Great savings, clean, ok customer service. Lots of varieties when it comes to drinks, snacks, bath and kitchen cleaning supplies. Fast checkout lane, low foot traffic. You can self checkout, scan on app, or use the regular lanes. Beef, seafood, and chicken doesn't match Costco's. Entrance and exit doesn't give me that happy feel like Costco. They were closer to a 4 stars but not quite there, because they lack the engagement when I'm entering the store, beef varieties aren't well cut. It's too thin and the marveling and color doesn't look great. Best short ribs here for sure. Better than Costco. I will still shop here.

I love Sam's Club for their scan and go shopping and their curbside pick up however it's really irritating when you use scan and go but the checkers at the front want to literally scan almost everything in your cart. What's the point of scan and go if they are just going to hold you up at the line and rescan everything. I like the curbside pick up as well except their staff are extremely grumpy. I placed two different orders, , both for 7-8 am pick up. An older blonde lady came to drop off my order and when I asked her if she gave me both orders she snapped you only have one. I had to show her I placed two orders both for same pick up time. She grumpily went back in to get the second order, put it in the trunk of my car and slammed the hood. No thanks, just stomped away. Maybe it was too early in the morning for her.

NEVER ORDER ANY FURNITURE TO BE DELIVERED TO YOUR HOME!!!!!! This is for an online order. We ordered online a dining set and chairs. We only received 1 of the 2 boxes. The delivery guy said that he would return with the second box. He didn't return. Now he isn't returning our phone calls. According to Sam's Club documentation, THE DELIVERY GUY LIED and reported to Sam's Club that the delivery is complete and that we received both boxes. Now we have a table and NO CHAIRS. If Sam's Club continues to employ this delivery company, then you're probably not going to get your packages. Now we get to wait in anticipation for the "Sam's Club specialist" to respond to our case. I JUST WANT MY CHAIRS BUYER BEWARE.

I still love SAM's and it still is my favorite! Costco is just too busy and way too many rude customers and employees!! Sams has always been great to me and helpful as I'm disabled. Plus enjoy the gas prices!!

I tried to return a Christmas secret exchange gift, I knew was purchased at Sam's. Tim at the service desk said I needed the gift giver name. well, it was a secret exchange, I said it was online so I knew it was from Sam's. Tim said to stand aside and look it up on my phone, while he waited on another customer. I did and found the info quickly while he's still with another customer. When he got back to me, he said, second problem, I don't have an open register to give a refund. Hummm. Not my problem. Can I see a manager? Stephanie comes over and would not even hear the problem. Since I didn't have the gift giver name, no refund or exchange. I will never go into Sam's again. Tim should have accommodated me without stalling me while he asked me to show him that the item was online...Stephanie should have taken time to hear the problem and maybe gained a future member.

I bought a 6 pack of chocolatemuffins and they had a nail baked into the muffin. Called the manager and told them my tooth was cracked and nothing. crickets. never going back, don't eat the food unless you want it to come with hardware inside.

i encountered the most unprofessional,rude and downright bitter individual this afternoon at Folsom Sams club. Pickup app wasn't working and couldn't view my order# so a nice gentlemen pushing the carts instructed me to go through the exit door to ask a rep to assist me with my question as pickup area was close toe exit. I ran into Elaine and without listening to anything, she told me to get out. wouldn't even listen to what i wanted to ask. whatever happened to customer service, common courtesy, being respectful? According to her i was to wait in line to ask any question I had,. If it wasn't for the pickup rep (i completely forgot to ask her name), I would have left right away without picking anything, I was that appalled with the treatment. 3 stars are for the pick rep who was respectful,courteous and KIND and from what i saw does all the heavy lifting in making sure customers get their orders delivered to their vehicles. not an ounce of attitude. That's what true customer service is about. She apologized for Elaine's attitude and rude behavior. I will never step foot at this location.

Your online marketing is a scam. Stuff is apparently in stock but orders get cancelled for no apparent reason after purchasing online. Only to find out they were never in stock. Happened several times. I know y'all probably don't control online sales, but you're a part of the business. This review is going here for now.

I was surprised how much I enjoy having a Sam's Club membership. They have different items than Costco so I've benefited from having both memberships. They also have the same departments as Costco like the cafe, bakery, pharmacy, optical, and tire shop. A big plus is that they don't have the same long lines. They have a pretty good return policy as well. I've never had to wait in a very long line for returns. The tire shop is good and I was able to get replacement tires under warranty. They only charge a $20 labor fee per tire. But the staff there is pretty slow to help customers. They also left a the lug wrench on when they were driving the car out. Fortunately nothing was damaged. They open at 8:00am for plus customers which is nice because it's an hour earlier than Costco. The biggest "pro" they have over Costco is the "Scan and Go" feature on the Sam's club app. You can scan and checkout your own items and never have to wait in a cashier line.

It was my first time inside Sam's club. I had 3 instacart orders to keep track of. Everything was pretty easy to find, in comparison to Costco in my opinion. S/o to Debbie at the registers for helping me! I forgot my instacart physical card at home so I had to leave mid checkout & she was so friendly, helpful and understanding of my situation so she set my cart aside and helped me as soon as I came back. She didn't make me feel like I was a bother at all, she genuinely was trying to help me. Everyone in general was super friendly when I asked where I could find certain items :)

Please take Barbara out of Customer Service. She is not friendly whatsoever. I came to return something for my Mom that my brother ordered her online. We've done this before and we know we do not need an online order number. We get up to Barbara and give her our Sam's Mastercard and she tells us "I see your address this is online order I NEED your online order number" I'm like can't you just use the card? "No I need your online order number!" I call my brother who comes to the front and he tells her as I did she should be able to use our card to view online purchases. Barbara states "Oh well I don't need your order number it just makes it easier for me to look up". As my brother is looking up the order number he sees the option that he could the app for a return and he says oh this is cool I could have done this through the app and used the barcode. Barbara states "well I am already doing the return here and youre trying to do it on your phone so what do you want me to do?" Please put Barbara somewhere she doesn't have to talk to people. She is very unpleasant and not nice at all. She made my mom very uncomfortable when we were just trying to make a return. And I felt like we were being scolded for not making her life easier.

I'm a Costco person at heart, but there are some items that Sam's Club has that Costco does not. Sam's Club is definitely not as crowded as Costco, so that helps with saving time. But then again, they don't have most of the items I usually get haha. If you don't have the Sam's Club App, I highly recommend you download it. Their "Scan & Go" is an awesome feature that I didn't know I needed. You don't have to stand in line for check out. You are your own cashier, so if you feel you were over charged by scanning an item more than once, you only have yourself to blame haha. The convenience factor of their "Scan & Go" feature is a huge plus over Costco. I mean, what's really the point of the Costco app aside from showing your digital membership card haha.

Cafe employee was very rude. We walked up to make a purchase and she hesitated for minute before she would help us and then told us they were closed. She literally waited for the clock to turn 7pm.
