care. Many thanks to them!

My dog got a hold of my wallet and tore up a $20 bill. It was in about 4 pieces with a corner missing. Online said take it to your bank and if you have more than 50% of the bill they’ll replace it. I haven’t been inside to actually visit a teller in a decade but figured it should be easy…all I can say is I left feeling like I was a con artist trying to pull the old “dog ate my money” trick. (For a $20 bill) They had no idea what to do and kept acting like it was such an inconvenience. Then finally a manager came up and said, “We can do it this one time…” OK. Gee thanks. Well no one even tried to take my info or verify if I was a customer?? So how are you gonna track me exactly?? I’ve been with Wells Fargo for over 30 years and am considering switching banks. I left so embarrassed.

2 stars only because of an awesome last experience. Svetlana is the best thing to ever happen to this branch. The older ladies that are supposed to be tellers - can't hide their racism easily. Went there to close my business account and the teller I interacted with was very loud and rude although she tried to force a fake smile. I never received a debit card so when I went to her booth I told her that I wanted to close my account. I asked her if I could give her my SSN for account access. She said no that they don't do that anymore. She then loudly responded, do you even have a driver's license?! I told her yes and gave it to her. She asked me again what I needed and I repeated close the account. She stated, "We don't do that and you will have to meet with a personal banker to do that." I waited 15 minutes but I was assisted by the most customer service oriented and professional person there (Svetlana). She made the other and prior incidences disappear, including the way I was looked at & treated when I first opened the business account in October. Keep Svetlana there! I like WFB and if I should decide to open a personal account there, I will not work with anyone but her. I only kept a minimal amount in this account to test them (after my first experience at this location). They failed miserably. I will keep my business accounts where they are as the balances are over 7 figures and the customer service is phenomenal. Until the employees like the teller stop judging a person for their color, ethnicity and race... I am a former Marine & I am a retired NASA engineer (a Hidden Figure) - on purpose! Very much educated and well qualified.

Occasionally swing by this branch for their atm. Parking is always available, and atm is never busy. Updated to the newer 200 bill atm which is wayyyyy better than the stupid 30 bill ones they used to have. Will update review if I ever go inside, but for now will stick with 4⭐️.For local reviews or travel content you can find us on most socials @sunsetourist

Normally experience in Wells Fargo has always gone well for last 20+ yrs. Last 2 service visits have been terrible. Last Friday, I was late by 17 min for my appointment because I got stuck at Walmart photo center for passport pictures, but the banker wouldn't use the remaining 13 minutes to service my request. I stood waiting and his next appointment didn't show up till I left (at least 5 minutes into the next scheduled appointment). Then I requested for an appointment for an hr later, but then he started giving me reasons about how he cannot notarize my documents (Green card, Driver License). The notarizing I requested was not for my DL or GC, but for "Sworn statements for copy of my green card, driver license and another document", which I have done many times in the past in the Wells Fargo. Of course, because it was emergency I had to go to UPS, where I paid $45 to do the same. Somehow notary at UPS notarized, other notaries at Wells Fargo were ok with it.He was trying really hard to lose a long time customer. I guess he was successful in convincing me to another bank.Next Step. File complaint with local office, main branch to report the very unfriendly customer experience and slowly transition to another bank.

On East Bidwell: My wife and I are retired and have been Wells Fargo customers before time. This specific branch is top notch in customer service, knowledge, and professionalism. They have helped us with many varied financial issues and have never failed our needs. Trust is a big word for bank customers & this branch meets that need. No, we do NOT work for Wells Fargo!

Always the worst branch in the area. Slower than snails, no A/C while you wait literally 30 mins to make a deposit, and super misinformed tellers. This branch has been this way for many years. Just this branch. Amazing how absolutely poorly this branch is managed.Response to WFB's response:No thanks. Your entire company has a long history of criminal activity. The public knows you don't care about anything but the bottom line, which is why you don't run your A/C in your branch. You're a bunch of cheapskate crooks. I very rarely use this branch, and this is why.

Let me count the way Wells Fargo failed with a single transaction. I deposited 2 checks into the ATM at the same time, which the ATM said it could handle. The ATM was not able to see check 2 under check 1, so it only credited my account for 1 check even though the receipt showed part of check 2 in the image. 1)I called the branch as soon as they opened. They said they couldn't help since the ATMs are serviced by a separate department. ("Not my department." Excellent customer service statement). What's the point of having a branch if they can't help you? 2) ATM claims dept said they would handle it in 10 business days. 3) 10 days passed, they gave me a provisional credit for check 2 at that time. I'm glad I wasn't desperate for the money! 4) They sent a letter saying I needed to send them copues of the 2 checks, or they may revoke my provisional credit. The checks were written against a Wells Fargo account, which I stated many times! I gave them the check writers' info (which can be seen on the first check image). They could have easily seen the images on the debit side of this transaction 5) I called many times to help them fix this and asked to speak with a manager. Obviously, none were available, but they would call me back in 1-2 business days. 5 days later, I called again, only for them to let me know everything was cleared up and the deposit was finalized a few days prior. Nice of them to not call and let me know. 6) I asked that the mobile app allow deposits over $5K, which I have been asking for for the last 5 years or more. They said it isn't allowed, even though other banks and brokerages allow massive single deposits. I asked what would have happened if I had deposited two $100 bills and one was stuck to the other. No one cared to answer that one. So many other issues with this place, but they aren't worth my time. Anyone have suggestions for a better bank? Seems like they are all equally garbage these days.

The older woman who was asking people in line what they needed was extremely rude. She had an attitude and laughed at me when I wanted to transfer some money and she said "it doesn't work like that" when it came to when it would be sent. She was very condescending. She should be retired if she is that grumpy and would treat customers of 10 years+ like that. Judging by the other people of color's review and how I was treated, I wouldn't be surprised if she is racist. Usually older people are.

Connie is amazingly patient, polite and awesome. I didn’t know how to do my work deposits and she helped me get it all done and made me feel like I was in safe hands. If she hasn’t gotten a raise she should get one.
