Beautiful clothing, excellently curated and sized for women of all shapes. This boutique is unlike anything in the area. I love coming here and finding a truly eclectic piece of clothing or outfit that is stylish and tailored. The owner Anita is delightful as well as knowledgeable about the designer brands she carries. If you're looking for a sophisticated outfit or styled pieces to add to your wardrobe, this is a must stop.

I was having a girls day with my sister, in Folsom, and this shop was one of the few shops we actually went in to. The shop was beautifully decorated but the gorgeous Coat Dress outside was what drew us in. As we looked through the shop we noticed that each piece we saw had distinctive detailing whether a blouse , Dress, or pant. They have very unique pieces and Anita was amazing, and quite charming. We will definitely be back. Thank you for the lovely experience today. Rose M Cooke

We were attracted by the lovely red dress being showcased in the front. James, husband was very cordial and helpful. He allowed us to browse freely and showed us the clearance areas. He shared the testimony of the boutique beginnings. We could tell the buyer, Anita has impeccable taste. If you want to see a flash of New York, London, Paris and Milan in Folsom, please visit Anita Rochelle Boutique. The apparel you buy will light up the room!

Anita Rochelle Boutique and Fine Art is one of my favorite shops on Sutter Street. The shopping experience starts from the street, where there is usually an outrageously cute coat or two on display outside the store. In fact, when I recently noticed the pop-up shop at Palladio, the coats were the first thing to draw me in, just like at the home store on Sutter Street.(You can find my review for the pop-up shop by scrolling down three reviews, or by clicking here: bit.ly/3H6rq3u )The first time I stopped by Anita Rochelle Boutique & Fine Art, I'm pretty sure it was just around the corner, at 303 Riley Street, in the space which is now occupied by The Vault.Back then, the shop was called The Bag Lady. When it moved around the corner, to where it is now, it became The Bag Lady Boutique & Sutter Street Artist Gallery. As popularity continued to grow, The Bag Lady finally became Anita Rochelle Boutique and Fine Art. These days, the boutique carries designer women's fashion, plus overcoats, purses, and jewelry. The walls are plastered in local art, which is also for sale. All of the items sold here are unique, and most of them are surprisingly reasonably priced. Most days, you can find the owner herself tending to her beautifully decorated store. She's very friendly and easy to talk to, even for a shy person like me.The boutique sometimes hosts special events, such as this weekend's Trunk Show featuring a designer from New York. Special events are usually listed in advance on Facebook.Overall, this is one of the best shops on Sutter Street. I highly recommend stopping by to check it out.

Such a lovely place, I was able to attend the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony of Anita Rochelle Boutique at Palladio. It was co-hosted by the Folsom Chamber. We shopped, drank, and ate! Swing by for a new wardrobe, accessories, a nice gift, or just to chat! : )-Anthonyxibarrax

Anita knows fashion. Some of my favorite tunic tops are from her boutique/gallery. She has a a nice variety of apparel, original art and home decor. Her boutique is in a great location. She has something for women of all sizes from bold lto the little black sophisticated dress. Check it out!

It's all well and good with the owner of this store, unless you have an issue with something you bought. I have called her twice, visited the store and left my name and number to advise her of a problem with a blouse I bought there. Anita will not respond, no matter how polite and patient I have been. This is very poor business practice and I am out the money I paid for my blouse - that can never be worn again. DO NOT SHOP THERE.

Anita's sense of style and sweet disposition are the cherry on top of this wonderful boutique. I was stunned to find so many options for my oh so curvy (size 16-18) figure. I walked out with jeans, a light overcoat, two tops, a fabulous sweater and a VIP card, to boot! And the best part? When you shop here you're supporting a Black Woman-Owned Small biz <3

For Christmas I wanted to buy my wife something really nice. So, fully realizing that as a man that would be beyond my ability in the area of Women's Clothing and Purses I decided to find a nice boutique to get a gift card from. I found the Anita Rochelle Boutique and I have to tell you I was not at all disappointed. I went and saw the owner and told her all about what I wanted to do and how important it was to me. I got a $300 Gift card for my wife and gave it to her for Christmas. My wife shops at places like Ross, Target, TJ Maxx and Marshalxs. It is not an issue of money, it is were she feels comfortable and figures she can find decent clothes for a women that is not a size 0 or even a "chubby" size 3. When my wife when to the store the owner immediately put the connection together and made sure my wife had an amazing time. She spent time with her to get my wife to look at different options she would not normally look into and really get out of her comfort zone. If that was not amazing enough. One of the very expensive purses my wife purchased that was hand made by a local artisan was missing a important piece and the zipper broke without it. The owner was great in taking the purse back and sending back to the artisan that made it to have the purse fully restored to the condition is should have been. It was a great experience for me and my wife. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great customer experience and quality products.

If replying back to my reviews is what the owner needs to do to make herself feel important and less insecure, then that's totally fine. I'll still continue to not read her responses to my reviews since her and her said business is waste of time. Seems like the owner and January want a fight instead of enjoying tea cakes like the old ladies they are. LOL. You made a huge mistake hiring January and keeping her Anita. Keep continuing to reply away, all I get are notifications showing me that I must be that important to you old bags. And all I do is ignore and never read a single one. So keep on replying to your self if that makes you feel better about your pathetic business. I'll just keep on ignoring you. Cheers! You are so wrong and it needs to be talked about and race is being talked about.. if you don't want to talk about it then you're part of the problem. Even my College professors in LA would be laughing right now at you and your Facebook friend January. My family and friends sure are. So not only are you ignorant, but you are a liar Anita , since I found out you and January are both friends on Facebook and are work friends. Im sure you guys have built a friendship if you have worked so long together. And that's why you won't fire her! Lmfao. Even my family and friends told me after I told them what you said to me, that you are one shitty owner if you allow your employee to treat people like me and that other customer like s*** and side with your employee. If we were the owners, we would fire and retrain our employees to not harass and be snobby and attack a younger 25 year old customer about her tag on her purpose. Your employee was out of line, you defended her and condoned her behavior which was wrong and it shows more about you and your true colors. Getting to talk with you too, you wouldn't shut up about yourself and just love to what yourself talk and wouldn't let me have a word in. You might seem nice on the outside to others but when your a customer makes a complaint to you about your employee, you brush them off, dismiss them and take your employees side. And my guy friend said so what if there's an age difference?! That isn't the point, no one should have been treated and harassed and attacked like I was for a stupid tag on MY purse that belonged to ME. You made excuses when it had nothing to do about the age difference. So what I can tell at a 5 year old and I'd still be in the wrong! Oh why?! Cuz it doesn't matter I should of kept my mouth shut like your hag employee January should have in my situation. You deserve to be blasted everywhere along with the rude snotty racist woman January. January won't change but the biggest problem is you who allows her to daft at the store when you even told me Anita that she talks rudely with other customers, and guess what they are of course white so they don't mind. It's different honey when it's an old white hag harassing a 35 year old Asian brown woman. You are lucky I kept my calm and had manners and didn't go off at the both of you especially January. But here I am getting to tell others how I was treated and spread the word about what a shitty racist hag January is along with her boss friend Anita who lets her employee stay nuts because they are friends. And I'm not surprised you treated another customer like s*** and took your employees side when she had a complaint. Shake my head. I'm not the only one thank god and felt pretty validated when I read that. Everyone don't give this business your money until the owner does the right thing by firing her rude old a** racist white lady employee January. They are bets friends and think their behavior is justified and valid. The owner who acts like nothing bothers her is full of s*** and hot hair since she thought I was that important to write me a response back on here. I'll keep telling the whole world what happened here and to not come here. Hag racist old employee January is at the age where she needs to
